Beyond what they needed to do, Lex walked through things that would be checked by the inspectors even on work they didn't do (GFCI plugs close to where the old unit was), and walked me through why they did some of the things they did because I was curious. We're 3 days in so far, but the installation experience was great, and the daikin system is cooling the house great (and I can already see from the energy monitoring systems we have, it's so much more efficient!).

I didn't appreciate the urgency (she said I needed it done asap, when I had at least 4 to 5 months). Aside from that, the communication from the project manager was competent & efficient. When Trout took over communication went haywire. During the city permitting process they said in their letter to me that I just needed to be home for (think the window was 8:30 to 9:45am). They said nothing about having to keep opening and closing my garage door access. Well, I refuse to use my PTO from work because they're not sure how long they're going to be, or the start and end times. So around 3 PM at work I got a frantic text from another (different) project manager asking me to open my garage. Well, hello, there is no power, so how can I open the garage? Finally, they got that sorted out and around 5 PM one of their techs asked me to open my garage. I never got a response back from him when I asked to confirm if he was done and I could shut it again (by the way, I was doing this remotely from work since I have an app.) Communication needs to greatly improve in order for me to recommend this business.

Since all of the wiring was stripped and reconnected during the panel replacement, I believe identifying and properly labeling the circuits should have been part of the job. The lack of ownership and follow-through was frustrating. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this service moving forward.

This morning, I awoke to find the upstairs bedrooms without power. Oddly enough, after fiddling with the circuit breaker, I also encountered inconsistent power supply issues in the living room and garage. Given my need for electricity to work and attend meetings from home, I urgently reached out to over 10 electricians in my vicinity through Yelp, in desperate need of professional assistance. Brayan from Brother Electric quickly replied within 10 minutes, offering to dispatch an electrician to my residence within the hour. I phoned him to confirm their legitimacy, and to my delight, Carlos arrived at my doorstep five minutes ahead of schedule. Upon inspection, with shoe covers on and excellent communication, Carlos identified the root of the problem: the circuits were overloaded due to simultaneous heater usage, coupled with a misconfigured circuit breaker. Remarkably, in under 30 minutes, Carlos had everything running smoothly again, and I gained valuable insights into my home's electrical setup. Brayan and his team have certainly earned their place as my go-to electricians for future needs.
