For me the drinks were okay. Nothing really stood The blue drink with the spirulina called the yamanas was one of my favorites I didn't really care for the negroni but then again I don't really like negroni's Transatlantico fizz was not my favorite at all. Well, I don't like overly sweet drinks. This one was fairly bland Egipto was good. For dessert, pistachio gelato was great. We also got the Argentinian donut desserts which were For those looking for the speakeasy vibe, this would definitely fit. It's located inside a flower shop. You get the opportunity to hang your coat or bring it inside. The ambiance of the lounge itself is very nice. I like that they have couches and it's good for people watching. They also have a DJ who's playing music late at night and they are open late Parking in this area is on the street and they also have an adjacent lot which you have to pay for. Usually in the summer I walk but this is one of those times where I had to drive. I had no problems finding parking on k Street and walking up the hill Service was good. No issues at all I think anyone in the area looking to try the speakeasy should do so but it's not one of my favorite speakeasies in DC.

Really cool dope concept with a flower shop up top with a full bar and lounge hidden underneath. Once you walk in they take you to a door that leads downstairs into this vibey, cool lounge and bar space. Like the name, it gives underwater vibes. Deep blues, low mood lights and visuals that feel like you're in the ocean. It's a great space for dinner or for drinks with friends or a date. Later in the evening a DJ came on and added to the vibes. I would go back just for that. The service was great. The bartenders were very friendly and did a great job of answering all of our questions. They gave us good drink recommendations which we really appreciated. The food was solid. We ordered the wings, king crab empanadas, fries and the lomo completo. The standout items were the fries and the drinks. The cocktails are on the pricier side but are worth it. For desert we tried the chocotorta and we were a bit underwhelmed. We ordered it because we saw a beautiful version of it online, but what we got was smaller and looked totally different. It still tasted fine but we were disappointed that it wasn't what we expected. Overall Floreria Atlantico has great vibes and great drinks. I will definitely add this to the list of cool places to kick it for a good time and good vibe. I would be open to trying other items on the menu and I will definitely come back for the drinks.

Cool flower-shop quasi wine store with a speakeasy bar and restaurant attached. Popped in here after having dinner at the restaurant Brasero Atlantico. Got a bottle of red wine as a souvenir for the road.

Loved that the check-in is in a floral shop. The cocktails were perfectly made. We ordered a side of fries to snack on and the shrimp cocktail, too. Eating at the tables was a little awkward, like maybe they could've been a little higher. Not sure if I would come here for food but I absolutely would come back for a pre-dinner cocktail.

Definitely feel like they are trying too hard. It's confusing to enter because the restaurant next door has the address above it so we didn't know where to enter. Luckily the restaurant can check the speakeasy's reservations. We had a reservation and service was great. Vibe was mixed (90s music and a seaside theme). The drinks were delicious and many had interesting ingredients. Most food was not large enough to be sharable. I ordered the steak with chimichurri, and while the steak had a good flavor, it was not cooked to my requested temperature and was pretty fatty and difficult to cut. The flatbreads were the best part of the dish. Not on my list for a return visit.

Little gem in Georgetown although it does get more packed the later it gets. This speakeasy has knowledgeable bartenders , a dj (went on a Saturday) and pretty cool bathrooms. Although there is only two and people do love taking photos in them. Very cool place . I did not have any food just drinks and the service was very fast

Came here opening week and had a great time. The flower shop is beautiful, cheerful, and carries a small assortment of Argentinian pastries. In the back is a refrigerator door which takes you downstairs to the speakeasy. The bar has a 90s, underwater vibe. I wasn't a fan of the carpeting of it though - it made the place feel like a hotel bar a bit. Nonetheless, a great wine and cocktail menu. We opted for a bottle of wine which the sommelier helped us choose. This is not a dinner place. The menu has light snacks to accompany drinks. I recommend the tuna crudo and ossobucco empanadas (comes with 2 per order). Visitors near us were complaining about the wait time for cocktails being 20 to 30 minutes. It didn't bother us since this is fairly normal when a new place opens.

My friends and I went here for a late night spot, from 12-2am, and we had an absolute blast. We initially sat in a white leather booth near the bar and DJ, but wanted room to dance, so we moved nearer the disco ball. The DJ played a variety of bangers from Bad Bunny to Candy Shop to Britney Spears. The staff was so friendly and everyone was dancing near the end. We split a $60 crisp Sauvignon Blanc kept chilled by an ice bucket.

Super cool spot for a cocktail! We were able to sit at the bar without a reservation, but I suggest making one. The drinks are pricey, but the atmosphere is pretty cool.

Florería Atlántico is hidden in the back of a floral shop, which is such a cute touch. The whole vibe is moody, cozy, and a little mysterious in the best way. I got the ossobuco and the crab empanada, and definitely recommend trying both. They were incredible. Also tried the ostra atlántica (you only get one oyster, but it was really good) and the choripán costanera, which I loved too. Service was great, drinks were also great, and the music added to the whole experience. Such a cool spot. Perfect for date night or cocktails with friends.

This is such a perfect spot for either a date night or a fun night out with friends. The speakeasy vibe, the chic atmosphere, and the music (a smooth, chill house mix) all come together so effortlessly. Plus, being open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays is a huge bonus. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time - this place stays busy for a reason. From my previous visit, I remember having a ravioli dish, what I believe was a braised beef, and their sliders with duck fat fries - all of which were incredible and clearly memorable since I was thinking about them for months. The sliders paired with those fries were honestly a standout. This time around, we had to get the duck fat fries again, and they were just as phenomenal as I remembered. The cheesesteak oysters were easily a 10/10 - fresh, meaty, and honestly surprising coming from someone who used to not even like oysters. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was well-seasoned (as expected, slightly chewy), and the fried calamari, which was light, not heavy at all, and paired perfectly with the sauces. The tuna tartare was another standout - super fresh, soft, and practically melted in your mouth. For drinks, we went all in. The Dirty Diamond martini with blue cheese olives was great, though if you like your martinis extra filthy, I'd recommend specifying that. The Hemingway Special had a nice subtle sour kick, and the vanilla mint espresso martini was strong (you can definitely taste the alcohol) but still smooth and frothy. The Mary Pickford with Malibu was surprisingly delicious - almost like a mocktail. The Paloma was solid, and the Code Red cocktail gave me slight cosmopolitan vibes. But the real star was the dulce de leche espresso martini--absolutely unforgettable. What really ties everything together here is the service. The staff - from the hosts to the servers - are attentive, welcoming, and genuinely elevate the experience. Overall, Code Red is one of those places you keep coming back to. If you're looking for a stylish speakeasy atmosphere with great food, drinks, and energy, this is it.

March 7, 2026 at 2:30 PM for Brunch…read more TL,DR: Love the ambiance and the service was great but I felt as if the food was pretty average for cost. Additionally, the bill includes a 22% auto-gratuity no matter the size of your party, and the machine prompts you with the option to add more when paying. Ambiance (5/5): This is one of the most visually appeasing restaurants I have been too. The entrance on the street level that descends into a basement restaurant after exiting the spiral staircase is definitely one for the books. On top of this, the shade of pink used for the walls creates a vibe that is not only beautiful, but in my opinion keeps those in the restaurant in a soothing mood. This was extremely noticeable as it is a small seating area in the main area, and it wasn't loud even though it was fairly packed. It's also important to note that the restaurant does extend into a bar area and a back room. We were offered to sit in the bar area but chose the main area. Service (4/5): The service was great Our service was very attentive and checked-in on us multiple times. Not only was he friendly, but wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The only reason I gave a 4/5 was because, our server did forget pepper that we asked for twice, but another friendly team member went the extra mile to help us. Food (3/5): I ordered the Skillet Seafood Omelette for myself, and shared the French Toast Bread Pudding with my friend. The French Toast was nothing short of phenomenal, and I'd return to get that just based on how good it tasted alone. However, the Skillet Seafood Omelette did not quite meet my expectations. Although well made, I found it to be an average taste and something I could have made at home. First, I expected a traditional omelette, but this was a frittata at it's core. I am not a fan of frittata's because in my opinion they bring out all of the worst parts of the egg taste, and had I known it was a frittata and not an omelette, I would have ordered something different. Special Note: This weren't taken into consideration for rating but I thought it was important to note that a 22% auto-gratuity is added to your bill no matter the size of your party, and when you pay, it has the audacity to ask for an extra tip on top of that. Anytime I see this as a restaurant I note it, as I normally tip 20% unless service is bad, and reserve anything higher than 20% for exceptional service.
