This is the second time I've purchased from the Shrewsbury lumber liquidators, and as usual they far exceeded my expectations. I purchased about 1000 ft.² of flooring for my new addition, and the whole process was seamless. Aaron helped me choose the floor that would fit my space the best, and had a fresh pallet delivered the next day. He also helped me to pick all of the other extras I would need for the project, such as moldings, underlayment, etc.The price and quality was MUCH better than the big box stores. We've gotten the flyers in the mail for quite some time. Do they really have a deal or don't they. We ventured out to check it out. Most all of the wood is pretreated. You can get real "raw" wood but that is not the typical way to go these days. There is a small show room with a variety of samples to see the color and texture. There is a large warehouse where they keep general stock and if there is something more you need then they will special order it. Install is done by a third party but Lumber Liquidators backs up the work. The quote was a fair price and one worth really considering. This is the 2nd store I've gone to and they do put the savings into the wood by not having a fancy display room. I have bought flooring from them before (another location) and was very happy and would both buy and recommend them again. read more

Absolutely terrific customer service from Shrewsbury store manager Aron Collins and his team - all in the midst of coronavirus crisis! We are endlessly grateful for giving us a sense of normalcy and hope! We went with no expectations, but Aaron helped us find the perfect floor solution we did not think existed. We had Kahrs floors installed in the rest of the house a couple of years ago and the big TV room was put on hold as Kahrs discontinued their line shortly after we finished the house addition. We were looking for the floors to match, and we are more than happy with the look we achieved and quality of the product. The process with Lumber Liquidators was painless from the minute we walked into the store and to the day the contractors that LL sent to us finished their installation, cleaned up, and left us alone in the room that we could not recognize! Before we placed the order, the estimator came by and he was right on point with all the materials. Everything was arranged swiftly, fantastic communication throughout the process, hassle free white glove delivery of floors within a week and finishes got delivered by FEDEX in just three days. The installation appointment was set up for the upcoming Saturday and the contractors arrived by 8 am. Elizabeth from the office was keeping us updated on the status and she followed up post install with helpful tips. We also loved the cleaning floor kit that was a part of the package! Have to mention, there was no sales pressure put on us during the store visit, the guys gave us all discounts that were advertised without us asking for them, and then some more! We decided to pay our invoice in full to support the business in this difficult time, but there are some installment options for those who prefer to extend the payment period. I usually don't leave reviews but I was really impressed with how professional the staff at this store was. My project wasn't optional as I had a flood in my home that warranted demolition of two rooms and me relocating to a hotel until it was over. Another vendor couldn't get project started for over two months. LL Flooring had the project measured within 5 days, product delivered within another week, and fully completed in under 3! And that was working around the typical late season Nor'Easter here in MA. I LOVE IT! I went with Duravana luxury vinyl planks (Sydney Harbour Oak) throughout my house except kitchen and bath and it looks great!! The installers from BM Flooring did an exceptional job as well. I would suggest not walking in before it's completely finished if your mindset on construction dust isn't good. I did. Big mistake. But at the end of the project, they cleaned up so well, it was remarkable. Anyway, it was only a two day project once started and I'm back home and love it!! read more

I hired L L Flooring to install a new kitchen floor. The floor did come out good, but they botched the baseboards. They claimed I never had them in the order. I stated I spoke to them on the phone and confirmed with the employees when picking up the flooring equipment. They said there was no invoice for the baseboards. Instead, they installed ugly trim that I never agreed to. After months of headaches and phone calls They agreed to send over the baseboards (completely uncut). They told me they would give me $200 towards the cost of installation of them if I signed a form agreeing that I was happy with the order (I did not sign this). Their customer service representative Joseph is the most disrespectful person I have spoken to. I would like them to finish this, but I doubt they will be professional and finish the job they started. Stay far away they are only out for themselves. 1 star is generous. read more

I have done business with Lumber Liquidators on two occasions now. I was very happy with the flooring the first time. The guys were very helpful, the product was great and moderately easy to install. It looked great. Then we had s flood and needed to replace the flooring since it was laminate wood floors. Because of our experience the first time it was a no brainer. We purchased new vinyl flooring and this time we opted for them to install it. By them I mean the subcontractor they employ. Well the subcontractors apparently didn't read the work order because they did not install the vapor barrier - which negates the guarantee on the flooring. I happened to check in on progress and saw this. The floor installers were very nice and called their office. Then the fun began. The office was not happy that they were going to need to take up and reinstall the flooring. After much back and forth with LL, they finally reinstalled the flooring they had installed and finished the next apartment as well. That alone was enough to say BUYER BEWARE. The installation contractors do not knowhow to install the floor properly. I wonder how many have been done wrong? Then I started getting a bill for service that I did not authorize. now 9 months later I find out from the credit card company that in response to my disputes of the charge, that LL says that I purchased more installation and so they expect me to pay for charges I didn't make. Because LL says I made more. That I didn't. My take is the installer low balled the estimate, was mad that they were "found out" and needed to do more work than they bargained for, and coerced LL to pay them more for a contracted job. And then LL added it to my bill. I have again opened a dispute. I am not paying for something I already paid for. Period. read more

Lumber liquidators has been great so far. We wanted to change or carpet in our family room, and get hardwood floors and match the rest of the hardwood in the home buy sanding and staining. The logistics and cost of this effort became too daunting, so we visited the LL Shrewsbury store and were helped by Jennifer. She was amazing, patiently guiding us through the process, helping us with selection, and explaining all of the steps. When we found a mistake in the order she addressed it quickly and politely. Last one...Finally was able to touch base with Sandra and I will say at least she listened and was somewhat fair with me. I was refunded, as a good will offering, 1/2 of the money I was out due to the extension of the job time. I feel I should have been entitled to more but some is better than none and greed is always attached to karma. I have a great looking floor at the end of the day and remember, this was about the length of time and crappy installers, not the actual product. HOPEFULLY, the floor holds up and stays looking like it does now for years to come. Thank you Sandra for assisting me and taking care of your customer. I will use LL again but I will not use this location due to the lack of ownership of this issue in the first place by them and the "generous" insult of $100 by the installation manager there. The store hires these installers but at the end of the day, the store owns the job, or at least should. Maybe some retraining here and remind the employees why they have jobs there..because of customers. One and done customers are fine until you run out. You need repeat business for sustainability...teach the staff here that and you will need to double that stores size due to demand. read more

We were in desperate search of the Pewter Oak 8mm laminate flooring. This store had a large stock of it so we drove the 4 hours to pick it up. We got so caught up in the excitement of getting the flooring that we didn't check the boxes as LL loaded them into our car. We got home only to find out that they had accidently loaded the wrong flooring into our car. We called the store the next morning and Aaron, the store manager, was AMAZING. We explained the situation and without us even asking he said that they would deliver the correct flooring and haul back the wrong one, the next day. Half an hour later we got a call that he could come the same day and would be there in a few hours. We live in a very rural area and he had no problem finding us. He arrived within a few hours, was extremely pleasant, and even offered some advice for an area of concern of ours prior to us laying the flooring. We also realized that we needed another roll of underlayment and Aaron was more than happy to bring that along to us and do the transaction via the phone. So while a mistake was made, LL---specifically Aaron C., manager, did everything to make it right!!!! I would highly recommend this store location as they have been the most accommodating and informative of all the store we have visited. I would ask for Aaron. read more

If I could have given these guys zero stars I would have. We went to look at low cost flooring in the showroom to see what it looks like in person and decided that it was not what we wanted. Since we were working with a budget we were going to wait on doing all hardwood flooring. Instead the salesman talked us into going with the next grade up, or so we thought. When we got it home it was exactly what we didn't want and looked just like the lower grade sample in the store. The higher grade sample on display in the store looked nothing like what we got. At least 30 % of the 1st box we opened was horrible. When I called the store the next day Chris the Manager said the salesman was up-selling us, but they refused to admit it was shady and if we wanted to return it we could, with a 20% restocking fee. So here we were stuck with flooring we would never put in our house. Chris the manager told my fiancé (when he called to try to reason with them, after I got nowhere) he could upgrade the flooring to the Select style for less than the restocking fee. We had to bring the original flooring 900 SQ FT back to the store. My feeling on this is that we were scammed, sold us bad flooring knowing we won't use it and then make us choose between spending another $800 on decent flooring or getting stiffed on 20% restock fee of $790. I contacted the back office and they refused to help us. DO NOT USE LUMBER LIQUIDATORS!! read more
