GO ELSEWHERE. This was our second year staying here at this…read more"condo". First of all, there is new management and it has went drastically downhill from our stay last year. There is no office access. We saw multiple people trying to access the office, obviously it was not communicated to them that this is now a "no contact" facility. 2nd complaint- there were SEVERAL huge bags of laundry sitting outside on the patio of said "office" for days. 3rd complaint- the 4 people "on staff" who were of which no identification that they were employees until we saw them with brooms, mops, etc. They were extremely RUDE. In example, a larger heavy set man was there and we asked him to unlock the laundry room so we could do our laundry. He was very rude in his response and asked what we needed and if it was personal items or needing towels, we said personal items and he laughed and said "ok, well it should be open", not offering to open the doors for us after we just told him it was locked. So, we found the second employee on staff who was identified with a "maintenance" name tag, and asked him if he would open the laundry room for us, he kindly opened them for us. 4th complaint- there was another said employee that was not uniformed violently pushing the chairs in the patio and taking guests personal towels that were laid out on chairs to their laundry basket. He was also going up to guests who were eating and asking them if they were finished with their food. He was very rude to interact with and he was not professional in any manner, just as the heavy set gentleman. 5th complaint- MOLD. There was mold all on the inside of our shower and growing on the shower curtain (see photos). 6th complaint- This is the icing on top of the cake- our flight was scheduled to leave very early, so we had to get up and going around 3 am. Waking up and walking into the kitchen, there were not one, but TWO COCKROACHES crawling on the floor!!!! My phone was not with me and as soon as I moved to go grab my phone, they ran straight under the refrigerator. As if the complaints above weren't enough for us to ever return, the last complaint was. This establishment used to be so well ran and high class. All I can say is wow, we will never return to Belleair Beach Club. It was also communicated amongst other guests we had met there that they have been staying there for years and were also very disappointed in the way this establishment has went downhill very quickly.

Beachfront location and most rooms have a private balcony for your viewing pleasure. We've enjoyed our stays here, twice now. Several of the units are privately owned, either way, such a nice place to stay and relax. Location is key in choosing a vacation rental. At Belleair Beach Club, you're literally minutes from Clearwater, Indian Rocks Beach, St. Pete and Tampa. Just about anything you want to do is a short drive. Plenty of good eats in the area as well as nightlife activities. Only negative I have for this years trip is the slight eyesore of the massive pipeline spanning the beach with the ship sitting about a half mile offshore - but not to worry, they're just dredging to increase the size of the beach so it will be even bigger when we return!!

The condo was beautiful and had a breath taking view of the beach from the balcony. It was spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The property was quiet and guests and residents were pleasant. The owners resided out of town and rented it out via online. There are designated parking spots with one spot per condo, otherwise you have to retrieve a parking pass from the office for an additional vehicle to park on the premises. The elevators and pool gate are operated by entering a code number. Unfortunately, the last day became a nightmare. Check out time was at 11am and we were running a little behind in leaving. From my past experience, most rental facilities will cut you a little slack on the check out time. It was about 11:45am and I had about 2 more trips of packing up the car before we left. As I was putting things in the car, a couple drove past slowly and rolled down the window and said check out time was 11am. I apologized and explained that we were running a bit behind in checking out and that I only had a couple of more things to pack up. The woman got out of the car and kept harassing me about check out time being at 11am and just kept antagonizing me. I continued to profusely apologize and I told her there was nothing else I could do. I was going as fast as I could. She then went upstairs and barged in on my poor mom who had no idea what was going on while the man parked their car in another spot. I happened to get on the elevator at the same time with him and he continued to harass me on the elevator and said "what part of 11am check out time do you not understand" and he said "they have a "blacklist" for people like us." Apparently, this couple lived locally and worked as housekeepers for the owners. He said the owners had a death in the family and were on their way to the condo and they needed to get it ready before they arrived. I told him I was very sorry for their loss and at that point, I was so upset I started crying and I could tell he then felt bad. My mom and I gathered the remainder of our belongings and as we were leaving the woman said she was sorry for her husband making me cry. I told them I was sorry for their loss and for the inconvenience we caused, but we would not be back. Those owners lost our business thanks to their rude and completely unprofessional housekeepers.

The pool bar has great drink selection and good small menu of pizza pretzels chicken fingers tots. The pool is warmed 82 degrees even in mid November the chairs and umbrella free the rooms have washers and dryers full kitchens decks etc wow the food options within walking distance are wonderful with live music. Playground across street and an aquarium a few miles away. Perfect winter getaway! Thanks

You have to walk across a public parking lot to actually be on the beach. There is a parking garage for guests to park in. Check in process was easy. The condo was very clean. Towels are provided. There is a small pool located up on the deck. Beach chairs, floats and umbrellas are provided in the parking garage. You must sign them out at the desk and sign them back in afterwards. Overall no complaints on our stay. You can walk to a couple of restaurants that makes it nice or you can just DoorDash some food!

Obviously for paying the lowest possible price for accommodation you can't expect luxury, but it is a good area, clean sheets and pretty gardens. Free use of bikes and only a 40 minute cycle to Clearwater beach and 15 minutes up to Dunedin which is a cool spot. Next to Pinellas bike trail. It is privately run so there's not always someone in the office like at a typical backpackers hostel so it can be hard to find someone if you need something. But definitely good value accommodation with good people.

The room was 160 plus tax a night and we would definitely use them again if we're back in this area. Short distance to Clearwater and south to John's pass. We even took the 50 minute trip into Tampa twice! Had a small kitchenette which was nice for the apartment size fridge and coffee maker but never used the cooking part ( too many great eating places to try).

There is no direct access from the beach to a hotel but its a short walk away. I enjoyed the view from the pool and the delicious lunch what was derived from the restaurant on their top floor (Jimmy's on the Edge). The rate was bit high for a mid week stay, but perhaps its just a high season in August.
