Horrible experience with manager, kept lying to me on when the work would be done.

I was impressed with their service and selection and had no idea when I walked in what was the appropriate tile needed for floor and walls in a bathroom. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and explained the different types of tiles and helped me find selections that matched my vision. The showroom is huge with an extensive selection which makes it overwhelming but with Berna's help I was in and out within the hour. The delivery charge was reasonable and ability to schedule as needed. It's a little hard to find (around the back of another business) but well worth finding this place. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality tiles and expert assistance for their home projects. Thank you Tile Stone Depot and Berna!

Be sure to tip the high school kids who load your car or truck with the samples. They appreciate it! Also, ask for Anthony! He is the best! We have a 50k bathroom for a tenth of the price.

The drawers on the big one are misaligned. They even installed top drawers in the exact spot where the sinks go, even though we bought the sinks and tops from them at the same time. Our contractor had to tear the drawers apart and reattach the fronts just to make the vanities usable. What is also interesting, when we ordered it, the salesperson did hand-drawing of the big vanity. This drawing is probably the only blueprint that was used during manufacturing. The paint on the edges is already wearing off. There are a couple of places where the primer is showing through. And the vanities we received look somewhat different from the showroom models, which had tight, clean gaps, not the big, uneven ones we got. We even stopped by the store to show them the issues. The person who took our order said she would send someone to our home to look at the problems. We never heard from her again. To be fair, the countertops are exceptionally good. But as we understand it, they are manufactured and installed by a different company that Paramus Kitchen & Bath subcontracts. After vanities were installed, they came to our home, took all the measurements, then in a few days they came again and installed countertops. Top quality. Out of our entire renovation, buying from Paramus Kitchen & Bath was the biggest mistake we made.

We had to go with all new cabinets, new counter choices and more, and John guided us patiently through the entire process, helping us choose the best options for us, from overall style, color scheme, and materials. When we had to make decisions while out of town, again, John came to the rescue -- he showed us designs via FaceTime, and when we weren't sure which granite to choose (all long-distance!), we trusted him to help us decide on which one worked best. He was accessible and beyond patient when we kept fretting about this or that detail. The folks behind the scenes were amazing to work with too: Tania and David at the quarry, who designed the granite slabs and backsplash to highlight the beautiful natural stone, and Slawek, whose expertise with cabinetry is above and beyond. The kitchen came together beautifully, with a keen eye to design, professionalism, exquisite craftsmanship, while maximizing use of every inch of space. Many thanks to John and his entire team for giving us our new dream kitchen: tiny but mighty!

A follow-up was scheduled for February 19 but had to be rescheduled, and I spent weeks repeatedly trying to get him to return. Most messages went unanswered. When he did respond, it did not result in a plan to complete the work. Instead, he claimed multiple return attempts that did not match the well documented timeline and repeatedly blamed unrelated factors, prior construction, personal matters and accusations (falsely accused me of being Islamophobic) etc., rather than taking responsibility for his unsatisfactory, incomplete work. Because of his false accusations, manipulative behavior, and breakdown in communication, I reasonably declined further access to my home. He also refused a refund, claiming the money was already spent, which is unacceptable when work remains incomplete. Overall: incomplete work, poor communication, lack of accountability, unprofessional conduct.

I don't know about you, but my luck with finding a truly skilled individual who not only does…read morequality work, but also is detail oriented, inquisitive, and just a student of the trade is rare. So when I needed someone to fix the eroding grout in my bathroom, I was prepared for the usual runaround. Adam from Doctor Tile came out last week for an assessment, and you don't realize how bad things actually are until the right person walks you through everything. He was completely hands on and found things I didn't even notice - gaps, uneven widths, issues from floor to ceiling. It reminded me of the difference between a doctor who just says take some Advil versus one who actually takes time to understand what's going on and how it's affecting your quality of life. That's what you need for a shower that gets used multiple times a day. When you find someone skilled who actually gives a damn, that's one less thing weighing on your mind. And like you, I have more things to worry about than I care to admit. Removing this from my mental checklist was a relief. For the quality Adam delivered, the price was dead on - honestly probably a little inexpensive. Communication and clean up were better than expected. My bathroom looks brand new, which in a very old house, that's saying something. If you've been putting off grout work, I'll just say this - it's been a week and I still walk into my bathroom and appreciate how good it looks. But more than that, I don't have that nagging worry about water damage anymore. That alone made it worth it.

I had several cracked tiles in my shower that happened years after another company had done by bathroom redo. I contacted John and he made arrangements with me to come and look at my problem. After looking at the issue and seeing that I had replacement tiles, John assured me that he could safely remove the cracked tiles and replace them. Unfortunately, I did not have any grout from the original job. John was able to help me pick out two colors of grout that he thought would mix well together so that it would match. When John started the project and removed the broken tiles he saw why my tiles had broken. The original tiler did not do the job properly. They did not seal the seam between the pieces of backer boards and that was why the tiles were cracking. He fixed that before installing my new tiles. The grout combo worked out perfectly as well! You never would have known that I had ever had tiles removed and replaced. John did an awesome job!! After John completed that job, I also had him repair some grout in my upstairs bathroom that was coming out between some of the tiles. He did that perfectly as well. I could not be happier with how everything turned out! Thanks, John, for a job well done!! I would definitely call him again if I need any other tiling project completed.

He was punctual, worked quickly & neatly. I would definitely use him again for any tiling needs.

Upon delivery I opened all the outer boxes to make sure there was no damage to inner boxes and order was fulfilled. Outer and inner boxes were pristine. I called TileBar customer service immediately to ascertain possible solutions or a refund on damaged materials. Her response was we can send you ideas in 5-10 days, rush order not available. Then deliver alternative tile in another 5-10 days, no rush order. No discount. No refund, not even partial one as apology for crappy packaging.
