Piss poor management and poor employee training..... I called with a specific sku number straight from their website. Employee told me they had item in stock. Just got home from picking up tile that was on hold from the Brandon store. We also needed an additional 18 boxes which neither Brandon or Tampa had. Jeremy in Pro Services was very helpful to us. He called the Brandon store for us checking the dye lot, he then called the Sanford store to see if they had the tile and again made sure the dye lot was the same. I have to say all the staff in this store were much more helpful than the staff in Brandon. So glad we went there. read more

After struggling with the people who can only speak the English that is on their prepared script that handles their credit department, I was able to speak directly with 2 different American soil F&D reps. WHEN WILL I GET MY TILES??????? DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER ONLINE BASED ON THE INVENTORY!!! All orders require "visual confirmation". I placed an order online for 400 tiles to be picked up at this location because the store had it "in stock". The next day when I called them to verify my order was ready they told me that there were only 130 tiles in stock and that I should have called them first. Next, I'm told they'll arrive in a week. I call back in a week and am told they will arrive in two weeks. Floor and Decor- SHAME ON YOU!!! I bought from you because you listed online that you had a product in stock. My husband and I are home flippers and get 90% of our products from this location...The staff here are so great and helpful and very friendly...never had an issue with purchases or returns except for recently....I ordered 3 Bathroom Vanities that were suppose to arrive in 5-10 days and 3 weeks later still nothing and no one seemed to know why??? I was able to get a manager named Robert on the line and he was able to make miracles happen!! Called me back very promptly and owned up to the problem and got them shipped and on the way! Went to Floor & Décor looking for tile and flooring for a bathroom remodel. While walking around in a daze (too many choices and I didn't know exactly what I wanted anyway), Yoyo, although busy with go backs, asked if I needed help. She then spent the next almost two hours helping me pick out tile, making recommendations on type to use, called two other stores to find more of the tile I wanted since they didn't have enough, etc, etc. She was extremely pleasant and acted as though she truly WAS happy to help me. Omg! They have the worst customer service! The products are great so far but trying to get help is challenging and then paying is like the worst experience. If u get up front or run into Gigi just turn the opposite direction or wait for another register. It's like talking to the wall. She acts like she is annoyed that she has to ring up ur items. Oh, and if u should need a manager. Avoid Rei.. I would explain but it's not worth the time. It's a same the CS sucks. They could easily staff the place with better employees. Went to pick up tile I ordered online, customer service was lacking. The only person that truly was helpful was the little girl processing the order in the back. The two guys that brought out the tile just set it behind the car on a pallet and disappeared, the girl actually came out with a box cutter to open and we lifted everything in the car ourselves...not saying we shouldn't help but they could have been more helpful in loading it into the car... read more

I had reserved a butcher block worktop online and went to the store to pick it up. No one earning more than minimum wage was anywhere near the front end of the store. I was told by a completely disinterested cashier that I needed to go to the back of the store. There I was told to go to the front of the store. I went back to the front of the store and the cashier could not help me. She entered my phone number into the computer and my name and address were on her screen, but she somehow was completely unable to figure out what I was there for. I know many people have had glorious experiences at this store, however, maybe that was at a busier time, when people who gave a crap were on duty up front. read more

Carrying a 16lbs baby in a car seat made this even more annoying. Cashier said, sorry only two people here today... but I counted at least 10 walking around the store aimlessly, so clearly he was just being a POS smartass. So, you've got 10 people walking around chatting it up, no carts in the store, and one slow cashier who makes it a point to be a smartass... makes it such a pleasant place to shop. My husband and I visited the pro service desk at this location for help finding the tiles used in our new home. Yani was SO helpful. The tile we needed had been discontinued and she went above and beyond to locate the tiles at a different location. She continued to help even after we left the store, so that we didn't have to wait there, and called us about 30 min later with an update. She left a note with her co-worker, Matt, so that he could help us order the tiles when we returned. Matt was also super helpful! What a nightmare. Went looking for vynil plank. 600sq ft and a different pattern of 100 sq ft. When we inquired where it was we was greatest by a young man pointing saying under the sign. He couldn't be bothered to walk us over and ask if we have any questions. We had to chase another employee down and they were of no help either. Then we asked about tile for a shower wall. Again with the pointing and a "over there". Over where we asked and was told against the back wall. Terrible customer service but it gets worse. We are told their are clearance items in the front of the store. We ask a lady about the items and again points and says over there. OVER WHERE??? I wish you would train your staff to SHOW the customer where an item is instead of pointing to a large general area. We found a flooring we wanted. About $2500 total. No one seemed to care and did not appear to us they wanted to pull order. We left and went to Lumber Liquidators and bought our flooring. I doubt you care read more

We purchased vinyl plank flooring for our townhome, and used the installation service F&D recommended--INSTALLATION MADE EASY. The installation company provided an estimate of the materials required which was ordered from F&D. The materials estimate was not what had been shown at F&D, and the overall installation was not acceptable requiring a call back. The call-back service was marginally acceptable. We would not recommend INSTALLATION MADE EASY. read more

Yes, we are fans and now regard this the best tile source in Tampa. It is also very convenient for us in the former location of K-Mart at Columbus and Dale Mabry, next to the new Ashley furniture....and if you want to comparison shop, there are probably more than 5 tile sources within a mile and we have checked them all. This is their grand opening with food, drawings, entertainment, etc. and some steep discounts. They also sent out an "occupant" Flyer with a $25 discount which we used happily. They do not offer a veterans discount but they shop competitors to insure their prices are lower....and they have the widest selection of at least 6 other tile stores we have seen, also offering lots of tile-related tools, accessories, hardware and appliances, such as sinks and vanities. It was not busy when we arrived this morning and we were immediately greeted and helped by an experienced sales rep from the Sarasota store and who had practical hands-on tile and construction experience. So she knew where to find all their goods and discuss the options, bargains and price/quality trade-offs. And fortunately we found some large and small tile selections similar to what we tentatively selected at Tile OUtlets...and at a lower price. The only thing we could not find was screws made for concrete backer board. After we made out selections, our sales lady went and pulled all our purchases, and then she and another staffer helped load about a half-ton of materials in my pickup....noting they will also hold for later pickup by purchaser or tile crew. They have a liberal return policy and will accept less than full cases. So we could safely overestimate our needed square footage without fear of either getting stuck with unneeded tiles or rushing back in the middle of the job. We strongly recommend. read more

After some deep research and going to many other stores. We stepped into this location and finally got to view many options at reasonable price points. Local manager was extremely helpful and informative. I purchased a palette of wood like floor tiles for my whole condo. Also subway tiles for the bathroom. As well of grout for both purchases. Everything was as expected. I feel confidently this is the go to place when you are seeking different renovation options. Delightful staff all around. No complaints. Best part was they offer refunds for extra unopened materials up to 90 days after purchase. Extremely beneficial. read more

Absolutely superior service that I received today! The store closest to me was out of the shower tile I needed. I called the Store on Dale Mabry and Columbus in Tampa. Sheldon answered the phone and I asked him to check inventory. He said they had it and he would hold it in back for me. When I got to the store, not only was the tile up front waiting for me, but Sheldon was there within two minutes to help me find matching floor tile and pull the setting materials I needed. He did all this with his arm in cast from a broken thumb! A big thank you for making my shopping experience very easy! Sheldon was very knowledgeable, knew what to recommend and truly a great guy to with. Extremely helpful when other than selecting the actual tile, I would have been lost. I am a do-it-yourselfer and I'm tackling the master shower. I picked my tile at Floor & Decor and got GREAT help from Cecelia (sp?) on the sales floor. What I didn't know until she told me was that they would store my order up to 14 days. That really helps when you drive a crossover SUV! Cecelia got my order into the system quickly and then handed me off to Kim who rang me up. She was delightful and helpful as well. After I paid, the ladies picked 1/3 of the order (what I could safely drive home) and met me out front. Great job guys! Thanks for the assistance! read more

Worst customer service I've had from a business that is currently operating. Sales person was helpful which is the only reason I'm giving it 2 stars. Their "storage" option when buying is a joke. Picked up half my $1900+ order on day of purchase and "stored" the rest. When I went to pick up a few days later, after calling in the morning I need to add, there wasn't enough tile in the store to fill my order. Instead of a refund, I was told to hold off because there was 2 pallets coming in that Thursday or Friday and my qty would be saved. Called the next Monday, was told it would be ready, and got to the store, you guessed it, no tile! Was sent to the Clearwater store in which I will be rating them low as well for customer service. Overall horrible experience with 2 F&D stores. Do NOT recommend!!!. read more

Amazing prices and tile but the customer service is HORRIBLE!! One of the women managers is just plain mean and rude. That attitude seems to flow down to the rest of the staff. There are few designers that are friendly and know where things are. I found one named Maria and she was great. Ordered tile and then came back a few days later to pick it up in the back and there was a line of trucks waiting to pick up tile. The girl in the back counter didn't even acknowledge that I was at the counter until I asked if the counter was open. Then she just took my receipt and asked me where my car was parked. I said in right here and she asked what slot. I didn't realize the parking spots were numbered and she didn't like that. The tile came out slow and I waited for over 40 minutes. The poor guys working coming out of the warehouse seemed to be behind but worked hard. Just unorganized so probably management. But definitely a place that Contractors and designers go for well priced tile. I went to the Brandon store for a tile that this store didn't have and the staff was totally different and the atmosphere was better. They were Very friendly and knowledgeable. read more
