Wonderful, professional company! We had 2 beautiful giant birds of paradise plants that were getting so big they were cracking the planter box retaining wall they were in by our pool. Unfortunately they had to go. JC Tree company gave us a quick, in-person estimate and a great quote for these beasts. The 3 guys who came the day of were so polite, professional and clean! I couldn't believe how quickly and efficiently they cut down the massive tree and ground down the root bulb. They were so careful to clean up any mess they made and were mindful of other surrounds plants and drip lines. They also blew off as much debris as they could from our pool cover. I got my cat back! Marcos Ulloa from JC Tree service was on his way to bring my cat who was stuck 40' up a redwood tree in our neighbor's yard, the only rescue willing to commit coming today. Animal control, fire department, police won't touch cats stuck up trees. Anyway, before Marcos arrived, Kabuki started climbing down and 30' up he dropped to the ground and I grabbed him. Marcos and his crew showed up bright and early this morning I took him to my backyard and they went to work right away. They stripped the branches and then climbed 3/4 of the tree and using a chainsaw it was down in 15 minutes, they cleaned up every branch, and then came the stump grinder and in another 10 minutes it was gone too. They cleaned up and put all the blocks back better than before they started. Now you can never tell there was even a tree there. I was very impressed with all 3 of the workers very professional friendly answered all my questions and if I thought of any to give him a call. I couldn't be anymore satisfied with their work, thank you J C Tree service. Gil Britto September first and JC Trees is back out to remove our dangerous cluster of trees. They were here bright and early ready to work. There was three trees that were about 40 foot tall, he climbed up them cutting limbs off all the way and they tied safety lines to each section they removed. From the initial response from co-owner Marcos to the work completed by JC Tree Removal staff, my interactions with this company were all positive. I had a pomelo tree removed from my backyard. In October I sent Marcos a photo and he provided me a quote. I said I wanted the work done in November, and he scheduled me for the 7th. His team showed up right on time, communicated with me about what they'd do, confirming it was what I wanted, and then they got to work (undaunted by the massive thorns on a pomelo tree). This is a longover due review that I'm finally jotting down. JC Tree Service and the brothers Marco and Mauricio were absolutely fantastic!! All the good reviews about them are absolutely true. Everyone always says that large trees can be expensive to have work on, but it is well worth it and their pricing in the estimate was clear-cut for me to understand and how it varied depending on what I wanted done. I didn't even know what kind of tree I had until they came along! Mauricio was very communicative and walked around my front yard with me for my estimate. I received an invoice from him that night detailing everything we went over along with pricing, and I scheduled with him. Day of my appointment--- These guys are fantastic!! Marco introduced himself to me and double-checked with the original invoice to make sure we were all on the same page. For pruning my tree, taking out the hanging dead wood, and trimming back my neighbor's tree that was hanging over my driveway--- I want to say it was barely 2hrs but that feels too long. We have always used JC Tree Service to care for our beloved Japanese Maple. The amount of care that Marcos and his team have always given to our Maple has been stellar! They understand the monetary value that a tree has for a homeowner. When I call Marcos to evaluate our Maple, his recommendation is not always to trim the Maple. He understands that trees do not get manicured in the wild. Sometimes, he does suggest some minor trimming. We hired JC Tree Service for a second time to help us get rid of a lot of tree limbs sitting on the side of our home. The Hawthorne Berry Trees are pretty brutal having thorns 3-4 inches long all over each branch so that in itself is not a pleasant job! This morning they showed up early and they had all the limbs ran through their chipper, raked and used the blower to tidy the areas within 30 minutes! I'm so grateful for them and the work that they do. What took them 30 minutes would have taken us several days to chainsaw everything then load in the green cans. Reached out to several different services for estimates to prune or remove 3 really tall trees easily 50ft+ (2 cottonwoods and 1 eucalyptus). Two of them were very close to the house and had branches constantly banging on our roof on windy/rainy days. Mauricio from JC Tree not only offered the best estimate but was very patient, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. After about two months of coordinating with our neighbors, JC Tree and their partner company P&J Tree came by around 8am and got to work right away. These guys were simply amazing to watch. They worked very quickly but also very safely, carefully, and coordinated, making sure no one got hurt and none of the property got damaged. Mauricio conservatively estimated 2 days, but they ended up finishing in one day including the stump grinding for the cottonwoods before the sun started to set. The timing couldn't have been more perfect because the heavy wind/rain came back a couple days later, no more branches banging on the roof. I had 3 trees that I needed trimmed, 2 of which were very large. One tree actually had a very large limb that broke before they came out to give me the estimate and the debris was still curbside in small chunks. Mauricio came out and and gave me a fair and reasonable quote to trim all 3 trees and take away the debris from the large limb that had broken along with the regular tree trimming debris. I called JC tree ,he came out, we walked around the trees and I thought we had an agreement. At $500. His guys showed and told me they were only to do THREE trees ( these are with one exception small fruit trees) He got on the phone SCREAMING at me how could he make any money, I was trying to cheat him and on and on. He came back out and said he'd do it for $655. NOW.
