Jose and his crew are top notch! The recent wind storm split a 75 year old tree in half and was a major safety issue. They came over at the end of their already busy day Monday to get the tree to a safe spot for everyone. Then came back on time as promised 2 days later to do the remainder of the work. I found SSR Tree and trimming services on Yelp and messaged Jose and he replied right away and came later that night for an estimate. He quoted me a price to cut and trim back two trees that were touching my house and just too high for me to do myself. We agreed on a lower and reasonable price and Jose and his 3 man team came to do the job on a day of my choosing. They arrived with a wood chipper and 4 guys total and they finished in about an hour and a half. They cleaned up everything and left my front lawn cleaner than it was before they came. They swept my driveway and used a blower to clean up all the leaves and branches. Jose's team was fast and efficient and I'm glad I won't have to deal with these trees for a couple of years at least. I called SSR to get a quote on having a tree removed. Jose showed up and asked me what quote I had received from other companies and then under cut them by nearly in half. I asked him for a written quote and he told me he would email it to me. I didn't receive it by the following day so I texted him again asking for the written quote to which he said he would get it to me the following day, which seemed weird since it was early in the morning and shouldn't take more than a few minutes to complete. 5 days later I still haven't received the quote. Jose and his crew had come out to grind 6 small stumps for me. Unfortunately the grinder had a minor mechanical issue while working on stump 3 (not their fault, stuff happens).
