From the moment I called for an appointment to instillation to Tony coming to check on the instillation - class act! Tony called me within 30 minutes of leaving a message and was able to meet with me the next day. He was on time, brough carpet samples that he knew I would want to see. (I had 3 other appointments set to meet with other carpet installers). Tony understood exactly what I was looking for in my carpet replacement. He measured the 3 rooms to include closets and stairway and provided an exceptional quote. I signed a contract on the spot. Tony let me know he could schedule the instillation for 2 weeks out (I wanted a Saturday installation and the upcoming Saturday from our initial meeting was already booked). I was not available but scheduled it for the following weekend (this past Saturday). The contractors Tony uses to install carpet are also a class act. They were on time, took 3ish hours to complete the job and cleaned up during and after instillation. Tony let me know that I only needed to pick up items off the floor and move electronics. The contractors will move furniture. (I ended up moving all items on the floors except for two heavy beds and and elliptical machine. We are so thrilled with the service we received from ABC Floors! We had all of our flooring (carpet, tile, hard wood) removed from our main level and stairs and replaced with new hard wood. First of all, Tony, the owner, was so easy to work with. His dedication to customer service is truly unheard of, and he did whatever it took to make sure we were extremely happy. For example, I was a little worried that the actual wood wouldn't look like the sample since we were using natural wood and there could be different coloration or knots in the wood. So Tony offered to buy us a whole box of the wood so I could see how the different pieces would actually look. He was so committed to making sure that the project turned out perfectly and that it was exactly what we wanted. He made me feel extremely valued, never acted like I was high maintenance even though I did ask him to make a couple of changes. He is seriously the best! Second of all, the floors look fantastic! After 16 years it was time to replace the worn carpet and linoleum with hardwood in my living, dining, and kitchen areas, as well as replace the carpet throughout the rest of the house. With the use of Yelp, Google, and friends recommendations, I searched for the best possible service providers and contacted four (4) contractors. Each provided their ideas, estimates, and final quotes. Although, each contractor sales representative was professional and knowledgeable - I quickly realized that pricing was subjective and very much inflated in many cases. On Saturday, I had a million things to do, so I was counting on this appointment to go through well. Here is how we rate ABC Floors on the stuff that matters...Estimate was very reasonable, came out the same day I contacted them. Had some very good input but not pushy. Wood was delivered several weeks before the install (Look it up. This is important if you want it done right). Hard working team of 2 showed up on time every day(7:30 a.m.) and didn't abandon the job for 1 1/2 at lunch time. In fact, they never stopped working. While one went to get lunch the other kept working away. Put in 2 solid 11 hour days. Demo of existing floor was done quickly and with very little mess. Everything loaded up and taken away same day (No. The trash didn't sit out in our driveway for several days while they finished the install).
