Colleen ..

Looking for a diner while traveling found Flo's ..Service was great . Food was decent .. prices okay

Dinning room

Like eating at grandmas house. This place is not fancy at all, so if you are looking for polished stainless steel and HGTV subway tiles keep driving. This is your old country grandmas place complete with rooster knick knacks and unchanged decor for 20 yrs. ,but clean and familiar. My breakfast was perfect! Eggs, bacon , home fries, rye toast and pancakes . Taste like grandma is in the back cooking everything in an old cast iron skillet this was just what I was looking for. Service was fast and friendly.

A little gem I almost passed. Glad I stopped. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Diner food competently done. Reasonably priced. Small dining area. Booths, Tables and counter seating. Clean restroom.

Flo's definitely has a local feel and is busy on Sunday morning. The food is great and there's a good selection, including vegetarian options. It seems a little pricey for what it is, but if you're looking for a solid diner experience, put Flo's on your list.

Waited 40 mins for a microwaved frozen hamburger topped with a hunk of blue cheese. How do places like Flos stay in business? Yuck.

My husband and I consider ourselves regulars at Otto's. We eat here frequently with our friends. We…read morehave a running joke.... All roads lead back to Otto's. I/we have never experienced poor quality food or service. The staff is always welcoming and the food never disappoints. Lindsay and Luke and the staff are very community oriented and host many community meal events with "a pay what you can" attitude. Otto's is truly an asset in the heart of the Berkshires.

And no, I did not "tell them how to run their restaurant" as the petulant owner says below. To be helpful, since I was solo, I asked for a counter seat not a table though there were a bunch empty. The attitudinal counter person snapped "there's a waiting list." When I asked how long, she made a face and said "maybe 15 minutes." Seeing that there were at least four empty tables (and no visible line), and not really wanting to wait 15 minutes for a counter seat, I asked if a two-top were possible. Now she flips out and yells "I said 15 minutes, what do you want a job telling me how to run this place?" I've worked pretty much every restaurant job in my youth from busboy to dishwasher to waiter to kitchen prep -- including in the Berkshires -- and would have been immediately fired if I ever went nuclear on a customer over a harmless question. Instead I got breakfast at another -- friendly, family-owned -- Pittsfield diner, had a great quick meal and tipped 30%. Some people get so full of themselves and their drama. You're serving eggs to your neighbors, not working the velvet rope at an exclusive club.
