Thank you to Mike and Sean, Service desk Pro for finding our tile. We went to another Floor and Decor and the tile we wanted was back ordered and the other store only checked AZ stores for tile. Nothing showed up on their end. So we had to choose another tile, which we weren't thrilled with but would hAve used. Decided to go look again at the Priest store and we're just about to leave disappointed. When Mike stopped us and we told him our situation, and he said, let's go talk to Sean and see if he could find some. He checked online, called som people to make sure and then confirmed, nothing in AZ. He suggested trying out of state, but we would have pay delivery fee. We said go for it. He found enough tile in Sacramento. We were ecstatic to say the least. We are paying a little more for delivery, but in the end we got the tile we wanted. I'm super late at updating this review but better late than never! A few days after writing my original review I was contacted by a rep of F&D asking that I get in touch to rectify my problem. Not only did they deliver my missing palate, they gave us extra tiles! I will check out F&D before starting our next home improvement but I'll make sure to take my complete order the 1st time. read more

So I very rarely post, but if you go to the Floor and Decor in Tempe make sure you ask for TJ. Honestly one of the most helpful people. He literally saved me a bunch of time and headaches I would have had if I was to follow the advice of one of his co-workers. A++ customer service. read more

Went here for the first time and I was all excited when I came in. In defense of the store, I got there close to closing. They definitely were 100% focused on how to close and get customers out of there vs helping me. Seems like you should keep a register open for as long as needed to keep your late customers happy. read more

I was really impressed with associate Michelle. I was totally lost trying to look for specific items from floors to backsplashes and shower pans and surrounds. She walked me through everything and came up with several different designs schemes. She's really a designer that happens to know where to find the tile in floor and decor :-) read more

I am a novice, and am installing a ceramic plank wall in my house. Joe was awesome, and helped me throughout the process of tooling up, and suggested specific grouts, tools, and certain pitfalls I may experience without prior planning (one was measuring to ensure planks on both sides are cut to balance the room verses building from one side to another. Another was describing which type of grout to use for my specific job). He helped load my cart, and ensured I had someone load my car. I will even attend a class held there on Saturday at 2pm. We came last month to pick out materials and decided to pick them up today. However after looking at everything again I just wasn't in love with our original picks. We asked the resident designer, Tami, for her help and she saved the day! She was so patient even though I kept changing my mind. Customer service at this store is terrible. I bought one of their highest priced tiles expecting the best quality. When my contractor went to install the product it couldn't be laid correctly because all the tile was bowed at least 2mm. It delayed the project over a week and cost me additional money. When I went to return it they wouldn't give me any form of a discount even though they clearly new the product was incorrect. The management was rude and unhelpful. I would highly advise to buy product somewhere else read more

The guy who waiting on me can just suck it..I can't believe it..I called ahead from the Mesa store because they didn't have enough..he came to help and told me to put my mask way over my nose and he didn't have a proper mask on..I could see his facial hair ect..then he said that they had it but it depends on how long I want to wait for him to find the flooring and how many boxes I needed..I gave him the measurements and he definitely was not happy that I didn't know the number I needed..told me to pay for it and pull up to the door outside..he and another boy came out and told me to back up..I got out of my car to load it right away and he started complaining that this was a courtesy and he wasn't opening the back door..I was outside about to load it and he complained that I was smoking..I told him not to help me and get away from me..the other boy helped me and I didn't need help..I spent over 500 $ and drove 35 miles to get the flooring and was treated like dirt..feel like returning all of it and do business some other place..he really has a anger problem..never again read more

I wish I had a positive review but sadly this one isn't....The Tempe Store has over zealous, angry and very confrontational mask police!!! Stay away!!!! I am just beginning to remodel my entire house and need some design assistance. I had high hopes of a positive experience with Floor & Decor, and scheduled a consultation appointment Friday night for early Saturday morning. I was promptly greeted by a very nice and professional design consultant who gave me a chilled bottle of water, as we began to discuss my home remodel and ideas. However, not more than three minutes into our discussion, we were rudely interrupted by someone, who with out introducing himself, angrily ordered me to pull my mask over my nose or I would have to leave. I informed him that I have a medical condition and that my mouth was covered, but it was difficult for me to breathe if my nose was covered too. With absolutely zero empathy and a very crass and unprofessional scoff, he told me those were the rules and if I didn't like it I could leave. Needless to say, I was immediately put off as he came out of nowhere, didn't introduce himself, and did not ask me, but simply barked orders. To add insult to injury, he then basically sneered when I informed him of my medical condition. Because of this I asked to speak to his manager. I took a minute to compose myself and then resumed with my very kind and empathetic design consultant, who profusely apologized for the lack of professionalism that we both had just experienced. It is because of her professionalism and enthusiasm to assist me that I was able to quickly regroup and continue our discussion as before. Well, not more than a few minutes later, I was greeted by the manager who was also very professional and who recited store policy regarding their COVID-19 protocol. I understand this manager was conveying to me what was passed down to her and was just doing her job. What I didn't understand is why the rude, crass, unprofessional individual who had already ruined my experience by mocking my medical condition, was standing a few feet behind the manager snickering under his breath as the manager and I were discussing my options. This had me feeling insulted, ganged up on with my back against the wall and on the defensive. Needless to say the message, through actions that I both witnessed and experienced, tells me that Floor & Decor have an extremely low standard for customer service!! It is very sad that Floor & Decor allows a very unfriendly and unprofessional person to be their ambassador for new customers. I cannot say enough kind words about my design consultant who is awesome!!!! Unfortunately, because of this one truly lousy, angry and combative, mask marshall, who completely ruined my first experience with this store, I will not patronize Floor & Decor. Year ago my husband and I purchased 2500 square feet of out door travertine from floor and decor. It was a pleasure to work with this company then, and now when we had a minor renovation 5 years later, basically the Same out come. Today is the last time I spend my money in this store. Have been to this store in the past two weeks 4 times. I had to replace several Travertine floor tiles and this store had the closest match. Each visit was a waste of time. I did purchase what I needed but there is one 'standard procedure' that not only these four times I encountered but over the years it occurred on each visit. There are usually only two cashiers. But that does not mean they are always available to process payments. The cashiers are also 'customer service and returns'. They don't always stay behind the counter, they leave the register to go off in search of who knows what or why! As I entered the store I saw a customer at the first register and what made me take notice they had a large dog (or possibly a wolf). I did not stop but certainly recognized the beautiful animal. It took me about 15 to 20 minutes to find my travertine matches. When I got to the register, there were two cashiers each with a customer. The customer with the animal was still at the front cashier counter. The other cashier was having difficult trying to do a return and after about 5 minutes (since I got in line) he caught another employee passing by and asked him to take the return item and check the price. I was the fourth in line and now there were seven more people behind me. After the employee came back with the return item (another 5 minutes), the cashier was still floundering about the price of a small caulk tube (5 more minutes). I saw another employee near a phone and asked to have the manager please address the situation of customers wanting to spend their money, but were not able to do so. No manager appeared after at least the next 5 minutes wile I was still in line but the guy in front of me said go ahead since I was holding three 18" stone tiles. Of course, when I tried to pay for these items, the cashier again was floundering and after about another 5 minutes I was able to pay and leave. I think I now have sympathy for what is called 'road rage'! As an owner of a family retail business, first and foremost...take payment for items is priority number one! There is plenty of competition out there. Shop around! read more

Tons of in stock tile and wood flooring at great prices. And they do have at least one designer on hand at all times - so if you need help choosing/matching grout or tile or accents, just ask for the designer. Donna is on most days. And the others are just as helpful but I've forgot other designer names. Look, I do have to warn you that you will be waiting in line foooorrrevvver. I buy a lot of flooring here (we're remodelling homes), and the one thing I always ask for is a set of recliners at the check out to make the wait easier :). They did say they are redoing the store and changing the check out, so maybe it will be getting better soon? I gave it 5 stars despite the often long checkout wait because this place is cheap cheap cheap, with a wide selection and a ton of stuff in stock. I just finished giving a terrible review to Lumber Liquidators, and every complaint I have about LL is probably because I'm used to the great policies and actions of the store and employees of Floor and Decor. If you're looking for a really cool backsplash mosaic tile in glass or stone or a combination or even metal - they have it. Tons of ceramic. Tons of porcelain. And plenty of travertine, marble, etc. They even have a whole aisle now of wood-look tile, right between the tile section and the wood section. That's really popular right now, and I appreciate they have such a wide selection. Go there. read more

After an initial glitch with delivery (due to the manufacturer), we finally got the laminate floor we wanted for a great price. After a few days of trying to install it ourselves, we went back t the store and they recommended we contact Dan from Dan's Hardwood Flooring. Saturday we called Dan DeWeerdt from Dan's Hardwood Flooring. He came by on Sunday to give an estimate, showed up at 730 this morning and they were done with 374 sf of floor and baseboard installation by noon. Nice guys, and affordable. I went to all the big box stores as well as Lumber Liquidators before going to check out Floor and Decor which is a ways from me. I have nothing negative to say and happy to detail my experience. Looking for new flooring (laminate/wood flooring) after my house had a flood. I did like a few ones from Home Depot...but by the time I got back those items were sold out (online as well). Hard to believe but I guess I have great taste or something. Decided to check out the "Walmart of flooring" and not disappointed. Sure the staff seems to be like at Walmart which means they are nearly invisible if you want them to be but I was able to get help fairly quickly and kindly as well. What gets them the four star review is that the wood flooring I wanted at their Tempe store was sold out (I bought all the remaining stock, about 20 boxes) but I needed twice that amount. The service counter told me their Tucson store had some and I was told to call because their payment processing system does not allow you to pay over the phone. That is why I give them 4 stars and not 5 because it would have avoided me having to call their 800 number to make an order only to be told to that that order would be from the Tucson store anyways. Confusing and something they should fix. One should be able to simple call any nearby store, prepay for the item and be able to pick it up. This wasn't the case with them. I was however very satisfied with their call center because the order was $100 or so above my daily credit card limit and I was unable to make the full payment when the shipping costs were added. They kindly removed enough shipping costs that I could conclude the transaction and not only that but the call center customer service rep recognized me and made the process very easy when it could have been a major headache. If they can fix their current payment process, they deserve five stars and you can't beat the options and the fact that this place covers all your flooring needs. read more

I am so glad I found this place through Yelp. Thanks for all the reviews. We are remodeling a new home we purchased. After being disappointed with outrageous quotes from Lowes and Home Depot, we were so happy to find amazing deals on our marble and bamboo we ended up choosing for our project. Big thanks to Joe, Jason, Robert, and the sweet lady at the register, (Hispanic/short white hair, Becca?). Great prices and selections! (We also visited the Glendale location where customer service left much to be desired....Tempe is a better store. Even then, the product was available which was also convenient for us. Hopefully, their customer service improve at the Glendale location). FYI - We also tried Lumber Liquidators and they are way more expensive than Floor and Decor. Seriously great people who work here. A HUUUUGGGE shout out to DAN who was the bomb! We put travertine down in our casita bathroom ourselves and by giving us excellent advice and showing us great products, he saved us money. DAN spent lots of time with us and seemed to be genuinely interested in giving us the best advice at the best prices. They carry wonderful flooring at very affordable prices. I don't understand how anyone could give this place anything less than 5 stars. This is a do-it-yourselfer's candy store for flooring. Staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are fantastic, especially if you can work with their clearance items. They have a HUGE assortment of all kinds of tile, ceramic, porcelain, travertine, marble, wood look, and slate. All kinds of decorative borders, glass tiles, mosaics, pebble rock, and subway tiles. Experience started off well with them but quickly became apparent that their service quality is sub par. I received an order of 2300 sq ft of tile with the tools necessary to get the job done. While double checking that the entire order was there, I noticed that there were some china markers that were missing. I figured no big deal, $2.50 worth of supplies shouldn't be an issue. I called and they said that it was put on the truck. I let them know I didn't receive it. They said that it may have been lost in transit, but they weren't going to have it delivered to me because it was so small an item... I paid over $200.00 to have all my purchased items delivered and now you are going to leave a bad taste in my mouth over a $2.50 item? Secondly, with the tile, I made sure that all was going to be from the same dye batch as to make sure the tile would be the same color. I was assured that it would and they were going to have to pull from two stores to do so. This is where it makes me mad. They send me mixed dye lots and then try and destroy the part of the boxes that show the lot is not the same. I ordered from the K04 lot, but have crossed multiple (failed to be scratched out) dye lot K06 boxes. Very displeased with being lied to, then trying to cover up the lies by purposefully scratching/cutting out the proof of mixed lots. Should be ashamed. CAUTiON**** Bought 650 sq ft of laminate it was defective 2nd choice was defective installer sd couldn't garuntee installation because defective and it would chip off t MDF. 3rd choice was When I bought product I said sample chipped they sd no problem won't happen after installed.
