Warning to other customers! I have a credit on my account with Florade Wellness and called last Saturday July 6 to make an appt for July 13th. The reception said she would get back with me by Monday to see if Helena would be available. Since I didn't hear back from them. On Tuesday I called several times and couldn't even leave a message because their voice mail box was full. I sent an email, no response. I drove after work on Tuesday to see what was going on and this is what was posted on the window. Notice of Eviction!!! I met another customer waiting in her car for a 6:15 appt. nobody showed up for her appt and she paid in advance. Do not pay online in advance. Lengthy, but PLEASE read! I purchased a $165 groupon for a VI Peel. I called and made an appointment for that same day. When i got to the app they informed me that it was cancelled bc the Esta Titian could not make it because she is also a nurse and has another job. So I rescheduled my appointment. When I went back for my second appointment they told me that my groupon wasn't working so i paid the groupon price there in cash. to later find out that they had used my groupon code after all. so they got paid twice they also told me that I would not be getting the VI Peel instead I will be getting the perfect derma peel, which is the exact same thing as the VI peel. She told me DO NOT use any of the moisturize that comes in the kit bc she wanted my skin to stay really dry so the peel could work. Seven days later my face started to break out in a horrible rash around my mouth and I was breaking out all over like crazy. I was supposed to go for a 10 day post op visit but every time I call they tell me that they have to call me back or they tell me that the lady who did the peel the first time is not in and that I only can talk to her because she's the one who's treating me. So I have called and tried to get in touch with her four different times and left my number and left a message for her to call me back which she hasn't done. Today I just called and Spoke with the receptionist and she said that she doesn't know the next time the lady who did my peel is going to be in because she makes her own schedule and she can come and go as she pleases. which is probably why she told me that I didn't need a postop appointment that I could just call that same day and stop in for her to just check my skin and see what's going on. I called again later today & the other lady at the receptionist desk told me that that's not true I have to make an appointment anytime I want to speak with any of them. WHICH ONE IS IT? so right now there's a rash on my face from the peel and I cannot get in touch with the aesthetician that did my service and it'sbeen over a week and a half. Update: Let me clarify...I TRIED to make a PO appt with the lady who did the peel. I asked her about it as she was finishing up & Again, she told me that she wanted to see me 10days later, that she works on mondays, and that i could come in at any time that day, just call right before i came. cause she said it only takes about 10mins. At about day 7 is when i tried to make a sooner follow up appointment bc i was breaking out in a rash from the peel. I called MULTIPLE times and left MULTIPLE messages for her and never heard back from anyone. I asked if i could see someone else & they told me i could only see her. Also, Sona B... instead of trying to deliver great customer service and ask how i'm doing, how they can help, or saying they will look into it and try to work on the issues i mentioned... Sona B basically called me a liar and is insinuating that everything is my fault. Further proving my point that this place is a horrible place to go to because that is exactly how they treat you. Came here for a facial with pumpkin peel and SONA did such a wonderful job. I was a little nervous because I hadn't done a peel before but she made me really comfortable and walked me through the whole facial process and told me all about the products she was using as well. Facials are part pain (extractions! you need them!) and part relaxation (massage! masks!) and in the end they are so so worth it. I can't wait to come back in a couple months. The interior of the place is large and clean. They have a nice waiting area. Staff at the front desk was great. Parking lot though is small and awkward. Would be hard to come here on a day with a lot of people out and about. read more

I went to this place one time cause they had a special on Botox. The job was fine, nothing special, like every other place, but I was happy with results so I brought my mom for consultation. The nurse told my mom that she won't be able to get her the results she's hoping for which was fair enough. I asked about doing my chin and she said to wait a bit. So I waited and called a few weeks ago to schedule an appointment. I was told that she's not doing that treatment. That was weird to me cause she told me she does but fine, if they don't they don't. A few days ago my friend scheduled an appointment for us for Botox. Two days before the appointment they call to tell me that based on my last visit they won't treat me and the appointment is cancelled. What happened on my last visit??? I have NO CLUE!!! So unprofessional and disappointing. Seriously I'm amazed by their terrible customer service. Well her answer just gives a feedback to my review about the bad customer service they have. I'm not moving from one place to the other, I actually went to an amazing place but they are so busy and an appointment must be scheduled 3 months before the service is needed and I just didn't want to wait that long. As I said, service was fine, it's just Botox after all, so I came back and brought my mom too but the customer service is terrible, and that is way more important! It sounds like you don't really know what happened and u just make excuses for the bad customer service you guys provide. I called the owner Tuesday morning cause I was so drained and feeling exhausted. She got back to me right away and said Sona can come at 7pm to my house. Sona showed up exactly at 7 and explained everything to me and started the IV drip. Sona was awesome and had extensive knowledge in what she does. I felt amazing afterwards and woke up feeling great afterwards. I highly recommend Florade and Sona. Thx again so much Sona! Can't wait for my next drip. read more

Hard to imagine these folks will manage to stay in business, the receptionists have very little understanding of what they are doing, and have managed to upset the client, the therapist and possibly the owner. Having been given a gift via Groupon for my wife and I to have a colonic and having been to this location once before, we booked and they quickly found us in the system. Groupons are only good for the 1st visit but the receptionist asked me to hold and came back to say she had an OK to fit us both in at the same time and would honor the Groupon. When we showed up they attempted to charge us the full price and told us that Groupon was a 3rd party, take it up with them. They refused to honor the Groupon and stated that you can only use it once, as we had been there 2 years prior, it was invalid. I stated that we had been through all this the day before when we booked but we just got the blank stare of the truly stupid and "I'm sorry, its policy". I asked her to check with the manager but that person was not "available". I asked her to check with the therapists to see if they would honor the Groupon, they are independent contractors after all. No, she won't check, no Manager. no sale. The thing is, she looked so pleased to be unhelpful. So, 2 therapists are sitting idle for an hour each, no tip, no pay. 2 customers who will never ever ever come back. I hope the owner reads this: you need new staff, they are costing you money. I hardly ever write reviews, but this one is justified and I hope it might help a fellow Yelper. Florade is one shady establishment. I've had good experiences with the workers (most are no longer there because they were treated so poorly, didn't get paid on time, etc.) but the management is the epitome of unethical. Two years ago, I bought a package of 5 hydrotherapy sessions (over $400). Shortly thereafter, they stopped offering the service and assured me they would have another therapist soon. That never happened. After calling for a few months to gather updates, they finally agreed to refund me for my package. This also never happened. I followed up every few weeks for 4 months and the receptionist kept giving me a run-around that she had to talk to their accountant and "I am sure they sent your check, can you give me your address again?" Needless to say, here we are over 6 months later and still nothing. I am out a few hundred dollars and this shady establishment continues to steal and cheat people out of their services. Very very happy with FWC. The service is amazing from the reception staff to the actual technicians. There was some confusion with my appointment which could have gone very badly. I had scheduled it thru Living Social at the time that I purchased my voucher (which I thought was a super convenient feature). Unfortunately, something went wrong & the appt Living Social made on my behalf wasn't properly conveyed to FWC. Regardless of the confusion, FWC accommodated me rather than turn me away with a new appt. As for the actual service I purchased, the hydrotherapy voucher, I couldn't be happier. Deyree is wonderful. She made me feel extremely comfortable and gave some really useful info throughout the session about understanding my digestive system and process. I love the customer service of this place ! Purchased from Groupon two Colon hydrotherapy treatments. Had the first one today with Deyree. She is very nice and made me feel comfortable. Had suggestions on how to improve digestion. Place was very clean and pristine. air conditioning is on point to keep place sanitary. Front desk Nicole and Denise were super helpful . I had mentioned I was interested in different things this place offered and they set me up with consultations right away with Sona who does micro blading for eyebrows , Helena the nurse who does IPL's etc and Chaunda the esthetician for facials and more. Bought a great sunscreen from her suggestion. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable. I purchased a Groupon for a colonic session for Florade Wellness Center in Encino, CA. I set up an appointment with a very nice receptionist and I was excited to become more healthy from the inside out. My therapist was Elysia. OMGoodess, she is so AWESOME!!! She took her time to explain the entire process, gave good tips on improving my health and maintaining a healthy colon, she is really funny and extremely patient and make you feel very comfortable. So when my session was over, I decided to continue receiving colonic treatments. So I inquired with the receptionist as to how much a session cost, she advised me that there were 3 packages that I could choose from. Pkg #1 - 3 sessions for $195 Pkg #2 - 5 sessions for $540 Pkg #3 - 9 sessions for $925 or just one colonic session for $75 So I chose Pkg #1. I paid in full right on the spot and booked my 3 appointments. Once my 3 sessions were over, I wanted to purchase another 3 sessions. The receptionist told me that the price was going to be $240. I told her I only paid $195 for the last 3 sessions. She said that was a promotion deal and now the regular price was $240. This clinic never mentioned anything about promotion deals when I purchased my 1st package. I asked to speak to a manager and the receptionist told me that she was not available and she would have to take down my name and number and call me back that day. That was literally 4 months ago and I still have not received a call back from this place. I even called and asked to speak with my colonic therapist. The receptionist states she's busy and doesn't take client phone calls. These people are just scam artist trying to take your money. CONS: Not transparent with their prices Charge whatever they want at any given time Receptionist doesn't relay messages to the manager Manager doesn't follow up with the customer to resolve any issues Clinic just takes advantage of your business. Horrible parking - Very small tiny parking lot with only 2 spaces dedicated to the center for customer parking. Either park on the street or drive around in circles.. I wish I could keep this short but there is a lot of great things to say about the place. I'm a 50 yr old female with mature and extremely sensitive skin and unfortunately taking regular care of my face didn't save me from having deep wrinkles and saggy skin. At least not until last December, when I visited the Florade Wellness Center. This place is not exactly a "spa." Though it has a relaxing zen-like atmosphere complete with soothing music and candles like a spa, at the foundation is medical grade equipment and a very professional knowledgeable supporting staff worthy of a medical center. Alexandria was incredibly meticulous, gentle and she made me feel very comfortable from the very beginning. When assessing my skin needs and performing the facial, Alexandria explained each step and the products used (she has her own line of specially developed skin care products!) and was never in a hurry. We started with microdermabresion combined with laser treatment, continued with a chemical peel and finished with an oxygen treatment. When I looked in the mirror I couldn't believe my eyes! Years were erased from my face, wrinkles diminished and skin tightened. I looked as if I have had a face lift. My first thought was OMG! My second - it is not going to last (yeah, I was skeptical) but I was wrong, not only did the results last - but they improved. Needless to say I immediately asked Alexandria to recommend skin care products. She didn't talk my head off and never tried to push me to buy anything, instead she picked only a couple of products and they worked miracle on my face: Alexandria Collagen-Elastin Cream and Alexandria HA+Collagen Serum. Then she gave me a body lotion as a gift (that was so sweet of her!). I was so encouraged by the results and the very affordable price of the procedures that I booked my second appointment and now I'm a regular client! I look forward to every visit and it's not only because of the absolutely unbelievable high level of expertise and services, but also Alexandria's pleasant personality and attitude. So I scheduled myself on a Monday for a Wednesday appt. I got the deal from groupon for $99. Wednesday was my only day off so I went there for my 6pm appt. when I got there, the receptionist said that I dont have an appt that day and the nurse left already. She claims that it was cancelled and rescheduled for Aug 16 for a laser hair removal on the back (so silly coz I don't even have hairs on my back). The other staff in white gown pop up and asked me about my name. She said that she was the one who cancelled the appt (she got confused obviously). I decided to cancel my groupon deal and definitely won't schedule or think of getting a deal from them. These people are scammers. They're rude, unprofessional, and ineffective. I bought two IPLs on Groupon. I showed up for my appointment and they asked me if I was ready for my colonic. I was like, excuse me? Then one of the women told me that she had called me the night before to prepare me for my colonic, which was a lie. Anyways, after they conceded that I had not, in fact, scheduled a colonic, I waited for 20 extra minutes for the woman to show up for my IPL treatment. She was nice enough, but the treatment did not work. I'm pretty sure that the machine is not standard and plan reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Elysia has been dubbed the colon-whisperer for a reason. She makes the process so quick and informative that the anal umbilical chord nearly becomes invisible--and that's saying a lot. I didn't use my Walkman once because we were that engaged in colon-conversation. I suggest getting the 3-session Groupon deal over the 1. You'll want to come back to be "thorough." In addition to a great colonic, Elysia also had plenty of feedback regarding my eating habits. I bought a groupon for 6 sessions of laser hair removal and I had tried making an appointment over the phone but no one would pick up! Over a course of three days, all of my calls were left unanswered. I had heard that their laser hair removal machine was getting cleaned, so fine, I get that. But I'm just curious as to why my phone calls were ignored. I finally was able to make an appointment here for my first session(scheduled for today at 4p), but they just called me past 3 to tell me that my appointment was cancelled. Apparently because their machine stopped working. I understand that these things happen, but when you talk to a customer in a very unsympathetic way, it is just unacceptable. It's upsetting that I had waited so long just to get an appointment with them only to have it cancelled not more than one hour before my appointment. I was explaining to the lady on the phone how upsetting this was, but she just kept cutting me off! Very disrespectful. I wasn't even offered a new appointment right away. Multiple people that have spoken to me over the phone have no manners. And judging by their lack of customer service, I'm not sure this place will be any good. I have wasted so much of my time on this disastrous establishment. I regret spending my money towards this place. I'm not sure I will be back. They called me to reschedule my 2nd session for the 2nd time...called to cancel AGAIN (I asked them for a refund). I bought the groupon 2 IPL's for $85. I wanted to do my neck and chest too, they charged me $250 for this, plus what I paid for the face, at the Studio City location. Four days later.... There is zero difference. None of the pigmentation has changed. It's supposed to get darker and slough off. So instead of calling I decided to stop in and show them why I'm completely dissatisfied. They actually said that the setting they used was good and asked me if I wanted to cancel me next apt, I asked for another treatment free of charge and they said no. That's the last groupon I buy and this place is a complete joke. Total waste of $300. I mostly upset at myself for going there in the first place. But it's been over 3 months of me reaching out to the clinic trying to schedule an appointment for laser treatments and their machine is broken. I prepaid for my treatments and each time I called in (once a month for the past 3 months) to schedule an appointment someone promised to call me back and let me know when their machine would be back up. (No one ever called) The last time I spoke to someone, she said "someone was coming in to fix it today" and they would call me back to reschedule. It's been about a month and a half and no one ever called me. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to finish my treatments with them, at this rate I don't know if they plan to ever fix their machine. I have now had five appointments at Florade; three IPL facials (Groupon) and microderm abrasion. I *highly* recommend this place. - I was able to schedule appointments fairly easily. - Gelena and Alexa *understand skin*!!! Instead of like other places I have been, these ladies took the time to make an overall assessment: my skin tone, talked about my skin history, my diet & any meds, and my work schedule (if I have days to recover from any procedures, or not)... knowing that it all factors in to treatment decisions. - With Gelena's IPL facials, I have left GLOWING. After her assessment and listening to my history, she used mild settings followed up by facial massages (heaven!)... Again, unlike other places that go to extreme settings thinking that will yield better results with my skin (and have actually hurt my skin instead!) My boyfriend actually said my skin looked "photoshopped" on the weeks I have seen Gelena because my skin was clear, smooth, and bright. - Alexa's microderm, also heavenly! I had a party I was going to, so I told her I wanted to look youthful and glowing. As the esthetician, she really understands the skin and what to recommend. My skin looked so fresh, it was if the fine lines on my forehead had been wiped away. I am really looking forward to doing a peel with her soon. If you get nothing else from this review, speaking to women and men getting procedures.... make sure the estheticians and RNs are *listening* to you - like they do at Florade - and are not afraid to actually try more mild settings if you have sensitive skin.... I read some crazy reviews for this place! I bought a groupon thing for IPL Photofacial and it seemed pretty standard... I've had some that I really felt worked right away and this wasn't one of them, but to be fair I just had one a couple weeks ago and I must say - my face still looks pretty good lol! They only charged $85 for 2 photofacials which is super cheap so you have to be kinda fair and not expect too much out of them :) So if y'all are lucky I'll leave another review after the 2nd photofacial and let you know if I still look awesome. I saw this place on Groupon and I thought I would give them a try . I went in purchased a package directly from them for three treatments . I had my first treatment it was okay saw no difference . I scheduled my second treatment they canceled on me last minute on the day of and said the therapist had an emergency and I was more then understanding and rescheduled to a later date which I then had to reschedule due to a work meeting running late and the owner texted me that she was going to charge me $50 as a " cancellation " fee and I asked her what about my last appointment that I was canceled last minute did I charge you guys a fee ? NO and then she had the nerve to say you changed your appointment last time and we waived the cancellation fee since when changing a appointment time grants a business to charge a cancellation fee ? Right now I can only leave 3 stars. I bought a groupon for 3 IPL treatments. The pigment in the area around my mouth was mildly helped by it but I would need at least 3 more to see much in the way of results. It would have been nice if this had been explained to me. Some people spoke of seeing "coffee ground" flaking, I didn't have this experience. On a positive note, the staff is really friendly, especially the medical staff who do the treatments. There is no redness or peeling afterwards, you can go about your normal routine after the gentle procedure. read more

Alexa is the best!!! I had cystic acne and used all kinds of prescribed medication nothing helped till I met Alexa. She worked with my skin type and offered a variety of treatments all in the correct order. We started of with chemical peels and then micro. My face has never been in such great condition as it is now. Not only is she amazing at what she does she is an amazing person inside and out. Like many other reviewers, I had a good colonic hydrotherapy session, but the front desk scheduling is horrible. I'm not really sure what is going on with them, but 2 of my 3 appointments needed to be rescheduled and I had to fight for them to not push the appointment 2 weeks after the initial. Colonics are very time sensitive, so it was a very frustrating process working with front desk staff/management that were not being diligent regarding this issue. The price is good when you get it on groupon, but definitely not worth it any other way. As for the actual colonic, I saw 2 different tech and this was my first session. It's hard for me to compare them as a result. What I will say is they walked me through the process very nicely and seemed to be doing a thorough job. I didn't start seeing results until my 3rd one, but from my understanding that is how it usually goes. read more

A friend recommended the colon hydrotherapy. I never did this before but my friend said to ask for Doree. She was awesome! The treatment relieved pressure from gas and bloating! Visited Florade Wellness Center in February after an unpleasant experience at Advanced Detox Center. This facility was recommended by a good friend of mine and so was the therapist Hilda. Hilda was much more calm, thus making me calm thus producing more waste elimination. She explained everything step by step, was very gentle, and allowed me to control the session of water filling and gravity suction. She had a diagram of a colon and broke down how each session cleans different parts of the colon and cleared up the incorrect information I received at Advanced Detox Center. It is totally NORMAL for you to not eliminate a lot your first couple of sessions because your colon has to get use to being hydrated that way. (Shame on Advanced Detox for lying and trying to scare me!) Hilda earned herself a tip, a hug and a twerk session in the parking lot afterwards! I look forward to seeing her again! Now as far as the office manager, she was out of line knocking on the door as I sat there half naked to tell Hilda she had another client. It's not my fault the person before me was running late thus making my session start late. She also seemed a little bothered that I didn't want to buy a package of 3 sessions. Good place to go for IPL I bought 2 IPL for 85 a few months ago and until today, I finished my last one, To be honest, I didn't see good results(or i should say any results) on my first treatment. The lady took care of me but I didn't see the results that I expected. Today, I went there for my second treatment. The lady that helped me do IPL was nice. I felt a little pain in the procedure but it was ok. After I took shower at night, I saw little dark black things came out from my face. And I can see that my sun spots are lighter than before! I like this place. But they told me I can't use another grounpon with them within 6 months. Otherwise, I will go again. read more

Her personable and calming nature really helps when coming in for an appointment. She genuinely cares about the health of the people she sees, and I am so happy I found her. She always has been very mindful of any of the concerns I have had with my health, and she has tremendous knowledge of what she does. So not sure if you read my original review, but I didn't go through with it last time, because I thought I may have been pregnant, but I wasn't so, I went all the way so to speak. I was horrified at first, but the lady who did it was very gentle and very kind, her name was Hilda Hito (5 stars for Hilda). Look, it's not my favorite thing to do, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was most nervous about the beginning, you know, putting the thing up there, but it turned out to be the easiest part of it all. It was uncomfortable, but not painful during the whole process, and Hilda has a calming way about her and she's very knowledgeable about the whole process, so it eased my mind. Do note, that they suggest about 6 sessions for the average person and to have them in close succession, so going once is kind of just the tip of the ice burg. I'm not going to be able to go back right away, but once you see the devil that lives inside of you, you will probably, like me be motivated to commit to a series of several sessions. Good luck!
