We did a trial run of boarding with Molly, and he passed so we were able to schedule a weeklong vacation knowing he would have the best time. He got to hang out with some other senior dogs and have long walks in the wilderness and lots of doggo time. Molly kept us posted daily with pictures of our little man being a dog. After a few lackluster interviews with sitters I found on our town's facebook group, I got a recommendation for the Natural dog. I was immediately drawn by their pictures of their pack on hikes in hills and appreciated the quick, thorough response I got to my inquiry. We scheduled a trial night to make sure our girl would be a good fit for an extended stay (we loved that they did this check) and I could tell right away from seeing Paul interact with her that she was going to be in good hands - he is definitely a bit of a dog whisperer. Nick goes above and beyond getting his pack out, getting exercise and having fun. A fringe benefit is some great auxiliary training for Lou. Our 2…read moreyear old dog Sasha has a couple issues: 1) he has a neurological condition that makes his balance really wobbly. 2) he is a nervous guy, and especially triggered at our house, which makes him a pup that needs someone to take their time to get to know him and build his trust. Through Oakland Pet Care, we met Caitlin, who is an absolute angel, and loves Sasha, and all her dog friends so much. She takes incredible loving care of him on his evening walks. Because of Covid, our previous dog walker (who took a pack on hikes in the area), had to close. So of course I reached out to Delia of Oakland Pet Care! Even though Sasha needs a bit more TLC (esp in the beginning) than most dogs, they took us on, and it has been SO GREAT!
