    Outdoor patio bar

Came here for their Golden Hour (their happy hour) and had such an incredible time! The place is adorable with the cutest outdoor patio ever. It feels like you're in Spain or something. There's lots of seats and a bar in the back so it's perfect for a romantic date night or for snacks and wine with friends! The Golden Hour is an awesome happy hour with food for $7/$10 and bottles of wine of $40. The food is incredible! I loved everything but the White Queso and Chicken Taquitos were my favorite. The staff is also super lovely and the food/wine comes out quick. I'm excited to be back and sit outside as the weather gets nicer!

So so cute here, and the food and drinks were good to beat! Especially appreciated all the fans on the outdoor patio to make it a bearable evening in the DC heat!

This place is absolutely adorable and every little girl's dream. As you walk on, you're immediately greeted by an en explosion of florals lining the walls and ceiling. We happened to be there during happy hour (score!). The prices are quite reasonable at $10 per glass for happy hour wines, and they have a better selection than most places I've been to. The elote fritters, salad, and my fish tacos were all very good. My only complaints were that the salad had onions and my friend said it didn't have them last time she went, and I wish my fish tacos had a bit more fish. It was pretty quiet when we first arrived but it got very loud by the time we left. Otherwise, food and drinks all arrived quickly and exactly as we ordered them. I officially love this place.

Happy hour review & holiday drink options Solid wine options for happy hour! The regions were decent and it's not their top selections of course, but you get a solid option at a discount so that's a win! $10 glasses The cocktails are batched which is a disappointment. I find they always have that batched taste to it and as a person with a lot of allergies it's hard to order something because you can't do substitutions. However, I Did enjoy the mulled wine old fashion. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's a bit odd to order from a QR code when seated at the bar but I'm sure that's useful for tables. The bartender was available to answer questions as needed. Recommend the fries! Sauce on the side because I think the sauce comes down to a taste preference and your fries will be drenched in it. It's somewhat like a mayo based secret sauce taste to it. Like what u might find on a fast food burger. Enjoyed but glad I got it on the side.

Great service and the back patio is such a vibe! I want to go back before the fall event ends and check out the fall cocktails. Lulu's is like a hidden oasis in U Street that I didn't know existed for far too long! Stopped by for brunch and ordered the combo--Chilaquiles Funfetti cake Vino Verde All in one delicious deal! And yes... I'm already planning my return for Winetoberfest (Sept 24-Nov 9)--pumpkin espresso martinis and bourbon apple slushies, anyone?

Went at Christmas time and had a blast! Had such fantastic cocktails and can't wait to try the new seasonal ones. Definitely need to go back as soon as possible! Great for a girls night!

Chill spot for a drink and bites; I tried Lulu's for the first time with a friend during their holiday pop-up a few weeks ago. Loved the selection of seasonal drinks and snacks to accompany. Order using QR code at your table. Servers are still checking in on you during your visit.

Went with a group of five and sat in the back outdoor seating. It did rain but luckily they have an awning that they can open or close. It's gorgeous when it's open and nice out! Even in the heat, there are fans running to help move the air around. The ambiance is cute and cozy! Our table consisted of single chairs and the other half was a bench full of cozy pillows. All the staff were very friendly. We ordered through the QR code, which was very efficient. The whipped feta paired very well on the perfectly toasted bread!! The chicken taquitos were crunchy and flavorful. It seems like you can't go wrong with anything here. We also ordered a few white wine bottles and they were all delicious. I'd go back! The ambiance is lovely and this is the perfect spot for a date night or chill gathering with friends. It's a great spot to grab drinks and food!

I absolutely love the vibe here. If you find yourself on Ust and your first plan doesn't go well. Lulu will save the day. Better yet, just plan to start here. Super quick service, staff is amazing. The food is consist. What more can you ask for?!

We went here for Sunday music bingo and honestly it was the BEST time. My friend and I actually both got bingo and she received a tiny bottle of rose and I won a $15 gift card (which I'm very excited to use soon). We got a bottle of white wine to share during the game and it was so delicious--I wish I could remember the name because genuinely it was so tasty!! The service is all done through the toast app/on your phone, but everything comes out super quick. We got our fries within five minutes. And they were so tasty. The sauce is EVERYTHING! We wanted to order another but didn't because we were trying to hold ourselves accountable hahaha. I want to try more of their menu! I love how Lulu's has so many fun events and little activities throughout the week. It's a great way to meet people and create a little community. Plus the vibes are awesome because they have a floral theme with flowers hanging from the walls and ceilings. It makes for the cutest and girliest spot--I love it! I cannot wait to come back.

Grilled Chicken Club was really good and filling. Mildly spicy sauce on the side was a good choice for me

Pros: very peaceful and pretty spacious back patio. Happy hour until 7 on week nights. Good food (tacos and grilled chicken sandwich) Con: our heater wasn't working. Not the hugest selection of wines by the glass. I hadn't been to the space since it was the previous wine bar a long time ago. This place isn't so fancy like that place, but the patio is definitely a win on a nice day, especially with the happy hour!

I'm in my wine phase. I was eager to go to a wine bar on a recent trip to DC. We had originally tried to go to another shop, however, they did not update their hours, so we ended up coming to this lovely gem. I was so happy this super charming spot was nearby. It has a really cute aesthetic that will look amazing in all your Yelp photos. I loved the holiday decorations. My fiancé and I ordered two glasses of wine here. He got a glass of the Time Machine Rouge that was a special of the night and I ordered a glass of the Lambrusco Rose Lini 910 Italy. We were seated at a large table where we played some card games. It's a wonderful spot to meet up with friends and get good wine. I loved both of our drinks. They also had a lot of great food offerings on their menu. I'd definitely return and recommend this cute spot.

Went with a few of my girls and it was such a fun place to grab some apps and have a few drinks. Definitely worth the visit and the interior was very welcoming and cozy. Food and service were both great as well. Highly recommend!

It's a basement bar with a bit of a dive vibe, but it's hard to ignore the nautical, blue crab theme throughout. Turns out that one of the owners is a Marylander, which is cool to see reflected in the decor in a place in dc, even though it is next door. They have a happy hour and they have a great variety of drinks in general. It's bring-your-own-food (BYOF) and there are a bunch of delicious looking Asian spots nearby, including upstairs. It didn't start getting crowded until closer to 10, which, as I said, is surprising for this part of town to me. Loved the moody vibe of the wine bar, it felt very cool, cozy and sophisticated. We sat in a booth under a red light so unfortunately my food picture turned out super red. Friends loved the selection of orange wine, and we ordered mcbetty truffle fries, shrimp scampi, honey whipped goat cheese, shishito peppers, and caesar salad for 4 people. Highlights were definitely the shrimp scampi with focaccia and fries, with the goat cheese on bread as a close third. A little pricy for the portions but honestly impressed with the variety of flavors and quality of the food. Service was ok, food came out a little slower than expected. I had really hoped to pick up some pastries (miss those baked joint cupcakes!) but seems like they don't sell them in evening. I'll have to come back for brunch/lunch to get some!

You seat yourself and order at the bar, servers will bring you your food as it's ready. The food was good, but portions were tiny. The whole menu is labeled as shareable, but the butter beans literally had maybe 15 beans with toothpicks to share... the fries were pretty good, but for $12 for just a bowl of fries, I would expect exceptional. I liked the chili crisp salmon, but it didn't blow me away, and the portion size for $18 was so small. I did think the Parker house rolls were fantastic, and they came out piping hot, which was delightful. The mocktail option was also excellent! I really wish they would reconsider only having Baked and Wired pastries available in the morning- you only have one rotating cake option available for dessert, and it would've been nice to be able to enjoy more. I did not think the service experience here merited an automatic, unchangeable 20% gratuity. There's very minimal service- you are just brought your food and a water carafe. And while everything on the menu looked and tasted good, the tiny portions for items labeled as shareable didn't feel quite right. A fun place to stop in for a glass of wine, but I didn't love the experience enough to be eager to return.

Alem is an excellent server. Very professional and engaging. When I come back to this restaurant, I…read morewill definitely ask for her.

Arrived late this evening dropped bages and hustled down for supper before close…read more Nice folks, nice location in main lobby of the Westin... Now the review.. where on God's green earth in this day and age does an establishment that sells a hamburger NOT have an extra patty option??? The server was a good dude but told me each patty was an uncharted for an entire burger meal... my order is no bun, no fries, no salad and no fruit.... why the heck would I agree to 25 bucks for a patty as an add on... Ill pay the first hit as a matter of menu price but... not the same for just another patty.. I don't know what sort of vodoo happened here but the good staff figured it out and I got a couple of patties extra without the terrible fee... I did pay extra and thats great. Cant say ill come here again because without a standard approach, I cant say ill get the same price... standards matter. I get it Get on board please... this is not the stone age and we have technology... its also a very very common thing for extra protein.. This is not typical and id guess that less than 2% of the placedls I eat cant figure this out... DC was not a place I'd think would be stuck. Won't be eating here again for this week's stay simply because I dont want to have to wrangle the meal each time ... I just would like to eat and go.. Thank you for figuring it out late at night This is more for management... you got good food and good folks.. fix your POS please.
