Very irresponsible company!!! Stay away from the Manager Allen and the sales Micheal Cohen and the installer Wellinton they recommended who has a license expired for 2 years (my lawyer later found out). They installed the floor 4 month ago and now my floor is a disaster. Flooring Atlanta nor the installer is responsible and they work hand in hand. They want me to claim my home insurance however I had several inspector coming checking the house confirm that there's no water leak telling me whoever sells as well as install should be responsible! But till now they kept silence! Very disappointed. Spent $16,000 and this is the result! Stay away from this disgusting company. Below are the specific email I wrote to them. -------------------------------------------- I include the email I wrote to them I am writing to follow up on my request for replacement/compensation for the flooring purchased from Flooring Atlanta and installed by WLB Floors. I am including both of you in this email, as I do not care how responsibility is taken, so long as the problem is resolved. I tried to contact Wellington, the installer, for help first and he claimed the issue is caused by the materials, and asked me to contact Al. Al claims the materials are not the issue and thus not covered by the warranty. We only used Wellington's services because they came recommended by Flooring Atlanta's salesman, Michael Cohen. Al has also said that Wellington is the best installer you have. Despite this, the two of you seem to want to find someone else to blame. Per your assertions, I engaged with a professional leak inspection company to determine whether or not there were any leaks which may have caused the staining of the wood. A copy of the report is attached. There were no leaks. Furthermore, we closed on the property in November of last year, right before we purchased the hardwood and had it installed. Prior to closing, there was a home inspection report from October 2022 that likewise reported no leaks. Now that we have ruled out an existing leak as the cause of the issue, this leaves just three possibilities. First, the house is not suited for engineered hardwood. Prior to purchasing the hardwood we specifically asked the salesman Michael if our house was suitable for it, or if we should get vinyl instead. He upsold us on the hardwood and assured us it was okay. We relied on his professional opinion. If the house can't have this type of floor without issues, then Flooring Atlanta should not have let us purchase it, especially when we purchased it based on your salesman's recommendation. Second, the batch of hardwood that we received had issues and was defective, which would be covered by the warranty. Wellington asking us to talk to Al about the water damage seems to imply this might be the case, however Al assured us that there was nothing wrong with the wood. However, the wood seemed fine upon initial installation, and there was no apparent water damage until about a month after the installation. This possibility is less likely. Third, the installation was done poorly. The moisture that has gotten into the wood comes from the concrete underneath, but due to poor workmanship or negligence during installation, it was not properly sealed so as to be waterproof. More, or better, floor prep should have been done prior to installing the hardwood. Ultimately, asking us to claim our home insurance for this issue is unacceptable. We are not the professionals, and that is why we asked for both of your inputs and suggestions multiple times, and relied on such suggestions. ---------------------------------------------- Till today they still did not reply. Again, stay away from this disgusting company!!

Very happy with my experience here except for the price of install for the hardwood. I ended up getting my flooring here as it was cheaper than other places but got Someone else to install the hardwood. Michael, at Flooring Atlanta was amazing. I told him what look I was going for and he showed me plenty of options and was great about updating me. He was really great. I ended up getting carpet LVP and hardwood and couldn't be more happy about the products. I did use them to install the carpet and LVP and Would def use them again

If I could give them 0 stars I would! Horrible install! not only did they do a poor job installing the damaged our counter top and don't want to pay to fix it. The have horrible customer service and won't call back once they have your money. They didn't even install the flooring transitions that they had us pay and also won't refund the cost of. If you want anything that looks half way decent don't go with this company. The supervisor even admitted that the crew he sent out screwed up the last job. They promised to make it right. Here we are 4 months later and im still fighting them for my money.

Kitchen floor lament without a trace of glue!

My experience started out great and slowly went downhill! Carlos was our salesperson. Again his customer service started off great, but once I called asking too many questions and asking for my floor to be done correctly, he became unresponsive. My contractor Jeff did an awesome job with my hardwood floor, although it took him longer than estimated. Once he got to my kitchen he rushed and did an egregious job. I am very upset that two years later I have to replace the lament because it was not glued down! I called Jeff several times to inquire about puckering, however he assured me that the glue takes time to dry. I guess I am still waiting for the nonexistent glue to dry! When I spoke to Carlos about it he told me to poke holes in the pucker to let the air out!! I didn't know I had to participate in the floor laying process!

Bad experience, poor communication with (me)the customer prior to installation. Flooring Atlanta rep/contract was not explained prior to the Installation. Sketchy

Antoine was quick to respond and was able to come out within a day or so of me asking for a quote…read more Antoine provided a quote that priced all the work separately, allowing us to choose the work scope that was within our budget. He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

My expectations might have been too high because of all the great reviews. My experience was good,…read morebut not excellent. Let's start with the good - he did get most of the stains out and did a great job tightening up our carpet. He was also on time and easy to communicate with. The not-so-good: the main thing that irked me was that he put our furniture on top of our other furniture. This includes an air purifier that was on the dirty floor of our bedroom which was moved to be on top of our clean bed. He also put our tables on top of our couches. Not the cleanest method to clean. When I've hired Stanley Steamer before they come with 2 guys who move all the heavy furniture around and place everything on these pad-looking things. They never put things on top of things. They also ask you to move the smaller things out of the way. Also, he also wasn't able to get out of a couple of minor stains. I'd say he was about as expensive as Stanley Steamer, but not as effective. All and all, he was a nice guy but his methodology is questionable.

I'm so glad I found them. After going to 5+ flooring stores for our LVP including floor and decor…read morewe were so disappointed with the selection. I found them by chance and wished I did sooner. Pam was fabulous and helped us select some pieces that would fit well with our house/style. She has a great eye for design. She gave us some samples to take and test at the house. Charbel was wonderful to work with as well. I LOVE our flooring. Our contractor recently put them in. Every time I look down, I smile. I love it so much. It's chaise tan by Shaw. Go to Dalton for your flooring needs. These people are honest and know what they are doing. I shared this review on Google, but wanted to include them here as well. They are really great people to work with.

DON'T JUST SHOP, GET EDUCATED!…read more I decided to visit this store because I wanted a larger inventory of flooring products. They had a nice collection of carpets, wood, tile and porcelain options. I just love being able to go to the store and try out the products and experience them as I would in my home. So I kick off my shoes and lay it on the floor and walk on it. How else do you do it? There was plenty of room available to explore and I love having a work table to rest my bag and notebook. Sometimes I take notes but I allowed my husband to do most of the listening as I shopped. Although I like to do research before visiting the store, I still like to ask questions because the employees may have different answers based on their direct experience with clients. For example, one product that my husband liked at a previous store was ruled out here due to complaints about its tendency to become easily soiled and another was ruled out due to its poor performance in high traffic areas. Gene was very knowledgeable about the carpet and he helped us to really narrow our choices. Shopping for carpet is simply overwhelming and we are easily going into our second month of trying to make a decision. It is not just about the carpet, you need to know about their installation process as well. If there is an imperfection that is found in the sub-floor after the carpet is removed, With Dalton Flooring Outlet, I can easily work directly with the contractor to have it addressed. My neighbor was not able to do this with his installers due to company policy. Instead of correcting those issues, they were literally covered up. You must consider "worse case scenario" so that all possible issues can be addressed prior to the install. Some stores are very rigid and if it is not spelled out in the contract, you might have a problem. They have a very nice selection of porcelain tile and planks. However, they have only one very trusted tile guy and he will not be available for another six to nine months. Apparently, you can easily run into this problem if you want porcelain because a different carpet store stated that porcelain is just not that popular so they did not have anyone who could install it even though they sold it. Beware because this could present a problem down the road if you need to have a piece replaced or repaired. We picked out a couple of porcelain samples that we would like to try in our home and they will be shipped to us at no cost. We were also able to take home a couple of their carpet samples for review as well. ***Remember, if you don't do the research, you will not be able to ask intelligent questions and you won't really understand what they are telling you. It is also easier to rule out and rule in certain options.
