In reading the reviews, I've noticed a common theme; sales reps not consistently available. I too get the feeling they hide from customers when entering the store! Apparently all the sharing with managers hasn't helped. I've been here 5 times including today (sitting in lot waiting for them to open). Twice I was immediately offered assistance and twice there were no reps on the floor. Today is my 5th visit. The selection is overwhelming so if you are not sure what you want, prepare to spend about two hours browsing. Although I only purchased my thresholds here, the prices are great and each time I was here, they had in store specials. I will definitely purchase in the future. A plus: as I'm sitting writing, they opened the store 3 minutes early after they observed 3 customers waiting near the entrance. I do like that. I went inside and the first employee I encountered greeted me and offered me assistance. He tried to help but didn't understand the difference between a threshold and a window sill (marble) and apparently couldn't read the stores signs, but he tried. read more

Not sure if this is the correct place to do this but I couldn't figure out where to leave a review. People more often than not write reviews because of a negative experience they had at a store. That is NOT this review. I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service I received at the Moorestown location. Virginia and Damien took great care of my husband and I while we were purchasing a large order. Even though the store was closing and they were crazy busy they didn't rush us and made sure we left satisfied. Workers like Damien and Virginia need to be reminded of how valuable they are to the Floor and Decor team. Because of them my husband I will be a shopper at this location for years to come. Even though we thanked them countless times for staying late and helping us process our order, I wanted to make sure higher management was aware of how incredible they are. I found the employees at the Moorestown location to be helpful, friendly and patient. I was in the store several times over a six-week period, selecting tiles, exchanging, returning. I would suggest, if possible, going on a weekday or very early on a weekend morning for more personalized service. In the Moorestown location, I was especially impressed with and appreciated the help I got from Devin (store manager), Damien (store manager) and Jessica (who spent a lot of time helping me select tiles, even though I think she does more of the inventory/stocking responsibilities...she was so sweet!). Although the products that we purchased are nice, the products were not available as promised. We were told that the products would be available for pickup in forty-five minutes. However, we returned three hours later and the purchased order was not completed as promised. Additionally, we paid for the products in full but the order was not complete. We have to wait an undetermined amount of time for the remaining items. This is appalling to say the least and to spend the amount of money that we did, we should have been smiling as opposed to having anger. read more

I like this store better than the one in Levittown, personally. We bought a small amount of tile for our laundry room backsplash here and I REALLY love it. We got an amazing price since it was discontinued and we only needed a small amount anyhow.... but you can't beat Travertine mosaic for LESS THAN 3 bucks a piece. We were able to get the whole job done, grout and all for less than 80 bucks. We were able to ask questions and find employees when we needed, and the girl at the register was super sweet. I love... love the ginormous selection. If you can't find something here that you love, it probably does not exist. lol I also really like that the end caps of the aisles in the mosaic section are little design centers so you can lay out your tile and see what it will look like together. They also have free design consultations which is nice, I haven't needed to use that yet though. Can't do any of that at the big "depot" stores. We will more than likely get our tile for our bathroom here this weekend. Can't beat the prices and the selection. I'll update the review as I get more acquainted with the store. read more

This store needs a lot of work on its customer service. Purchased 2100 sqft of hardwood two weeks before my job, and the sales person said it was in stock. Received a call 3 days before delivery date stating they were 35 boxes short. They scrambled to pull from another store (only after I suggested it) and confirmed everything would be there on time. Delivery showed up and the order was 35 boxes short, putting me several days behind schedule with my hired contractors. It took me 2 days and a 45 Min wait on hold to reach someone. I now have to drive back and pick up the hardwood on my own.... I will never buy from here again. I highly recommend against this company. read more

Horrible customer service. I paid for the white gloves service for the delivery. Did not receive the two rolls of under layers. They refused to admit they made a mistake and no one can contact for complaint. The store manager didn't care, she basically told me to either drive there to pick them up myself or forget about getting it, even tho I paid for the $250 delivery fee. read more

We are in the process of redoing a couple bathrooms in our house and stopped by Floor & Decor to have a look. We were truly impressed by the wide variety of flooring materials that they have (and is actually in stock and at very reasonable prices!). We happened to meet with Andree, and we were glad that we did. She has a great eye for putting together different options based on a general description of what your style is. And she met with us on several occasions as we progressed the project to help us think through different challenges that popped up during the construction. I would highly recommend Andree if you need design help for flooring materials. Also, Floor and Decor made it very easy to buy the materials we needed, and returns were equally easy on material that we ended up not needing. read more

This place is a rehabber's wonderland. I usually avoid specialty stores like this because they are usually pricey and many times I'm disappointed with the selection. This was not the case here. First of all it is massive and so is the selection. Not only does the selection of flooring, tiles, and backsplashes blow away the competition but the prices are so much better here as well. From now on when I need to pick out flooring and tile, Floor and Decor will be my first stop. read more

I used Andree to get my back splash done in my new house. When she asked me what I was looking for, all I was able to do was give her a picture to go off of. She was able to give me exactly what I was looking for and was such a big help. She was extremely knowledgeable, offered options to choose from, and gave design ideas. She also was able to track down tile pieces that her store didn't have but another one did. Building a home is stressful, but working with Andree made this part of it extremely easy. Buyer be ware!!!! If they are out of stock and you love the floor they take your full payment and tell you in will be in in one week. This allows them to use your money to finance incoming inventory. Wait a week and call to check on your order. Oh gee,,, delivery has been moved to 5 weeks. Bait and switch tactics to use your money to finance their imported products. Selection is nice, customer service is not. I stood in line for 20 minutes with heavy tile in my hands because only one register was open. The cashier called for help but the other workers that were puttering around the store arranging things clearly didn't want to help ring up customers. This has happened before at this location, the floor employees don't seem to care about long lines to check out. I wont waste my time here in the future, Lowes and HD are down the street. read more

Prices are tough to beat and there is a reason for it. The customer service is non-existent. Good luck with any special orders they literally take over a month to arrive. We had a rep actually bill us for the order, three weeks go by, we call and the order was never placed. Trying to rectify the situation, one rep said they would call us with an update to pull inventory from another store location, days go by no call and on to another rep we go. It's a circle of hell on the floor with no decor, see what I did there. All you can do is find the humor in dealing with this place. Save a few bucks and gain a headache in the process. Invest money into training staff that actually has the quals to run a location and maybe the positive reviews will start to trickle in. read more

Bait and Switch are the words that come to mind when I think about this store!!! I purchased $6000 in bamboo flooring. Craig was very helpful with creating my shopping list and told me my special order Stair Treads would be in in about 2 weeks. AFTER Craig rang up my order and took my money I was told stair treads take about 2 months to come in. I could not return anything as we already had rest of flooring installed. Every time I call the store for status on my stairs, I get someone very rude that will not give me any definitive information about my stair treads. The last "customer service" person I spoke with told me "I need to wait just like everyone else". Will never buy anything from this store again. read more

Purchased Nucore flooring at the end of April and tried to return one unopened box today (June 17). First we were told it was past 90 days - a blatant lie. Next we were told they don't carry Nucore anymore - another lie. And finally we were told the color was discontinued. How stupid could be possibly be to order extra?? When we picked up the flooring I asked about returns and was told we could return any unopened boxes. I called customer service and was told that the color has not been discontinued in Paramus, so I asked if they ship between stores. Apparently they do if the store needs material, but they won't ship material being returned. VERY DISAPPOINTED. This was our second purchase from them - there will not be another. read more

Where do I begin! I initially purchased nearly $6k worth of merchandise and the following employees were super helpful in my shopping experience Ron, Jessica, Eric and Sheldon! Thank you guys for your hard work! On the downside I received assistance from Paul who didn't seem interested in helping me out, unsure if it was he didn't know how to help me or he was intoxicated (he had a very strong smell of alcohol coming from him)). I purchased nearly $4k worth of flooring which was later reduced in price after I purchased it. I came in for a price adjustment as the price had literally dropped an hour after my purchase. I never took the merchandise when i purchased it so it was still in the warehouse, which could've made the price adjustment easier. I was told by Justin, the operations manager that he could adjust the price because it was too much money. The flooring priced at $1.58 per sq ft was reduced to .98 per sq. Ft which would've saved me over $1,400. He gave me a 1800 number and said they may be able to honor the price adjustment but he couldn't in the store. I called the 1800 only to be told that there was nothing they could do and wasn't sure why Justin told me to call. I ended up returning all 121 boxes of hardwood flooring and purchasing it from the Levittown store at .98 per square foot saving me $1,500. This experience was a huge inconvenience, and I'm very disappointed in the service and the cavalier attitude expressed by the operations a manager! I truly hate home repair shopping, but my husband loves it. However, I thoroughly enjoyed shopping here tonight with my husband thanks to a wonderful representative named DEB. She was so sweet and helpful and gave us great advice on how much tile to buy, ways to make our shower stand out with medallions, and things to think about like grout color and PEI. I had no idea what these things were but after talking to Deb, I feel included and the want to thank her for taking time to explain things to 2 home improvement newbies. In one word, awesome! I ordered online from Floor & Decor, and I drove out to their Moorestown location thinking it was just a pickup warehouse. Boy, was I wrong! It's a full retail store. After three hours browsing the aisles, I ended up changing 90% of my order. It makes such a massive difference to see tiles in person, feel them, see them with various grout colors, etc. The store itself is nice, open, and you can pull product yourself without any help. The store gets a bad rap for not having enough staff. I literally spent three hours there and I was asked on numerous occasions if I needed help. There were certainly times when I didn't see anyone around, but honestly, unless you're trying to get an opinion on design, there's very little that you'll need help with. The store is designed to be self-guided. Prices and options are solid, so I don't see a problem with it. read more

Good selection, although not the lowest prices. Service was good. But, they don't deliver, so you have to pick up everything yourself. They recommended an installer, "Showcase Flooring", who were very overpriced and didn't do a very good job. Not very professional. Also, the store is called Floor & Decor, but they don't sell carpet, so it's not all types of flooring. And, Decor is limited to only kitchen and bath. read more

Just a heads up this is a long review. I've been in this store about three or four times now and my assumption is that they are understaffed as well as under-trained. I ended up purchasing 1100 sqft of nucore flooring after being told by about 3 or 4 different employees that it was 100% waterproof, scratch proof, has a lifetime residential warranty and demonstrated by rubbing their keys on the section of floor to show its resistance. I spent a good portion on a Sunday installing the floor in my kitchen and as soon i rolled my refrigerator across it (on top pf cardboard) guess what happened.... scratches all over. Not just little scratches that some can live with I'm talking extremely noticeable scratches. I went in to talk to a manager and when I told him how the product was sold to me by multiple employees he looks me right in the face and say well not even concrete is scratch proof.... than retrain every employee in the store on how to properly sell a product. The manager than called over a "nucore specialist" again and said that we are having a scratch issue with it and without even saying two words to me and took the piece i brought back to the store with me and defaulted to their failed selling technique of running his keys on it but noticed how softly he ran it across the floor. I than ran my keys on there and scratched up vinyl and they just looked at me like i had three heads. Ultimately they agreed to take back the entire order when i went into the store sunday 12/17/17 so I guess I will see if they still decide to honor that today 12/18/17 which is the day they told me to "return all the product including the damaged and open boxes". read more

Very disappointed in dealing with the Moorestown F&D. Lost a great deal of time on the project due to F&D lengthy delays. It appears that no one including the Managers know what's going on. We paid extra to have tiles overnighted from a New Jersey location, 4 weeks 6 visits and 30+ phone calls later I am still on hold as they are trying to figure out what's going on. Every time I call I get a different explanation (Excuse). It reminds me of the "Gang that couldn't shoot straight" Update.....We are now being told we should know something later today!!!!!!! read more

Wouldn't let us order tiles over the phone, and when we accepted and agreed to come in and buy our tiles provided they could confirm our choice was in stock, they wouldn't do that either. Save yourself the trouble and go to Avalon. Avalon will price match and they are far more willing to earn your business. read more

Awful place to get work done through. They work with a private contracting service called "Installation Made Easy". We had an estimate for a tiny bathroom and was priced for a ridiculous amount. He said even though it was tiny he was going to charge us for a "full days worth of work". I would prefer working through Home Depot, Lowes, or Avalon Flooring in Cherry Hill before I look in Floor and Decor again. We also had to hunt any salesperson to help us, since it seemed as if they were hiding from the customers; none to be found throughout the large building. read more

I am following up on my last review. I wrote a letter to the GM and Corporate expressing the issues and concerns I encountered with the customer service and deception when I purchsed flooring. I did receive a telephone call from the GM expressing his apologizes and he indicated at least one of the managers was addressed. He seemed genuinely sincere and concerned with the service I experienced and the order fiasco. I have already purchased my materials at another store...and I am already in receipt of the flooring. I am not certain I would purchase here in the future, but it was a very professional, sincere and friendly response from the GM Dave and for that I am grateful. read more

First off I just want to say how helpful the whole staff was in assisting my wife and me. It's hard enough to remodel a home but when your out of state it makes the job even more difficult and challenging. The salesperson Craig that assisted us was very patient and attentive. Drew who is the manager there was very accommodating and patient with us especially since we have been going back and forth from Florida during this whole project. I want to give a special thanks to Juan the warehouse manager to help coordinate this whole project and to go the extra mile to make sure we were happy with all the different products we picked. It didn't matter what our request were with all the different travertine tile choices Juan took the time to pull crate after crate down for us until we were satisfied with we choose. Juan's knowledge was quite expansive from the proper way of honing the travertine tile to the installation of the laminate flooring to butt up against the travertine tile was very helpful. Not only was the entire staff extremely helpful but the choices the Moorestown store had compared to other stores both in the surrounding area and the stores we looked at in South Florida failed compared to the Moorestown store. We will definitely be going back to the Moorestown store in the future for any other projects we tackle. read more

I'm a contractor and frequent supply houses regularly. This place has a great selection but the customer service is among the worst. I have always had to wait over an hour to have my materials brought out. This isn't due to them being busy. Often times there is only one or two other people waiting. The counter is typically left unstaffed and the loading crews can be regularly seen hiding from their obligations. Terribly mismanaged. I find myself recommending my clients to other supply houses for this very reason. Would give one star but to be fair the selection saves this place read more

Very unhappy with the customer service I received from this location. 3 phone calls and representatives that just put you on hold without actually waiting for you to respond. Then when finally get to ask a question they put you on hold again, which for me became 15mins with a total hold time over 3 calls of almost 30mins just to get a "no we don't have it" answer. The staff was very horrible with us they didn't even look to help us in anyway. We waited for almost 2hours just trying to get our supplies and they acted like we didn't make any order. The workers are very lazy and treated us with disrespect. And our order was on the forklift and they didn't bring it out when we were told the order would be ready at 7am. It is now almost 9am, this type of stuff is unexplainable. Please save your time and don't order anything from this spot. read more
