We had an issue with the flooring in our rental property after the previous tenants ended their lease. The laminate planks were bubbling up causing blemishes between planks. In addition, the base surface of the floor did not feel level causing loose planks, as if the floor was not secure when stepping on it. We had 5 days to remedy the flooring before the next tenant would move in. Floor Expo & Design came to our rescue. The installer Alex inspected our unit floors and determined that the flooring planks had a tight install with no room to expand, and that the flooring was not level. We met Mounir who was kind and calm to present us with options for flooring remediation. He was courteous and professional and was very trustworthy in his advice to us. We went from a high pile to low pile carpet, I enquired about new baseboards, they are the experts, they should have realized I did need different baseboards. Munier came to the house twice to measure. After searching a few months for a company to help us with several remodeling projects, we finally decided on Floor Expo. Our decision was largely based on price, availability of the product and if we thought we could trust them. Hayan helped us out from the beginning and was professional and responsive throughout the process. We had an idea in mind of what we wanted and we were not willing to move away from it, even when other companies told us it was too bold, Hayan just wanted ut to be happy with our decision. We decided on a beautiful Italian porcelain tile and new carpet throughout. The crews were professional, respectful and worked tirelessly on this project removing very thick saltillo tile throughout the main floor of my home as well as the entire back yard. This was no small feat and during some really hot days. Hayan also helped us get in touch with other service providers he recommended as necessary to complete our project (HVAC, cabinetry, etc). Hayan is a bit old fashioned so make sure you are ok with picking up the phone to have a real conversation and expect as many house visits as is necessary to get the job right. I had a sample of a color I was looking for and a price point. I was fine spending 10 for the wood and 5 for install. They were scheduled on Wednesday to install new carpet between 12-2pm. At 2:30 we called and found out that there morning job ran over- but they never called us to notify us of the delay. They rescheduled for 8 am on Thursday. No show. At 9 we began calling but only got voicemail. Showroom was to open at 10. We drove to the showroom only to have my daughter yelled at by the owner and make patronizing remarks. Installers finally showed at 10:30. Company has VERY customer service, is unreliable, unavailable for assistance and rude. I would not recommend using them again. read more

Ahmad from Floor Expo was our advisor throughout, listening to what we wanted but offering recommendations when we were going off track.
