I am only giving this company a 1 star review. Many issues here. They lumped all 3 rooms together on the estimated order. When purchasing the flooring 3 months later, I removed a room but was still charged for all 3. This was brought to my attention on the day of installation. The worst issue is the floor sample I saw in the showroom is NOT the same floor as installed. I was told by the Store Manager that "you cannot go by the sample". If that's the case, why would I purchase the floor? Everyone who came by or I showed pictures of the floor agreed that the floor was extremely darker than the sample. I was given a verbal offer to "swap out the floor from the same manufacturer" by the Store Manager who ghosted me with phone calls, texts, and in store visits. Avoid much? Very professional....said no one ever! Now let's get to the refund issue. Since I was erroneously charged for 3 rooms and specifically stated I only wanted 2 rooms of flooring, after numerous calls with everyone I could reach out to, it took this company 4 months to finally give me a credit of $663 and change, which at this point, the tax was not included in the refund. I thought using this company would help our community instead of using big companies, i.e., Home Depot or Lowe's. Lesson learned the hard way. Always go with the bigger companies. They want to please their customers. To date, the Store Manager's option "to swap out the floors" has not been followed through. I've asked twice since being refunded and all I hear is radio silence. So you cannot count on anyone's word. Another lesson learned the hard way. Not everyone is going to be honest. Word of advice, do not use this company. They only post the "good reviews". On a positive note, Tiago and Jacques, the installer, were phenomenal! read more

We were happy with our lvp in the kitchen except that we have had several cracks. We have reached out to our rep many times in almost a year and only get promises of it being corrected. I do not recommend for follow-up on issues. Other issues include uneven stove due to floor placement and incorrect transition to wood flooring. read more

Carlos was amazing helping us get 5 bedrooms and stairs carpeted within a very tight window before we moved into our new home. We're located an hour+ away from him and he drove over one night to measure and had a fantastic team there by 11:00 the next day to have the carpet we chose installed. The installers are amazing and the carpet looks and feels fabulous. Also given the quality of the materials, distance to the job site, the tight window within Carlos worked, speed and quality of installation, the price we paid is a great value. Very irresponsible company!!! Stay away from the Manager Allen and the sales Micheal Cohen and the installer Wellinton they recommended who has a license expired for 2 years (my lawyer later found out). They installed the floor 4 month ago and now my floor is a disaster. Flooring Atlanta nor the installer is responsible and they work hand in hand. They want me to claim my home insurance however I had several inspector coming checking the house confirm that there's no water leak telling me whoever sells as well as install should be responsible! But till now they kept silence! Very disappointed. Spent $16,000 and this is the result! Stay away from this disgusting company. Below are the specific email I wrote to them. -------------------------------------------- I include the email I wrote to them I am writing to follow up on my request for replacement/compensation for the flooring purchased from Flooring Atlanta and installed by WLB Floors. I am including both of you in this email, as I do not care how responsibility is taken, so long as the problem is resolved. I tried to contact Wellington, the installer, for help first and he claimed the issue is caused by the materials, and asked me to contact Al. Al claims the materials are not the issue and thus not covered by the warranty. We only used Wellington's services because they came recommended by Flooring Atlanta's salesman, Michael Cohen. Al has also said that Wellington is the best installer you have. Despite this, the two of you seem to want to find someone else to blame. Per your assertions, I engaged with a professional leak inspection company to determine whether or not there were any leaks which may have caused the staining of the wood. A copy of the report is attached. There were no leaks. Furthermore, we closed on the property in November of last year, right before we purchased the hardwood and had it installed. Prior to closing, there was a home inspection report from October 2022 that likewise reported no leaks. Now that we have ruled out an existing leak as the cause of the issue, this leaves just three possibilities. First, the house is not suited for engineered hardwood. Prior to purchasing the hardwood we specifically asked the salesman Michael if our house was suitable for it, or if we should get vinyl instead. He upsold us on the hardwood and assured us it was okay. We relied on his professional opinion. If the house can't have this type of floor without issues, then Flooring Atlanta should not have let us purchase it, especially when we purchased it based on your salesman's recommendation. Second, the batch of hardwood that we received had issues and was defective, which would be covered by the warranty. Wellington asking us to talk to Al about the water damage seems to imply this might be the case, however Al assured us that there was nothing wrong with the wood. However, the wood seemed fine upon initial installation, and there was no apparent water damage until about a month after the installation. This possibility is less likely. Third, the installation was done poorly. The moisture that has gotten into the wood comes from the concrete underneath, but due to poor workmanship or negligence during installation, it was not properly sealed so as to be waterproof. More, or better, floor prep should have been done prior to installing the hardwood. Ultimately, asking us to claim our home insurance for this issue is unacceptable. We are not the professionals, and that is why we asked for both of your inputs and suggestions multiple times, and relied on such suggestions. ---------------------------------------------- Till today they still did not reply. I ended up getting my flooring here as it was cheaper than other places but got Someone else to install the hardwood. Michael, at Flooring Atlanta was amazing. Fernando and his team recently installed wood flooring for me and did a wonderful job. They were very professional, prompt and respectful. They stained the new as well as the existing flooring a beautiful walnut brown and no one can tell which is the old and which is new. They were very patient and answered all of my questions no matter how small. The have horrible customer service and won't call back once they have your money. They didn't even install the flooring transitions that they had us pay and also won't refund the cost of. If you want anything that looks half way decent don't go with this company. The supervisor even admitted that the crew he sent out screwed up the last job. They promised to make it right. My experience started out great and slowly went downhill! Carlos was our salesperson. Again his customer service started off great, but once I called asking too many questions and asking for my floor to be done correctly, he became unresponsive. My contractor Jeff did an awesome job with my hardwood floor, although it took him longer than estimated. Once he got to my kitchen he rushed and did an egregious job. I am very upset that two years later I have to replace the lament because it was not glued down! I called Jeff several times to inquire about puckering, however he assured me that the glue takes time to dry. I guess I am still waiting for the nonexistent glue to dry! When I spoke to Carlos about it he told me to poke holes in the pucker to let the air out!! I didn't know I had to participate in the floor laying process! read more

We worked with Michael and Pam, which were both very nice people, not pushy at all, and very efficient. Visiting the warehouse: We went to the one in Norcross which was very nice. There was a lot of carpet choices but since we wanted it installed ASAP, we were limited to the ones they had in stock. It was a small selection but had the kind we wanted (low pile plush in a cream color) at great price points that were literally half the price as the big box home improvement stores. Even though we were on a budget, Michael treated us no differently, taking the time to talk about pros and cons of multiple aspects of carpet and gave us time to try each of them out, putting them on the different padding choices, etc. We opted for the premium padding option and that was similar price to the big box stores but we felt that was worth it. Measurement: They scheduled us for a measurement the very next day! He was on-time and gave us measurements similar to one we received before but some over. We noted that they used just a normal measuring tape vs. HD which used a laser tapeless measure and a room design app showing the exact dimensions of a room. That's probably why they measured for more yardage but Pam (who answered my questions about the discrepancy very politely, efficiently, and gave us a discount) explained that they measure based on having as little seaming as possible. Installation: After the measurement, we were confirmed for installation...that very weekend! Seriously the timeline for this project was a dream. The installers even showed up early, did a great job with the installation, and only left a couple scuffs on our wall which I guess is expected. I would really recommend anyone to use this business for their flooring needs. They seem like honest people who get business done efficiently and don't waste anyone's time. Philip the sales rep failed to list the rooms that need new carpet. The home was vacant at the time. The crew came out and removed all the carpet in the house. Juan called me to tell me what they did and I will call you back to tell you the outcome. No phone call. The crew reinstalled the carpet they removed that should not have been removed. The installers used the restrooms and never flushed, left razor blades on window sills and broke a door. When I called Juan and told him what happen, Juan asked the crew and all denied they broke the door or used the restroom. I was told to send pictures of the broken door but was never give an email or cell to send pictures. When I asked Juan to come view the problem he refused. Juan and Philp did not provide a resolution to my issue or offer and compensation for the door. The company acknowledge their mistake and a reduced the cost of the labor. Thank you. read more

We worked with Josh. He's super professional and knew just what we needed. His measurements saved us a lot of overage when compared to our own measurements. His integrity saved us a new pad because he could tell the old one was fine! Installers were on time, profesional and quick. Only a couple scuffs on the walls (which was anticipated). We used Carpet Surplus for new carpet for our terrace level. We visited the showroom with our neighbors and we chose the same carpet and installation. Within 6 months it was coming up and rolling everywhere on our terrace level. We spoke to our neighbors and their carpet was also rolling. We called the store and someone came out to inspect it. He was very nice but had to hand it over to the manager and he would get in touch with me. I never heard from the manager. After 5 calls and no return call or resolution we finally called another company and paid another $5000 to have the carpet replace. read more

There were some hiccups that kept the tile installation from being completed as quickly as promised, but I still give the overall experience five stars. While hiccups will happen, what makes the difference is how it is handled and my concerns were quickly addressed and resolved to my satisfaction. I worked with Carlos who was helpfull in finding the products I was seeking, and processed both Sales with me, and I *Thought* set an appointment for my install of the 2nd purchase. 1st issue; Noone came at the appointment Time, and on calling about this I was Rudely Informed that the Entire Puchase and Install was payable BEFORE the Appointment would be set to actually Deliver and Install Anything. A) There was a lack of Communicating this to me. B) That was a 1st in Paying for Installed Flooring Up Front from Anywhere for me. 2nd Issue; The measuring crew came up with 30% more product to do the same Job I had already measured and some other miscellaneous trumped up charges in addition. Most of those additional charges were removed from the Final Bill, with a Promise of a Refund for the Product if it was Not Used on the Job. And Carlos Was Able to get Installers out the Same Day the Appointment was to be for, though later in the day . Problems; The Installers sent could not speak English. There are generally at least 2 different ways of Laying Flooring, and an Experienced Installer Knows This. The options Should Be presented to the Customer before the Install itself is started. Zero Options were presented to me! My best guess for why not is the Skill Level of the Installers sent. The Install was mediocre and Far from a Professional Job, and which it turned out I was left with 30% more product than I Actually needed (enough to do an Entire Room, Large Kitchen, etc) but Paid for. AND which they Thought they were taking With Them...NOT! AND I never got the refund because in their Lack of Experience they'd cut into it. Summary; Nice Products at Carpet Surplus, Good Prices for the Products, Get your Own Installers to avoid being ripped off. read more

If you're looking for economical flooring, this is the place to go. They had a large selection and hardwood flooring, with a wide range of prices. Everything went great until installation day. We were told it would take 4-5 hours. It took 10 hours to install the flooring and they didn't even finish. They blamed the warehouse for not putting all the supplies on the truck. Wouldn't you make sure you had everything before you came to the job site. It didn't help that 1 of the installers spoke zero English and the other spoke very little. Why would you come into someone's home to do work and not send someone that can communicate with the person who is paying for the work to be done? We had to call Carlos to let them know that the work wasn't completed and find out when the work could be finished. I would've thought they he would have called us, but he had no idea the job wasn't complete. Then he called us the next day to find out how the installation went. I guess he forgot he spoke to me the previous day. They had to come out again 3 days later to complete the work and were supposed to call 30 mins before they arrived. They did not call. Glad it's over with. Not sure if I would use them again. read more

I was in a hurry for carpet and was impressed that it was handled so quickly. i was a little disappointed that communication with workers was minimal (language barrier), but they did a great job with the installation. One of the workers was throwing my old carpet out of an upstairs window and broke a few things outside in front of my home. They also broke a closet door and removed a screen from the window and never put it back. I was told that someone would come to my home, fix the closet door and replace the screen. The first time scheduled they did not show or call. I called the next day and we rescheduled. When the day and time came, he didn't show so I called, and he told me he was busy but would still come. Then he called and said it was too far but would make it another day and call me back when his boss okayed it. He never called, never called, never called. The closet door is still not fixed and the screen is still not in the window three months later. read more
