I decided to go with Floor Coverings International Northeast Atlanta because I could tell that Jennie was truly trying to understand my needs and help me solve my issue. I just moved out of Atlanta with my house was on the market, I needed to redo the floors so essentially this was being done from 400 miles away. Let me tell you I made the right decision, not only did Jennie help me and walk me through this whole process, but she would go to my house and FaceTime me and show me different stains and how the work was moving along. Although they were not the least expensive, nor were they the most expensive, I can tell you it was worth every single penny because she is a determined on making sure that the customer experience is excellent - all the way from the beginning to the very end. Not to mention that my floors looked beautiful. Once again, I couldn't be on site, so I had to trust her to help me through this process. It was a lot to deal with at first, but Shamas and his crew took charge of the whole thing, including coordinating directly with our insurance adjuster and staying patient through all the paperwork and back-and-forth. We picked out a bunch of our own tiles and materials from Amazon and other online stores, and Shamas had no problem incorporating them into the project. He also pointed us toward more budget-friendly options when it made sense, and threw in some design suggestions that ended up being some of our favorite parts of the finished space. The end result speaks for itself -- every room was brought back to life, and honestly looks better than before. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch; you'd never guess the place had been through that kind of damage. On top of the great work, Shamas and his team were just really easy to deal with -- quick to answer the phone, always punctual, and kept us updated the whole way through. We were allowed to view the showroom and take some samples to the house to see how the floors would look in the sunlight. We were in close contact with one of the owners, Candi, as she would give us updates and answered any of our questions along the way. We used Yelp to find a flooring company to replace our LVT floor in the basement. Our old LVT floor…read morewas buckling and breaking apart. Peach Design responded quickly online and came the next day to give a quote in person. After agreeing to go with their company on Friday, they started the flooring the following Tuesday and finished it the next day (Wednesday). They communicated clearly, were responsive to our questions, and were very professional. The LVT they recommended was commercial grade which was much thicker and sturdier than what we previously had. The quote they gave was comparable to others but the reason we chose them was they noticed that there was a concern about our existing floor not being level which they planned to address during their install. He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. Included (for a fee) in the quote was assistance putting furniture back in the room which was helpful. I'd contact Antoine again for future flooring needs.

I am only giving this company a 1 star review. Many issues here. They lumped all 3 rooms together…read moreon the estimated order. When purchasing the flooring 3 months later, I removed a room but was still charged for all 3. This was brought to my attention on the day of installation. The worst issue is the floor sample I saw in the showroom is NOT the same floor as installed. I was told by the Store Manager that "you cannot go by the sample". If that's the case, why would I purchase the floor? Everyone who came by or I showed pictures of the floor agreed that the floor was extremely darker than the sample. I was given a verbal offer to "swap out the floor from the same manufacturer" by the Store Manager who ghosted me with phone calls, texts, and in store visits. Avoid much? Very professional....said no one ever! Now let's get to the refund issue. Since I was erroneously charged for 3 rooms and specifically stated I only wanted 2 rooms of flooring, after numerous calls with everyone I could reach out to, it took this company 4 months to finally give me a credit of $663 and change, which at this point, the tax was not included in the refund. I thought using this company would help our community instead of using big companies, i.e., Home Depot or Lowe's. Lesson learned the hard way. Always go with the bigger companies. They want to please their customers. To date, the Store Manager's option "to swap out the floors" has not been followed through. I've asked twice since being refunded and all I hear is radio silence. So you cannot count on anyone's word. Another lesson learned the hard way. Not everyone is going to be honest. Word of advice, do not use this company. They only post the "good reviews". On a positive note, Tiago and Jacques, the installer, were phenomenal!

They arrived promptly and were very friendly. They spent quite a bit of time taking videos and measurements. We tried to get an estimate or ballpark of the cost but they could not give us any numbers. We then spent another 30-40 mins taking videos of my bathroom area, still couldn't give us a price range. We were supposed to hear back within the following days....and no follow up, no call, no estimate. Now I am curious whatever happened to all those videos taken during the hr they spent at our home.

DON'T JUST SHOP, GET EDUCATED!…read more I decided to visit this store because I wanted a larger inventory of flooring products. They had a nice collection of carpets, wood, tile and porcelain options. I just love being able to go to the store and try out the products and experience them as I would in my home. So I kick off my shoes and lay it on the floor and walk on it. How else do you do it? There was plenty of room available to explore and I love having a work table to rest my bag and notebook. Sometimes I take notes but I allowed my husband to do most of the listening as I shopped. Although I like to do research before visiting the store, I still like to ask questions because the employees may have different answers based on their direct experience with clients. For example, one product that my husband liked at a previous store was ruled out here due to complaints about its tendency to become easily soiled and another was ruled out due to its poor performance in high traffic areas. Gene was very knowledgeable about the carpet and he helped us to really narrow our choices. Shopping for carpet is simply overwhelming and we are easily going into our second month of trying to make a decision. It is not just about the carpet, you need to know about their installation process as well. If there is an imperfection that is found in the sub-floor after the carpet is removed, With Dalton Flooring Outlet, I can easily work directly with the contractor to have it addressed. My neighbor was not able to do this with his installers due to company policy. Instead of correcting those issues, they were literally covered up. You must consider "worse case scenario" so that all possible issues can be addressed prior to the install. Some stores are very rigid and if it is not spelled out in the contract, you might have a problem. They have a very nice selection of porcelain tile and planks. However, they have only one very trusted tile guy and he will not be available for another six to nine months. Apparently, you can easily run into this problem if you want porcelain because a different carpet store stated that porcelain is just not that popular so they did not have anyone who could install it even though they sold it. Beware because this could present a problem down the road if you need to have a piece replaced or repaired. We picked out a couple of porcelain samples that we would like to try in our home and they will be shipped to us at no cost. We were also able to take home a couple of their carpet samples for review as well. ***Remember, if you don't do the research, you will not be able to ask intelligent questions and you won't really understand what they are telling you. It is also easier to rule out and rule in certain options.
