Florida Beach Rentals Has exceptional customer service. We rented a unit on Clearwater Beach from Airbnb through Florida Beach Rentals. We were notified two days before our trip that there was a mixup with Airbnb and our unit was double booked. We reached out to Taylor from Florida Beach Rentals who within 10 minutes was able to get us an absolutely stunning Condo for the same price. From housekeeping to the repair department this is a top-notch company ! We will book directly with Florida Beach Rentals the next time we are in Clearwater. read more

I had booked my trip to stay in Clearwater Beach about a month prior to my check in. Upon realizing that Hurricane Ian was set on the Clearwater/Tampa area, I obviously requested a cancellation. Florida Beach Rental's response to me was "we only allow refunds on dates that have mandatory evacuations in place". When I responded saying it is inevitable, they ignored me. When I asked if they provide shelter for my family and I during this certain evacuation, they sent me a link to public shelters. Apparently they were insisting that I fly into Tampa, Uber to Clearwater, then be evacuated for them to refund my stay (which still has not been refunded yet despite my numerous requests). I also am a property manager for short term rentals so I'm a little disgusted and shocked at the lack of communication and dismissive nature of them. I will make a point of avoiding their properties from now on. read more

This is a shady place to find a nice beach rental. After I sent a bunch of requests for a condo/house on the beach for Christmas with my family on vrbo.com, someone emailed me back from here saying the one I asked about was not available but there was another one that was available for the dates I needed. I asked a few questions and they answered them, so I booked the place (on their site) for a week with my wife and inlaws, then for a 2nd week for my wife and I. Then the whole day went by and Jackie called me to clarify. When I called back she started to confirm the vacation, but then said, "this unit may not be available" and had to call me back. When she called me back, she said it wasn't available, and nothing was left. UNBELIEVABLE! I wasted a week and was left with nothing and no help. This is why AirBnB is so popular. They have accurate availability on their site, and no 3rd, 4th, and 5th parties are involved. What a disgrace to not have accurate information and waste people's time. I asked for the owner to call me and if they don't I might have to tell the BBB. read more

This team of pros were so easy to work with. Even upon our arrival, they got us in and out quickly and we were underway! If you've never been to the area, these folks' brains are jam-packed with useful info, and will have maps, lists and suggestions waiting for you. Their office is pretty nice too, complete with their own office dog to greet you! read more

We actually booked through air bnb and will likely post a review on there. We stayed in Palm Place # 1. Steps from the beach. We loved it. The place was clean and perfect for our stay. It was an easy check in process, easy check out, good price, and the employees were quick to reply to any questions we had. Will likely always stay with this company when we return. read more

During the holidays, My family (of 5) and I spent 10 days at a 3 story townhome, before that the condo we checked in at was not going to work...As everyone knows, Issues will occur and in my humble opinion, the true measure of quality customer service is how a company will respond to the issue(s). Well, I am VERY pleased to say that my family and I are very grateful that Florida Beach Rentals did am OUTSTANDING job handling the issue(s) we experienced during check in (not ay of their doing). Now a days most companies do not handle issues well at all, so it was a pleasant surprise to see how EXTREMELY well this was handled, totally beyond our expectations, TOP CLASS company....well done and thanks again FBR! read more

Very good and inexpensive. The units are clean and well maintained. They are in a convienant location. A few hundred steps to the beach and Frenchys Rockaway Grill. Highly suggest this location for a reasonably priced week stay at Clearwater Beach. read more

I called to book this listing this morning. The customer service rep first argued with me about whether there would be a background search ($138 extra) the website clearly said it was for "international visitors". She said "no it's for everyone." I suggested that she should change the wording on the site. She then read it to me verbatim. And said "See".I had to explain to her that I was coming from Georgia (the state) and that I was not an international visitor. She finally understood. Then, when I was asking what they needed down to hold the reservation, she said this was the last unit in that building, and it would require two $68 application fees. No problem. Then a deposit of 25%. Again no problem. Then she said "Hold on", put me on hold and came back a few minutes later saying the price on the listing was incorrect, "but I fixed it". The price went from $1239 to $1827. I laughed and said "never mind. I am sure it is not a coincidence that it changed because it was the last one available for the dates I chose. They should be ashamed. read more

We booked a condo through these guys. The condo was clean and nice, what we expected. However, before we booked in the amenities it listed an available boat slip for the condo. Upon arrival (after 9 hours of travel) we were told that was not one of the amenities. They even went as far as to dispute the email correspondence that was shown to them prior to booking. We in turn were offered no compensation for the neglect on their part, in addition we had to rent a spot at a boat yard to store the boat trailor as well as a boat slip at the marina across town. With that being said there was only 30 min metered parking in the marina lot from 6 am to 6 pm . So there was tremendous inconvenience just to take the boat out. I would most definatly NOT recommend this agency to ANYONE! read more

Top notch service! I rented a condo for the month of December in the Aqualea building at 301 Gulfview. The unit was beautiful and located in the perfect area. Florida Beach Rentals made the whole process smooth and simple. They were always available to answer any questions and concerns that I had. We checked into our unit after picking up the package from their office. it had directions to the unit, key codes to enter the unit and discount coupons to local attractions and restaurants. everyone was friendly, and we were out the door in 5 minutes!. once we got to the unit it was wonderful. The even gave us a bottle of complimentary wine inside the unit as a gift. WOW........ read more

Only had one experience with this rental service and it was very positive. We got a great deal on a three bedroom condo. Condo was very clean, secure and well furnished. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Our flight was late and Florida Beach Rentals left our keys and info packet in a secure place so we could pick up after business hours and come in the next morning with remaining deposit, etc... Friendly well informed staff. Recommended. read more

After taking lots of vacations with different services from all inclusive to condo rentals, we found this one was one of the best! From the booking our condo with Florida Beach Rentals to check-in and picking up the keys, the service was courteous, simple and quick. The staff we dealt with we're top-notch. When we saw the actual property and were blown away! It was spacious, clean, comfortable and bright. It had all the amenities of home, plus a beautiful view of the beach and Gulf. We loved it so much, we have already booked this unit for next year!! read more

First of all, I originally booked a property on 2/11/16 that i found on the Homeaway website. Payment for the rental was made directly through the management company, Florida Beach rentals. The listing # on Homeaway is 4137892, which shows a beautiful room with a waterfront view, 2 balconies in the bedroom overlooking the water. I arrived on 10/7, only to be put in a room on the second floor The room had no view from the bedroom as pictured in the photo. The room I got had a balcony in the living room which overlooked a parking lot, not, the ocean. The bed was a FULL sized bed, (not a queen as listed) very small and uncomfortable. After I had told the front desk that this was not the room I rented, the hotel (not the rental company) offered to put me in a different room. The next room was on the 5th floor, it did have a queen bed, no balcony or view from the bedroom (as pictured in the listing) the balcony in the living room overlooked the parking garage which was extremely noisy all night long. When I booked this place in February, the listing did not have any disclaimers (as they conveniently JUST put in the description this past week after my complaints to Florida Beach Rental). The listing NOW states that you may or may not get a room with a view. The previous listing also did not have the prices for internet or daily parking rates either. I was informed by Homeaway, that you should always pay through Homeaway, and not to the management company on the listing, in this case, Florida Beach Rentals. They refused to compensate me in any way for not giving me the room as pictured in the photos on the listing. They changed the wording and description on the listing AFTER I COMPLAINED! I had pointed out that there was nothing in writing or on my receipt with these disclaimers at the time I booked in February...8 months ago! I have rented many Homeaway properites, and several in this Mutiny Hotel. I would have never chose to rent a room, knowing in advance that I could get a different room from what was pictured. Completely deceiving! You will never get this room that is shown ( according to the hotel staff). The room pictured is a front, corner unit facing the bay. I wish I could post the photos of the room I got. Completely unacceptable. The hotel staff was very nice and tried their best to accomodate me. In the future, I will book directly though the Mutiny Hotel. Do not trust this listing or Florida Beach Rentals (the property management company for this listing). read more

FBR has every budget in mind. We have rented from them for 11 years now. Note high season and holidays book a year ahead so plan early for the best selections. The staff is young and can suggest many fun activities. The last minute deals can be half off. The condos are so much less expensive than hotels and 2 families can share easily. They have thousands of properties and a large staff. read more

We stayed at 18 Cambria just down the street from the rental office. We stayed over the holidays for nearly 2 weeks and we were given a rental that had a host of issues and when we brought the issues to the attention of the management they were unresponsive and failed to resolve it. They don't do walk through's to ensure the units are ready and they deliver units that are filthy and not ready for occupants. When we arrived the several breakers in the electric panel were off. Including the refrigerators. The groceries that we had including food and milk for our toddler had no place to be stored so we had to go and buy a chest and ice until the refrigerators were cold enough...not until the following morning. The floors made our socks and feet black they were so dirty. Not just of grime but complete with toe/finger nail clippings from the previous occupants. (will return to update this post with a hyperlink of pictures) The first morning we went to make coffee and the coffee makers had grinds still inside of it that were so moldy and rank we put the coffee maker outside for the rest of our stay (pictures) Sheets in my niece's room were soiled and stained and were unwashed (pictures) The hotwater when used in the rear unit bathroom made the pipes bang and rattler and after that brown and rusty water would come out. Making using that bathroom after people started going to be impossible. (video don't know if we will be able to post it) In the front unit the toilet in the second bathroom was not even bolted to the floor. The only thing holding it in place was the water line. When my senior mother tried to reach for toilet paper the toilet came completely loose. We had to turn it off as it ran continuously. Now we had one bathroom where you couldn't use hot water after people went to bed and another bathroom whose toilet was unsafe to use. The garbage cans were completely full for the rental to the point where we could barely move them but they required us to take them to the curb for our stay. They sofa beds that we needed to use were completely filthy and disgusting when we unfolded them (pictures) Comforters had fresh coffee or wine or blood stains on them and were unusable in the rear unit (pictures) We had a major cleaning party the second day and had to buy our own supplies. The 2 packs of swifters we bought got so dirty to use for more then one or two passes, we ended up having to go buy a mop and bucket because of the amount of dirt. Joan, who was the person in the management office whom we brought the issues to (once the second day of occupancy and another the second week of occupancy) was completely inept. She did nothing to try and resolve the situation other then to offer to bring us a set of clean sheets. After she investigated some of our issues she learned that there was an occupant staying in the rental prior to our occupancy that she claims had the owners permission but the management office was unaware of and blamed these issues on them. She didn't even offer to reimburse us for our cleaning supplies we had to buy. I showed her all the pictures including of the finger/toe nail clippings, the moldy coffee machine, the stained sheets and comforter, a video showing the brown water coming out of the spigot because of banging pipes, etc, etc, she just looked like and claimed that no one ever brought these issues to their/her attention. She also claimed that she did a walk though before our occupancy to which I replied. How is that possible when more then half the breakers in both units were tripped affecting everything from refrigerators to lights to smoke alarms. She had no reply. Every single smoke alarm was beeping because the breakers had been flipped for so long the batteries began to fail and all the ice in the ice makers was melted and water was in both freezers. Finally and the most telling of the responsiveness of this management office is that when were returned the keys we turned in a two page comment card similar to this review which was reviewed by the individual collecting the keys. You know what she did. Nothing. Don't rent any units through this agency. There is plenty of game in town, not saying you will have better luck with them but there is a reason all the recent reviews of this place is 1 star. Again, don't rent from Florida Beach Rentals or stay at the 18 Cambria House that has the front and rear unit. Unless of course you like your toddler to put other peoples finger nail clippings in their mouth or you like the moldy aroma blend of coffee or enjoy sleeping in the filth of people you don't know or enjoy using a bathroom that has brown water coming out...... read more

I would give it 0 stars if I could. I have rented my condo out through this company. Each time I was charge for items that they "had to buy" rather than checking the house for them. Last time they were going to charge me for an iron and ironing board although both were in the closet. I happened to run into someone taking these items in to the unit and I said they are right in the closet. But the worst was to come. Apparently the garbage disposal was leaking. I was asked if they could install a garbage disposal. I said yes since I was out of the country at the time. When I returned, I found they had not only changed the disposal but also the faucet. And I received a bill for $547.95 for the cost of the service. The retail price of the faucet and disposal was together only $119, and believe me, McGill Plumbing Company does not but retail. It took from March till June to get an invoice for my accountant. They had wanted me to pay the $547 from an email. I am not the only homeowner that has rented through them that this has happened to. Another owner was charged $2000 for a water heater. Another was being overcharged for a disposal, but they were able to get someone else to install for a quarter of the price. I will not allow my unit to be rented through this company again. Try Bob Pulaski. read more

i stayed in dockside condo 304 - the pictures are a lot better than the condo - pictures are misleading - no master bath for master bathroom - it is a shared bathroom with another bedroom. On arrival we had a smell of sewage - which did go away after a day or two - but it came back later in the week. We had a night where power went out in one of the bedrooms and the ac went down - I called after hours emergency line and have yet to hear back from them - I guess the unit had frozen up and when we cut off - couple of hours later the power and unit came back on. No call from florida beach rentals to check on problem though - I recalled emergency line later to hear if they don't call back then call them back - what good for emergency line 24 hours later. I did get a call a day later to say if we were leaving early they were really booked up the next week and would love to clean our place earlier - good luck on that one - I would not recommend this group to any one else. read more
