The store has good inventory, it is highly likely that you will find what you are looking for if you are looking for flooring and other home improvement projects. I get it, everyone is understaffed. But we waited in a line that was not moving because the only cashier was stuck helping a couple of ladies with an particularly complicated order. The manager could have easily jumped in and opened another register and move everyone through, but he just ignored the growing line. This may improve with time and more staff. In the meantime, just know that most likely, help will be sparse and you will have to wait for a while to pay for your goods and get out of there. read more

Our first visit to Floor & Decor (and possibly the only floor and tiling spot open on Sunday!). It was worth the drive there and full of almost every option you have in mind for flooring, shower tile and kitchen backsplashes. The aisles were nicely marked to help guide you to selections and the tags explained where the tile can be used. You'll find some fixtures, several sinks and bowls, grout and installation tools. I appreciated that several aisles showed the grout colors available - had no idea there were so many options and how it makes a difference in the final look. The store offered a few looks along the wall, which helped my brain get creative and narrow down the looks, colors and finishes I liked. They displayed large blocks of tile on the wall or within floor displays. It was big slabs of the tile, making it easier to visualize how it would look in your house. You can purchase samples to take home and lay out next to your paint or cabinets. Sadly the one tile I liked for my kitchen backsplash was nowhere to be found and I learned it was discontinued. It was also difficult to find a worker and the lady at customer service was consumed by one person. We left without speaking to one associate and were there for at least 45 minutes. I'll rely on their website for options, FAQ, etc. and likely hire a local installer rather than rely on their team to help me with questions. Depending on what I find at other tile stores, I may return for tile. read more

Everyone we encountered at this store was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the products. We were buying 1200 square feet of 24x48 tile. I went back so many times trying to decide. Every time I got the same "first class" treatment. Once I chose my tile checkout and delivery details took no time. We worked mostly with Ms B (she is great!!) but everyone we talked to was so helpful. I can't say enough about the amazing staff at this store. We first heard of Floor and Decor on YouTube. This place is the perfect stop to find new tile floor and accent tiles for our bathroom renovation. It was our third stop of the day, as we research tiles to purchase. And luckily we found everything we were looking for all in one place with a great price tag. It's an extremely large building (feels like a Lowe's) so don't get overwhelmed. When you walk in, there's plenty of displays to get an idea of what you like and don't like for remodeling. We started our walking - make sure you're ready to walk and have your walking shoes on- down each row. We first took pictures, but realized that we finally found what we'd been looking for all day. They don't offer free samples, but you can purchase one tile to bring home. This makes it nice when you need to return a box that's half empty as well. The store has Everything! Floor related. Our salesman Devonte' was amazing! He saved our small bathroom project from disaster simply by offering his expert knowledge. We were going to use a ceramic tile to go under our bathtub, which would have surely broken under the weight of the tub. Devonte' directed us to the porcelain tile and even made a color suggestion which was on point with what my wife had in her mind. Well done sir. Thank you again! A great selection of ceramic, concrete, porcelain, and glass tile as well as row upon row of wood flooring! F&D (though there's not a ton of Decor) is well stocked and well staffed. You can almost always buy single tiles as samples to take home and check how your lighting and paint work with your options. There are also plenty of inspiration displays to get your mind going. It is a great mix of basic colors as well as accents if you want to get away from the standard beige and gray. Along with their large in-house selection, they have some inventory online that we didn't see in the warehouse. I was a little surprised that there wasn't much in the way of peel and stick or vinyl sheets, but tons of tile and locking boards as well as the tools and accessories if you want to DIY. read more

We were kinda disappointed that the display did not match the many boxes we looked through. He was so nice to help us and even offered to go get the grout we wanted and offered to load in our car. I have had some mixed experiences at this store in the past, but let me say it's an entirely new day! When I arrived at the entrance to Floor and Decor two days ago, this really friendly young man, Devonte approached me asking if I needed help. He went out of his way to assist me! He was kind and accommodating! I chose a rather large 36" x 72" tile for my walls but was having an issue finding coordinating tiles for the floor and shower. Devonte promptly located a cart and PUT one of MY HUGE TILE's IN IT and followed me all around the store so I could find just the right companion tiles for my bathroom. Devonte is a super impressive young sales associate and I highly recommend you find him when you get to the store. After 35 years, our Whirl tub bath was no longer used. My husband and I decided we needed to remove the tub and update the vanity/dressing area in our MBR. Our contractor, Chris Maddox, and daughter who stages homes, recommended Floor and Decor on Preston Hwy. It had been several years since I frequented the store. On a sunny Saturday last January, 2022, I was pleasantly surprised to the stores' wide aisles, various displays of tile, beautiful granite quartz and marble, not to mention several gorgeous shower/bathroom vignettes. In my usual rush, I spotted Ms. Sarah Hyland, a designer. Within ten minutes, I had her card and an appointment for Sunday morning. I sent my son-in-law there to purchase flooring for the Kitchen & Bath they didn't have the black flooring that was advertised so he went all the way out there for nothing! He ended up finding what we selected at Lowe's, for a very reasonable price. We were shopping for a backsplash to FINALLY finish our kitchen renovation. We shopped for glass tiles at all the local big box stores and a couple specialty stores. The specialty stores we shopped were way out of our league price wise at $50 or more per square foot. The big box stores had a very limited selection, and if you had to order what you wanted, it could take weeks to get it.. Enter Floor and Decor. We found a huge selection of glass tiles in numerous colors and sizes. Additionally, their prices were 25% or more cheaper than similar tiles at other stores we shopped. Also, you can buy a piece (or more) of each tile you like to take home and see it in your room. Floor and Decor will gladly, and easily refund your money on the pieces you do not want. We did that twice. Took home several pieces to see them in our kitchen then take them back. We had no problems. So, after a couple trips to shop, once we made up our mind what tile we wanted, they didn't have enough for our job. An employee started searching other stores to see where they could get the amount of tile we needed. Once it was determined a couple other stores had plenty of what we needed, we were given an 800 number to call for customer assistance. My wife called the 800 number and spoke to a young lady that was very helpful. Once my wife gave her the style and color number, the young lady said she could have our tile shipped to the Louisville store. She said we did not have to pay for shipping since it was a stock item. Of course we did have to pay for the tile in advance, but we paid the exact shelf price at the Louisville store. We were assured, if there was any damage, we would be credited. We were told it would take 7 to 10 days to arrive in Louisville. We were surprised when 4 days later we received a call from the Louisville store telling us our tile was there and ready for pick up. Another plus is the fact that if we over bought, which we were advised to do and did, we could return any unused pieces for a full refund. Keep in mind we can return unused pieces because our tile is a stocked item. I don't know, but I doubt you can return special order tile. read more

This place is huge!!! It occupies the old Value City on Preston and takes up all of it. If you're looking for a big variety of flooring and wall tile this is the place to go. The variety covers both the number of selections they have as well as different price points as well. The staff was helpful but not pushy. Floor decor responded to get in touch with there warranty team, which I did I took 3 weeks and some lady from Atlanta sent me a warranty on Nucore LVT (ABSOLUTELY NEVER PURCHASE) that said in souch fine print that I had to raise 300 percent on the computer We do not cover indentations. But we will send a factory Inspector out to your house at Your charge of 600,00 dollars. How can a company charge a customer 600.00 dollars to inspect there crap that has alreay cost us 9,200.00. Not impressed at all. Ordered $2,000 worth of tile online for my business. Online it said it was in stock and we called to verify that the amount we needed was in stock. Went this morning for pickup and only part of the order was in stock and no one could tell me when the rest would be in. I asked to cancel my order since I purchased it with the understanding that it was immediately available and I have a family moving in the house soon. I was told the $2,000 would not hit my credit card for 7-10 business days. No one out of the 3 people I talked to offered to help me pick another product in the store. I was the only customer in the store at the time. I feel like I was treated like a dumb blonde when in reality I own and operate 200 rental properties. Their loss. I called on 4.23.18 and spoke to Sedrick regarding 3x6 Pure Cadet Tile at 7:50 pm. I previously bought 120 and wanted to buy what was left. He told me he would look to see if it was still in stock and call me back. This never happened. I called back on 4.24.18 at 4:29pm and was told by Jennifer he was at lunch. She took my name and number for him to call me back. Then once again NO CALL. I called back at 6:12pm, he answered the phone. I asked to speak to the store manager to which he replied "I'm the manager", found out from manager on call he was not. Is it customary for your associates to not call people back, then give excuses that your busy?? Then don't answer the phone. I was told by the on call manager that Sedrick should not have held the tile and he would not hold it any longer for me. That's fine. I will take my business elsewhere. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Dont tell people you will hold tile, not call back twice, then be told by your associate manager he would NO LONGER HOLD IT!! YOUR LOSS. And not even here a year yet!!! read more

I was referred to this store as I am remodeling my bathroom in the new house I just bought. I walked in an was very overwhelmed. Jessica a worker came to my rescue. Jessica was very understanding, polite, and helped me stay in my budget. I was in this store for 2 hours as I keep changing my mind on things. Jessica was due for lunch and Marie finished helping me. Marie was just as polite and helpful as Jessica. I was able to get all my stuff for under $400.00 in this store and both employees keep telling if I did not need all my materials I could bring them back piece for piece to get a refund.
