But we wanted to support our local community in Riverside, and The Natural of Things was a local favorite, owned by a mother and daughter. I reached out to the flower shop and spoke with Mandy. After sending her our inspiration wedding flower arrangement photos she was on it with the photos. My wedding was on December 20, 2025, which is winter, so I asked Mandy about spring flowers for my bouquets. I wanted peonies, roses, protea, ranunculus, hanging amaranthus, astilbe, hypericum, snapdragons, antique carnations, variegated ti leaf, nagi leaf, and camellia leaf. All the bouquets would be tied with a magenta silk ribbon, and I would have handles for the maid of honor and bridesmaids. For the groom, best man, groomsmen, and ushers, I wanted like lapel boutonnieres made with coordinating florals and botanicals, tied with a magenta silk ribbon handle. I asked Mandy for a lot, and she assured me she'd do her best to create the flowers for me. Throughout the process, Mandy kept us in the loop with clear communication. As the wedding date approached, she emailed us the proposal for our review. It was an impressive proposal, detailing the expected average weather temperature: 68 degrees (high) and 46 degrees (low) in December, along with the floral lists. It was so detailed and organized, it was amazing! On our wedding day, we arranged for the flowers to be delivered to our home. We met with Mandy and Dawn who were absolutely wonderful! They took the time to show us how to pin the lapel boutonnieres on our jackets. Plus, they were so careful to keep all the flowers in a separate vase of water. Dawn explained how I should hold my bouquets, and I have to say, my bouquets were heavy with all the beautiful magenta flowers and their lovely fragrance. When I handed out the flowers to my maid-of-honor and bridesmaids, they couldn't believe how beautiful they were--and the groom, best man, groomsmen, and ushers were just as impressed. The ordering process is smooth and efficient, with timely delivery and excellent communication. I had the pleasure of connecting with Liz, who is both knowledgeable and attentive. She ensures each arrangement is thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented. In my role in HR, I recently ordered a floral arrangement for an employee who had experienced a loss. After confirming the delivery address near The Flower Alley, the arrangement was delivered as scheduled. Unfortunately, no one was home at the time, and the flowers were left on the porch. Liz promptly contacted me to inform me of the delivery. When I reached out to the employee, he had recently moved and realized he had not updated his address with HR. I contacted Liz to explain the situation, and she graciously returned to the residence to retrieve the arrangement and brought it back to her shop. I was then able to pick up the flowers directly and ensure they were delivered properly. I am in love with The Flower Alley. I am an event coordinator and when I order flowers from The Flower Alley they are always so fresh and full. Their entire team really goes above and beyond to give you what you want. I asked them to created an arrangement for a memorial for my companies annual walk. They helped me with drop-off of the flowers and created a two piece arrangement that could be place around a tree and make it look like one large arrangement. I had the florist deliver my order to be delivered by a certain because a friend of mine was going to be out of town and I needed to make sure that she received her flowers before noon. But I forget just how reliable it is, I tell the whoevers working my budget and what exactly I want and they make it right there on the spot.
