We wanted to buy them but couldn't fit them in our car and asked if we could come pick them up later. An employer offered to drop them off for us later in the day as he had a truck. I was amazed by his generosity. We were given a percentage off of the clearance price for our items and a couple hours later our furniture was dropped off at our house. We tried to give the employee money but he would not take it. This kind good deed really made us feel welcome in this city. So glad we moved here, and can't wait to continue to be a customer.

Their selection of tapes is very good and the store was very clean and well lit. I brought my paper coupon with me to be able to take advantage of my discount...their system is not very user friendly regarding the combination of paper coupons to digital coupons on the app...if you did not bring your paper coupon, chances are that the coupon might not be loaded on the app, so be warned... That is true, not only about this particular store, but any Ace Hardware store.

We were redoing a bathroom and gathering quotes and Peter at World of Kitchens was recommended by…read morenumerous neighbors. Peter checked out our bathroom and took notes and measurements but unbeknown to us, was not a contractor, just a supplier. He could not comment on our proposed bathroom layout changes or whether it would be possible to move plumbing or how big our shower should be. Before he left he gave us a number of a plumber and told us to contact him and see what he thought about our plumbing rearrangement. We expected that after this plumber came out (given prior notice by Peter that we were calling), he and Peter would work up a proposal with a price. We had a short time frame to work in and he was the last quote we were waiting on. We eventually got hold of the plumber who had no idea what we were calling about and turned out was booked for another month anyway. We then called Peter and he said oh, try this other friend (we thought another plumber) and clearly did not intend to propose anything but we should come down and look at vanities. At that point we were ready to give up and go with one of the other quotes. We were able to get a hold of this 2nd "plumber" who turned out was a contractor and also was not aware we were going to call but agreed to come out. The pro of the story was we found a great contractor and since we had found him via Peter, we felt obliged to buy some items from him. We went to the store and well, I guess I was expecting kitchen AND bathroom stuff but it was solely kitchen stuff. The only item we could get from there was a vanity and medicine cabinet and we'd have to go somewhere else to get the counter top and they'd be able to put it all together. The cabinets were not cheap (I didn't expect them to be) but we figured, we'll just buy this one thing from the guy and that's it. Of course the items would take 4 wks to arrive so we had to rush. At this point we were toying with the idea of a new layout that would affect the size of our vanity and it all depended on our plumbing which of course, was hidden in the walls and floor. Peter let us know the order cutoff was Fri (this was Sun) so if we could get him an order by then, we should have the vanity in time as to not stall the job. Our poor contractor rushed over, leaving another job, to come and assess the situation and do demo work. He spent 2.5 days tearing apart the bathroom and had his plumber come after work hours to decide if we could make this new layout happen. In the end it was a dud so we let Peter know via email on Thurs we were sticking with the original size vanity. Well no response from Peter and now Fri had passed so on Sat, we contacted Peter who says oh! I took Fri off for my son's birthday and have no access to email at home. UMMMMMMM......... what??? Even our contractor was flabbergasted like why did I bust my a** if it wasn't going to matter. Peter assured us though he would get the order in and it would still come in time.... So.... not sure what the deal was about the cutoff.... didn't we just extend our time frame another week? We went down to the store to finalize the paperwork (once again, me thinking we just have to buy this from him and that's it). We arrive and look over the numbers. He gives us the card for a granite place to pick out our vanity top. And oh, by the way, the medicine cabinet doesn't come with a mirror. So when that comes in take it to Mr XYZ and he will measure and fit it and that will take another week and that price is not included and I'm not sure how much extra that will be. OH, and I need a check for the deposit, did I forget to mention that? At least he offered to pick up the check from us. We left and I was not happy to be paying $$$$$ and having to wait so long for items to arrive and run around and get mirrors from one place and granite from another and extend our time frame. In the end we canceled our order (big weight lifted off my shoulder!) and bought all our stuff from Lowe's and Amazon which we love and was way cheaper. I'm not sure how much of a "review" this is. He is a nice enough guy and he did come out probably knowing we would only buy one cabinet. I just did not feel comfortable giving him my business with all these little nuances popping up.

I was also really impressed with the amount of products they had on display at their various stores. Kohler seems to be the favorite but they do carry my personal favorite Rohl/Riobel :) The first time I picked up a faucet I nearly dropped it as i was expecting it to be a pound or two like the ones at Home Depot, but it was closer to 10 or more pounds and i was informed that they are all brass not mixed metal or plastic. I worked at the uxbridge location for about 5 months and left on great terms as they are all great people. Slightly understaffed but not more than industry norm they definitely took great care of me as an employee and as it would be nice if they were paying me to say good things but I wouldn't take it even if that was offered but genuinely they are good people and seem to have something for everyone and a level of service for anyone. The prices are more than Home Depot but you won't be back to replace you faucet in a year unless there's some factory defect. I would say it's a fantastic opportunity for just about anyone. I just wasn't a great fit but more me problem than them and they treated with respect and care, which I greatly appreciate. The benefits were pretty awesome compared to job's previous and the other staff was closer to a family environment than a corporate nightmare. The closest comparison I have is Dunder Mifflin from the office. If you need plumbing products or even flooring they appear to have just about everything to do your bathroom over other than the drywall but tile they got if you're feeling that boujee. Went to warehouse in Uxbridge to pick up one box of tile. They advertise warehouse is open till…read morenoon on Saturday. Got there at 11:54 and they said, "sorry, everything is already locked up ." There were 3 workers just standing there waiting for the clock to strike 12 so they could leave. After spending 20k on cabinets and counters they could care less that that last box of tile would finish the project. Now a weekend gone to waste. Don't time your project on their advertised hours because they don't honor them. Will take my next kitchen install elsewhere. Lauren is great though.

This feedback is about the poor service we received at the Milford, MA location. This store does…read morenot stand by it's products. We purchased a gallon of paint to paint a room. We ran out of paint partway through the job and went back to the store and purchased another gallon, same color. As the paint from the second gallon was drying we quickly became aware that the paint color was a about two shades darker with the second can. I brought the can back to the store and was told they wouldn't do anything about it until I brought both cans in together. Fortunately the first can had a small amount of paint left, so we returned to the store. They examined the paint and said they couldn't see a difference so the only option the manager offered was for us to purchase another gallon. He then stated we must not of stirred the paint and did not seem to believe us when we assured him we had stirred it. I invited the manager to come to my home to see the difference in color but he refused. After some 'discussion' he said he would arrange for a sales person to come out to see the paint on the wall. I also asked for his district manager's name and phone number.. When I returned home I went online to their corporate website and navigated to a phone number where I could speak with someone to make a complaint. She researched the appropriate person, which was the same 'Jason' the store had given me. She took notes of my complaint and promised to email him directly and said I would hear back from him. At this point about three weeks have passed and I have not heard a word from this 'Jason' and I also have not been contacted by a sales person to come out to my home to see the difference in the color. 1. Sherwin-Williams did not stand by their product 2. The store manager implied that we had done something wrong by stating we must have not have stirred the paint. 3. The store manager lied to me when promising that a sales person would set up a time to see the differences in the room. 4. This 'Jason' never contacted me at all. This experience has left me with a very bitter taste in my mouth. I will never return to this store and also will advise my friends and family to not go there as well...
