We arrived at 2pm on Sunday not knowing that Google showed the incorrect hours. Fair enough since it was a holiday weekend and we should have called ahead to ask about their hours. The second time we tried to come, we tried coming on a Sunday again. We called a day before so we could double check if they would be open. They told us on the phone that they would be open. Their hours on Sundays are from 10am-2pm. We show up around 12:30pm, but they were closed again even though their sign said they close at 2pm on Sundays. Needless to say this will be the last time we try to come here.

Our sommelier highlighted a number of awards that Georgetown Winery has won for their wines. Our sommelier was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely happy to share samples of their wines. It was delightful speaking with the sommelier regarding Georgetown wines. The peach wine was our favorite. If you want to learn more about wines, a tasting at Georgetown Winery is the way to go.
