Zack & Team showed up and did an absolute amazing job. I wish I took before pics so you can see the big difference. Both trees were over 25-30ft and were overcrowded w/thick branches of leaves. We had to cut/trim them due to the strong winds that come through during fall/winter season. Pricing was also great, another tree cutting company quote was twice as much. We had a 35'+ tree in our backyard that was causing us issues with a retaining wall and was getting to close to the house as well. I saw Stewart's doing a neighbors tree that was similar to ours. I was impressed with the job they did, so had them come out and bid ours. The bid was very competitive and we had them come out a few weeks later. Stewart's Tree Service is very unprofessional and inconsiderate of others. By 8am they had been working at the neighbors house and come banging on the door. I had ignored it for a few minutes until I was worried something could be wrong. I went downstairs and nobody was at the door. I went back upstairs when less than an hour later someone was banging on our door again (I'm serious when I mean they were knocking as hard as they possibly could). I went back downstairs and to the door and nobody was at the door again. I was angry by then and waited downstairs for a few minutes. Nothing more happened so I went back upstairs. My brother was then outside about 20 minutes later bringing in the trash cans and then leaves. I assumed whatever is going on will hopefully get to him. No. 30 minutes later someone is banging on my door and ringing my bell. What?!?!? He was outside only thirty minutes ago why are you banging on my door before 10:00am??? I walked down completely annoyed and there a man is standing on the very edge of my porch not even looking at the door. After I told him I came to the door twice and nobody was there and this is the third time, he knew I was upset and instead of apologizing said, "Oh yeah I thought I heard a door slam. Is that your blue car on the curb?" Rather than apologizing, or speaking to my brother WHO WAS ALREADY OUTSIDE, or simply waiting at the door instead of walking away or waiting at the edge of my porch, you had come to bang on my door AGAIN and then asked me to move a car parked on the curb. How horrible at your job can you be that you can't work around a car? Or what if i wasn't home? What you now can't do the job because you didn't account for cars to be parked in a neighborhood?! How little consideration or intellect do you have to not ask the person who's outside the house or wait at the door a couple minutes. Very angry with this situation. Then after I move the car to my driveway which was now free because my brother had left they block over half of my driveway with their work truck!!!!!No I will never ever use this company! They are rude, inconsiderate, unintelligent, and untalented. If I could give zero stars I would!!!! read more

This review is for their services done on our oak tree and magnolia tree about a year ago. Pros are their prices are competitive, they worked fast, and they were on time. Everyone on the staff was courteous and easy to work with. With that being said, they did not cut back as much as we discussed on either tree. We usually have our oak tree trimmed every 2+ years and we already have to cut it again. We've had multiple certified arborist come out for quotes and tell us it doesn't look like it was balanced properly after the last trim. This is not surprising because after they finished, it didn't look right but they had taken down all their ropes and cleaned up already. I did ask them to trim more of the lower branches which they did. Every other tree trimmers we have dealt with have always asked us to check their work before clean up. I regret not speaking up earlier but didn't have the time. They spent about 20 mins on the magnolia which cost $400 for them to trim. I wanted it trimmed away from my neighbors and my house. Instead of trimming the branches, they just completely chopped off all the lower branches off. When they were done I had to ask them again to trim it in more, and they hacked off more branches. We lost all the branches we use to hang our seasonal decorations and the tree looks horrible even a year later. When I tried to speak to them as they were leaving, they said they had to rush to an emergency--tree had fallen. Half their crew had already left. I thought that explained their rushed work. Then our neighbors had trees serviced from them and had the same experience. One of their trees lost ALL its branches on an entire side. If you do decide to give this company a try, just be sure to watch them and discuss what and how they will be cutting your tree. Out of the 20years of having our tree serviced, this is the only company that has disappointed us. read more

Over the past three years I have used three different tree service companies. Stewart's is by far superior to any of the other companies and I will continue to use them in the future. The crew knows their "stuff", which is comforting when a wrong cut can ruin the look of a tree. The men are cordial, accommodating and so easy to work with. Patrick just stopped by for emergency tree cutting, as one our trees in the front yard was ready to take out the neighbors house. Patrick arrived within 30 minutes of calling and took down the tree in less than one hour. Simply amazing! They're coming back with their tree shredder on Monday to remove all the remnants of the tree. In the meantime, we can breath a sigh of relief with not having a tree cause any damage.
