Flore is a more recent addition to the Duboce Triangle & Castro neighborhood and we had been impatiently waiting to know what they were cookin' up as they renovated the space. Ah-ha! A dispensary, not just ant dispensary, but one that champions local growers and cultivators. Now that's the cannabis spirit we like to see from our neighborhood dispensary. It gives it a local charm, and the staff are very helpful to guide you through some options. They have good promotions here and there, make sure to come on an Wednesday afternoon/early evening during the summer for Castro Farmer's Market deals. I hate the dispensaries that everything is behind the counter and you feel like a pain asking questions or looking at product. Flore has everything on display and they encourage you to smell and look at the bud, even offering coffee beans to neutralize your senses between sniffs. The service was fine but this place is expensive and there were absolutely no discounts for anything. It's a little odd. Every other dispensary that I've been to have some type of deal going on. There was also a $5 credit card fee which is very steep. I ended up paying quite a bit for one, cheap preroll. I probably won't be returning. Expensive. Rude. I'm a specific pot purchaser, and I came to Flore today because my regular places in the city were out of what I wanted. Flore's cost for flowers was nearly 18 dollars more than the same product purchased elsewhere--a 1/8th cost $70. Dispensaries frequently offer a "first-time customer" offer, which I inquired about. A gentleman, who I assume was the manager, who did not stand up and could barely look up from his phone while talking to me, said they're "between offers right now" and "sorry because it's usually a standard thing," which landed poorly for me. I get a discount at Purple Star, because I'm over 60--every day. A service fee added at checkout contributed to the excessive cost. Also, a tip request area popped up to see if I wanted to pay even more. My hand hovered for a moment, but No. They mentioned they would "note my account for the future," but it was unclear what for. It always irks me if I'm disappointed in a good or service and am told, "Here's a discount for your next purchase." No, I do not want to come back, actually. read more

Once again Flore does not disappoint. Product is top notch, customer service is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I got the Flore LemonTree Runtz and it was delicious. Stopped in here for the first time today; super cute store and friendly folks, but bummed to find once I got home that the Kurvana cartridge I purchased (labeled and priced as 1g) was only 0.5g. It's a good product and all, but I wish that the signage in the case was correct so I knew what I was getting. read more

Brand new dispensary that just opened yesterday 12/17/21!!! 4 years in the making but well worth the wait!! They are located in the Castro district area where there's plenty of restaurants to chooose from for when the munchies hit after cannabis consumption. Customer service is what sets them apart from other dispensaries in sf or the Bay Area. They welcome you from the moment you register and walk through the door. Flore is a mixed bag. I've used them in-person four or five times. The tenders are average product savvy and not super helpful -- I'd suggest the nearby Apothecarium or Eureka if you need honest-to-god advice from staff. The vibe's not great (although the doorfolks are welcoming!), but a plus is that it's well-arranged for browsing. Also, efficient - you can be in and out pretty quick. Flore does have good selection, especially in flower, but product descriptions are minimal. I don't even use Flore's online menu - no potency info. C'mon, it's 2022! Prices are pretty competitive for the neighborhood. I've been happy with all the product I've purchased here. Flore is a little more "grass roots" in structure than the chains like Apothecarium, with a terrific business ethic, so that and location/convenience keep Flore on my radar. read more
