This large coconut matcha with oat milk was fully $9. It's very tasty though. Very cool temps inside, several outlets for laptops

The cutest coffee shop! Pretty busy when I walked in. Only one person behind the counter. Unsure if this is a new business. I truly enjoyed the minimalist look and feel.

My favorite matcha in the whole city!!! This cute cafe is downtown New Orleans and is simple but adorable. The baristas always help me decide what to get since I am so indecisive and they have never steered me wrong. The speciality matchas are my favorite. They can take all of my money.

During my visit to New Orleans, I was craving a good matcha latte. After finding this spot with great reviews, I decided to give it a try. Knowing that matcha lattes aren't as popular in NOLA as they are in places like LA, I was curious to see what I could find. The cafe was easy to locate, with a clear sign outside, and the interior had a cute, cozy vibe. The staff was friendly, and despite being the sole barista at the time, the drinks were made quickly--there was no line when I arrived. I opted for an Iced Matcha Latte with dairy-free milk. It was pretty good--on the sweeter side, but not too watery or overly earthy. You could still taste the matcha, but it wasn't as bold as I would've liked. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10. My sister ordered the hot chocolate, but unfortunately, she didn't enjoy it. It smelled richer than it actually tasted, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, this cafe is adorable, and the matcha lattes are definitely worth trying if you're in the area!

Hot Mocha looks delicious, oh wait, it's not in a Mug with a pretty foam design...

This place had good coffee and I really enjoyed my hot mocha. I went because i wanted to sit and enjoy my coffee for a bit, but there weren't but of tables (Maybe 3-4 which were all taken). There was a counter with 4-5 stools and another counter looking out the window. Also, there was no ceramic mug like the owner's pics, so I just enjoyed out of a paper cup like everywhere else. What do you have to do to get coffee in an actual mug these days? It was good though, even if it was in paper like everywhere else.

This coffee shop is a gem and has become a go-to morning stop for my trip. The coffee here is the best I've tried in New Orleans, and the space inside the cafe is open and inviting. The staff have also been very welcoming, willing and able to answer questions about drinks and make modifications as necessary. I've tried several coffee drinks and enjoyed them all (americano, cortado, flat white, iced banana bread latte...). Seriously, best coffee I've had here. Their protein bars are also delicious, and the wi-fi is a bonus.

cute little spot! i came here because i heard it was a good spot for remote work, and i don't know that i would agree with that necessarily, but the food and drink was absolutely delicious! i got an iced coconut matcha latte and a bowl of granola for my breakfast, and both items were really, really good. after a few hours, i ordered a chai and that was also really nice. all the food and drinks also came out super fast, and the baristas were really sweet as well. the reason i say it's maybe not the most conducive for sustained remote work is because there's not a lot of seating, and if it was a busier day i definitely would feel bad taking up a table for a long time. there's also only really high tables and bar stool type chairs, which aren't too comfortable. i managed to snag a seat in the "nook" for a while, which is comfortable but kind of dark. it's quiet and the wifi is good, but probably a better spot just to grab a coffee with a friend! i didn't have any of the normal espresso drinks or pastries but i bet everything is awesome.

Bon Ami has become my favorite spot for coffee in New Orleans. and that's an accomplishment considering how many cafes there are! I love that all the syrups are homemade, all the baristas are friendly and how chill the space is. It's so warm + inviting!

Beautiful, quiet coffee shop with impeccable attention to detail! Wish I could've stayed for longer, but I just passed by briefly for a much needed dose of caffeine. The owner was friendly, laidback, and easily accommodated my request for less milk in my drink. Cute display of yogurt parfaits and pastries.

Dropped in quickly close to closing. Barista was friendly. Tons of seating and outlets here. Would like to come back to study. Syrup was tasty, homemade. I got the Americano

Super cute cafe with yummy seasonal drinks! I came in a few times this week during a work trip and it was awesome. I love that they open real EARLY. 7am - which isn't the case for a lot of other shops in the area. I highly recommend. They have a really cute space inside as well.

What kind of oatmilk do they use?

    Oatly

I am looking for somewhere that makes a really good chai tea latte, not the overly sweet premixed in a box that Starbucks now sells, is this the place or is there somewhere else near the French Quarter to get one?

Hi Jessica, not sure. You may give a call to Cafe Bon Ami. We went to NOLA from NYC for the weekend and came across this coffee place. Had hot herbal tea and regular iced latte- delish!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe.
