I was very disappointed in my wedding bouquets last year. I explicitly said I did not want red roses in our bouquets because my bridesmaids dresses were burgundy. I made them write it down multiple times and underline it. They didn't put any burgundy flowers in the bridesmaids bouquets, but of course they did put red ones. They also put blue thistle in their bouquets and mine. I had told them to remove those from my order months before since the groomsmen were going to be in gray suits instead of navy. We had to cut some of the blue thistle out of the girls bouquets since it didn't go at all with our colors. I paid $180 plus tax for my bouquet and it was soooo dark. They didn't arrange the colors so that the burgundy popped at all. It just looked like a blob of burgundy in photos and the bouquet only looked nice from the front. Any other angle it was not pretty. They also used bright red roses on my cake as well. I did not want aaaaaany red flowers at all. I made that super clear. I will say that the flowers in our archway at the alter were nice and in the centerpieces they used the right color burgundy instead of red. I would have preferred the centerpieces be the wrong shade since they weren't against the girls dresses. read more

Robert is AMAZING!!!! I was referred to Robert through friends and was happily suprised when I found out he was also the preferred vendor for my wedding at Wedgewood Vellano. Robert is passionate about his work and it showed right from our first consultation all the way to the day of the wedding. He listened to what we wanted and boy did he deliver! Prior to our wedding day, Robert set up a mock table so that we can see what they would look like on our wedding day. It was beautiful and both me and my fiance were so excited. A couple days later my fiance decided he wanted to change the color of the flowers on the centerpieces, not a problem. Robert listened and made the changes. A couple weeks later I decided I wanted to change the shape of our centerpiece flowers and again, not a problem. Robert was so flexible, patient, and never made us feel bad about our changes. The day before our wedding we found out that our outdoor ceremony would have to be moved indoors due to rain. I was devastated. I called Robert immediately and was told to come into the office. Robert assured me he would make the ceremony beautiful and showed me some options for our ceremony decor. Not only did he calm me down, he got me excited about my indoor ceremony! My ceremony space was gorgeous, my bouquet is still blooming four days later, and the reception centerpieces transformed the room. Robert went above and beyond the call of duty. The zipper on my Maid of Honor's dress popped right before the ceremony and Robert actually helped sew her in! He didn't stop there, he walked me to the ceremony room and helped calm my nerves. He didn't leave my side until it was time to walk down the aisle. Honestly, I don't know what I would have done without Robert. So, I'll be honest: flowers are not my thing. I thought when I started prepping for the wedding that I'd just get flowers from the DTLA flower market and just make them myself. I really didn't want to spend money on something that would wither and die within days. But, boy am I converted. Our first meeting with Samantha was a disaster. Not because of her! My mom had promised to say nothing at all at this meeting, and that lasted all of 10 mins. I left that hour long meeting feeling super confused and embarrassed that I had wasted Samantha's time. I sent a really long email to her, explaining more clearly what my vision was for the centerpieces, aisle decor, the bouquets, and boutonnieres. She not only replied within record time (I have never had problems reaching anyone in this office), but was knowledgeable, patient, understanding, and resourceful. We were getting married at a time when the pandemic hadn't made its way yet around the globe, but had definitely already worsened in China and some other parts of the world. So Samantha and Renee both worked hard to provide us the vision I had (California desert), despite challenges in some of those flowers/plants no longer deliverable due to travel restrictions. I was so bummed! Blushing brides were some of my favorite suggestions they had given me and they would no longer be possible. They were upfront, and quick to help me make decisions so that nothing was held up, and the high quality of the results was preserved. They sent me mock ups of the centerpieces and even worked with me after the initial meeting to find the right florals and colors, sending me suggestions that I could look up online. The flowers as you can see from the pictures, were simply stunning. The week we were getting married the weather changed constantly. I had originally planned to use a chiffon draping along with some paper crepe flowers I had bought already. However, because I was so afraid of getting rained out, I called them the week of, and in desperation asked if it would be possible to get a corner spray for the arch at the last minute. They went above and beyond by simply extending our previous conversations' choices and vision and created this gorgeous piece that provided the arch so much beauty. The day of, they coordinated everything, and occasionally checked in with me to see if I was satisfied with it all. Now mind you, I'm a cheapskate. I wanted to do as much DIY as possible, and flowers are not cheap. However, for what we got, it was a bargain. Altogether I think we spent around $1,200 on bride's bouquets, 3 bridesmaid bouquets, 9 bouttonieres, corner spray for the arch, aisle decor, and 14 centerpieces, and they provided us with an extra complimentary bouquet for the bouquet toss. They even gave us the extra cuttings so that our friend who made the cake could decorate the cake with them. I still have some of the extras and it's now gracing my home! Everything was beyond my expectations. I can only say, thank you so, so much Samantha and Renee for making this day one of the most beautiful and cherished moments in my life. The only reason for the three star is that we had difficulty with communication which was a big deal for me as I was planning from afar. When calling many times Robert is out or in a meeting but he either never gets back or his secretary doesn't give him the message (not sure which). Also with emails you need to call to make sure they received them. I had to reach out to him on the last day to make changes to go over the boutineers and corsages. Flowers were beautiful even though the Ranunculus were held up in customs and Robert had to scramble to find a replacement. I absolutely loved my bouquet and center pieces. read more

We worked with Floral Sensations as a vendor used by our wedding venue, the Champions Club at the Retreat in Corona. Our wedding package included the wedding arch, but we wanted something slightly different from their normal swag. We worked with Samantha to set up an appt about less than a month from our wedding date. She took her time and gave us quotes on additional flowers (bouquets and boutonnieres for bridal party). (We were doing our own centerpieces that required only a few flowers that my party could DIY.) As a whole, the estimate was out of our budget, so we just ended up doing my bouquet $145 (toss bouquet was free) and groom's bout $12 with this vendor. We went to another vendor in Downtown LA to do the rest of the bridal party bouquets and bouts, as well as the parents' floral (which wasn't as nice as Floral Sensations). Other tips: - the vendor delivers floral close to start time, so flowers look fresh. This was a bit stressful since we took our first look photos before ceremony. - we were able to use the arch floral and place it on our sweetheart table during ceremony. - send inspirations photos of floral you have in mind Although they were nice, I deducted stars because they didn't do the swag as we requested, nor was my bouquet similar to what I had asked. Flowers did however arrive late to my venue so they weren't any very many of my pictures and my cake flowers never made it on the cake, for some unknown reason. Reached out for a refund on only the money I paid for cake flowers. I was told I'd get a check. They called multiple times for my address... check never came. The contract says no refunds so I wasn't too surprised by this. Creativity and taste is there for sure but I think customer service could be a tad better. Its not easy planning a wedding from out of state. Honestly from the moment I walked in to meet Robert I felt like family. Even my mother and grandmother who I took with me fell in love with him. I had no direction in how I wanted my flowers, but somehow he pulled the vision from my head and threw together a sample. I was feeling a little discouraged at first but after our first meeting I was energized, happy and excited. The team always responded quickly to emails and were very nice to me even when I forgot one of my appointments (sorry Guys!). He told me that my dress was all wrong for me. I emailed Robert this information with a picture and said I was doubting my choice. (I didn't even meet Robert until day of my wedding, but he knew exactly what I wanted!) The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because one of our huge flower vases fell over during the ceremony and actually hit my husband! Granted it was a windy day, we were told that they would be mounted down with museum glue to keep them from falling. I realize accidents happen and we weren't mad. It will be a funny story for the future. But since the promise was made that there would be no problem with wind and floral arrangements would be okay I have to take away one star.
