If you've ever done any remodeling, you know what a nightmare it can be- flaky contractors, shoddy workmanship, poor communication, attitude... While we did have lots and lots of these issues with our upstairs flooring company (I'll spare you the gory details), Bella stepped in and saved the day. Luckily, we had hired Bella to do a rather small job but quickly fell in love with their project manager, Carlos. Not only did we have them take over the rest of the flooring installation, but my husband and I loved their work so much and enjoyed all of our interactions with them, that we just kept adding to our remodel! To be more specific: Bella was dependable and prompt- Carlos texted me every single night to give me their ETA for the following day and his workers were here on time and without fail. Bella communicated clearly- all work was written down and discussed and any hiccups (there will always be hiccups!) were addressed quickly and resolved (Carlos always said, "There are no problems, only solutions"). Bella was detail oriented and took pride in their work- Luis (who did all our cabinets) is a rare master craftsman. And although this doesn't seem all that important, the entire Bella family was just nice- like really, genuinely nice and it made trying to live through a remodel with a cat, a dog, and an unhappy twenty-something year old much more bearable. I worked with designer Marina Thomas to rehab my rental home. She assisted with tile flooring selection, bathroom cabinets and an entire new kitchen!. She respected my budget for a rental home. Although I had my own contractor, I did use Bella's services to install the entire kitchen and both bathroom cabinets. Carlos was the lead on this team and he diligently kept me posted of their progress and schedule. Luis was the main installer and answered any questions I had. We used Bella Kitchen and Bath in 2012 for a bathroom vanity/mirror project and were so impressed with the customer service and quality of their materials and workmanship, that we decided to use them again. We replaced the 2012 vanity this year (we passed it to our daughter to use in her condo despite it still being in great condition) with a more updated, modern cabinet and countertop (we purchased both from Bella) that we absolutely love! GREAT experience..... I received 4 different vendor bids for a master walkin shower remodel. There was never any pressure from the sales team (Jason) to get the project started. Bella provided a through breakdown of the project description and cost which was extremely helpful. I wanted to be a part of the project so I purchased the floor and wall tile and fixtures on my own. This isn't as much a review of Bella as a whole but a review in the hopes that the owner would see this and really review his staff and how they present themselves to others. I went in to Bella Kitchen because I wanted to see what they could offer in comparison to the big box stores and larger kitchen remodeling providers. I really wanted to support a smaller, local business. My extended family operated a very small mom and pops shop in Huntington Beach for over 40 years and we have always felt it honorable to support the little guys. When we entered the shop had no other customers. After several minutes of looking around we were greeted by Michelle from her desk. The minute she got up and near us we were hit with the smell of a heavy pack of Marlbro cigs! It was so pungent and off putting. To put it plainly she reeked. Her clothes and breath were intolerable. Like most of us I grew up with heavy smokers. They eventually went to smokeless vaping or quit. In this day and age it was definitely a blast to the past to smell that nasty, old smoker smell. Can't say I enjoyed it at all. She talked about how big her home is and how her kitchen remodel cost well over $130,000! That didn't sell me either. Something about a heavy smoker on the job who doesn't even respect the potential customer enough to freshen up made me walk out. It was nauseating. While I wanted to give Bella a shot I went straight to a bigger store where the employees don't take their last puff while walking up to you. You can talk and talk about how fancy you are and how big of a house you have but when you can't even pop a mint, I'm gone... read more

We decided to remodel our 1970s master bedroom, master bathroom, and our hall bathroom. This was our first remodel, and we did not know what to expect. Our journey started when we walked into the Bella storefront, and we met Michelle. Immediately we felt comfortable with Michelle, and she took the time with us to help us decide on the look of our remodel. The owner Mark and Michelle then sat with us on two occasions to explain the details of our remodel. The remodel took about 7 weeks, and Carlos - the Project Manager - keep the project on schedule. Its been a couple.ofnyears now since we had our master bathroom done by them and it looks great until we started noticing details on the tiles that were cut. All tile cuts were not cut and smoothen out before installations. Allnthe tile cuts were left with ridged edges. Wish i caught this earlier. Will never do business with Bella again. read more

We had a very good experience with Bella for our renovation of two bathrooms and flooring. Communication was stellar and the tile work in our bathrooms was excellent. The tile guy took pride in his work and didn't rush and always left the job site clean. Communication is a big deal to us and it was top notch by Carlos the project manager, and also by the storefront. When items needed attention, he was prompt to fix them. (We passed on another bid due to poor communication.) There were workers at our home pretty much every day with no lag time and the job was completed in 6 weeks. Jason from the storefront was great helping us pick out tile and arranging all the work. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars was due to a few things that could use some improvement. The painting team was a bit rushed and we found the need for a good amount touch ups. (more than the normal amount you would expect from a paint job). We recently worked with Bella Kitchen and Bath to remodel our kitchen and had an excellent experience. After trying a number of different contractors without success, we walked in to their store without an appointment. Mark the owner initially assisted us and was very helpful while also hearing what we wanted and in quick order was able to pick out the design elements. When Sam the designer was available he assisted with the more specific details. A few days later both Mark and Sam made a house call to get the remaining details. A few days after we received the design details and budget quote. A week from our initial visit we made the deposit and set a start date three weeks out in order to have adequate time for all the cabinets, countertops and fixtures to be received. The expected construction window was three weeks, but ultimately it took four, but that was due to change orders we made based upon the demolition and having a better understanding of what needed to be done. Our construction manager, Carlos was amazing, clearly communicated work schedule and items needed to keep things moving. Carlos managed our expectations with progress and really made sure the job was done right and listened to all of our concerns were addressed. The construction team was great, everything was done well and they were really tidy. Can't say enough of how great our experience was with Bella, definitely exceeded our expectations! We recently hired Bella Kitchen Bath and Flooring to remodel our kitchen and powder room plus put in new flooring, closet doors, and a few other improvements as well as paint the interior of our house. The remodel involved removing two walls between our dining room and kitchen plus removing a window in our kitchen. The team at Bella were wonderful to work with. From the owner, Mark, who had the great idea to replace our pantry with cupboards (including a pantry cupboard) to Michele, our design expert, who offered suggestions for carpet, laminate, cabinets, and countertops that met our design esthetic and made the whole selection process so much easier. Carlos, the construction foreman, displayed great project management skills by ensuring daily that the appropriate team(s) were onsite to keep the work moving. I finally got around to the long delayed remodel of a tub/shower conversion as well as a half bath and flooring update. I had no idea where to start or what exactly I wanted to do. Yelp only allows 5 stars but if I could I'd give Bella Kitchen and Bath 10 stars! On Day One Sam (our salesman) and Mark (the owner) made us feel comfortable and it was obvious to my wife and I that both men were not only knowledgable and creative in their profession, but just as important to us, were honest men of their word; and that they would ensure a final product that was not only timely but one that all of us would be 100% proud of....and they delivered in spades!    Not knowing exactly what we wanted they gently guided us through a difficult decision process "without pressure" and their understanding of our needs and subsequent suggestions helped us tremendously in making final decisions that we comfortable with.   After having heard of issues with supply chain and sub-contractors not showing up to the worksite and causing huge delays in the middle of the project, one of our major concerns was the length of time it would take for the kitchen remodel to be completed. Our fears were alleviated when Mark explained the difference in how his company operates vis a vis many others. First, he uses only long time Bella employees (not sub-contractors) who they schedule; and second, he never starts a project until all of the cabinets, backsplash and related materials are received and stored in his warehouse! He promised a 3-4 week completion timeframe and the project was completed exactly as promised and city inspected within the promised 4 week timeframe! Each member of the Bella Team was not only exceptionally skilled but each and every employee went out of his way to make sure we were 100% satisfied with their end product....and they did it with smiles....a giant PLUS!   Luis Jr. was the foreman of the project and he tracked every detail and employee and communicated with us daily so we were always in the loop on the project status. Each of the employees were timely, neat and skilled at their jobs. The cabinetry installers Luis Sr and Carlos were amazing to work with and their work was impeccable.  Jose handled the electrical better than any electrician I have ever worked with ..... he clearly went the extra mile in everything he did.  Similarly Chris, Pedro and Brian worked on several projects ....all were completed quickly, efficiently and with expertise.   I could write a book of individual efforts that each Bella Team Member made to bring our kitchen to a successful and timely conclusion but in the interest of space just know that the reason we picked Bella Kitchen and Bath is we believed Mark and Sam when they said that their entire Team was not only experienced and skilled at their crafts but would bring quality work and their pride of accomplishment into our home for a reasonable price. I had to be more involved than I feel I should have and had some challenging interactions based on disappointing performance of a few. The right store and people! At Bella, Kaveh and Reza were great people to work with. Bathroom remodels are expensive, time consuming, and sometimes emotional. It takes time to pick the right pieces for your remodel (tile, fixtures, bathtub, quartz, vanities, flooring) and sometimes, you may change your mind. They were patient, provided lines items of work, and walked us through step by step. Changes were handled promptly, and they were ok if some items were no longer needed. My husband and I went to Bella Remodeling, Inc. yesterday to ask what we can do to our outdoor ceramic tile to create a non-slip surface. Aaron said he would research this and get back to us with correct information on products we can use. About a half hour later, he texted me back with a website name and different options to research. I couldn't believe the prompt service and helpfulness Aaron provided us, and we didn't even purchase anything from his business.
