She was very kind and graceful as I navigated the app and many schedules of the household over the phone. She thoroughly explained the current promo they have going on right now and ultimately got us all signed up for what we needed. We had our free trial class with Chris last week and I was so pleased with how friendly, soft-spoken, and patient he was with my son. My son didn't even want to go into the water for the first 10 min of the 30 min class, and Chris just continued to ask if he was ready, all the while still holding lesson and staying attentive to the other child who was in the same class. Eventually, my kiddo felt confident enough to join in and by the end of the session he was having an absolute blast. We are looking forward to continuing our swim journey here with this crew!

The instructors are great but the techniques and length of swim time aren't very helpful. I called to cancel my lesson on September 2nd because I didn't feel I was learning anything but they said I was supposed to call by the 25th of August to cancel. Although apparently it's in the policy I am miffed that they won't refund me the money because I was a couple days late even though hadn't used their time yet. Long story short not a good place for adults to learn how to swim and their policies are outdated IMO. @Jen B Six classes and I still don't know how to swim a credit to a place where I haven't learned much seems useless. A suggestion for you to help everyone is to send a reminder email letting the customer know that renewal is coming so they can reply letting you know they won't be renewing. Thank you

Everyone is kind, caring, and you can tell they love what they do. The facility is extremely clean, and the viewing area is the best I've seen. The huge glass window makes you feel like you're right there with your child. What means the most to me is how they work with my son, who is level 3 autistic and loves the water. Their lead instructor, Norma, is incredible. She specializes in working with kids on the spectrum and handles my son with so much patience, calmness, and positivity, even when his behavior can be challenging. It gives me real peace of mind. She is a 10 out of 10. At the same time, my other 4 year old has moved up four levels in just six months and is now swim safe. Big thank you to the managers, Shaan and Raj, who are always accommodating and easy to communicate with. If you are looking for a swim school that truly understands and supports children on the autism spectrum, I highly recommend Goldfish.

Every time I call, text, or speak to someone in person, they are kind, friendly, positive, upbeat, and understanding. My son loves the pool and seeing Bubbles the Goldfish everywhere (and the turtle). The whole facility is very cute and clean. They have plenty of dressing rooms and bathroom stalls, a vanity with hairdryers, cotton swabs, and hair ties, showers on the pool deck with body wash, a fish tank, and a kids table with magnatiles, crayons, and blocks. The class sizes are small (6 students in Mini classes) and well-paced. The water is very warm and the instructors are encouraging and understanding. My son mostly just wants to play with the balls and barbell floatie so we like that toys are incorporated. They have a lot of membership options (month to month, seasonal packages, etc) and were very easy to reschedule with when needed. Parking can be limited in the evenings because of the surrounding businesses so plan accordingly. Happy swimming!

While I appreciate the outreach, it came after more than five weeks of repeated requests made both in person and by phone. During that time, we were consistently told that someone would contact us, yet no one ever did. Unfortunately, by the time management reached out, we had already made the decision to cancel our membership and move on. We have since found a private certified swim instructor who is able to provide one-on-one instruction at half the cost of what we were planning on paying with Big Blue . More importantly, the communication was immediate, straightforward, and responsive. This review was never about whether private lessons were available. It was about customer service, follow-through, and communication. Had someone simply returned one of our many requests with an honest update, we likely would have remained customers. I genuinely appreciate the instructors who worked with our son over the past two+ years and wish them the best. However, the lack of responsiveness from management ultimately led us to take our business elsewhere.

As long as your child can swim independently and are familiar with a few different swim strokes, they are allowed to join. I have found these classes to be a great way to strengthen their swimming skills and getting them used to drills in the water. Beginner classes are 1 hour long on T/Th from 5-6pm and your kid will get a great workout! They also learn how to move their legs to swim in place, how to swim holding the ball, pass the ball, score and block. When they have enough skill they can move on to the next level, which is M/T/Th from 5-6:30pm. My son has loved this year-round team; even in the winter he is excited to show up. From my observations, these swim sports help children develop some serious grit; rain or shine, they go in the water ready to practice. The coaches have been great too (shout out to coach Jake! And the others too, I just haven't learned their names). They RARELY cancel practice, unless there are thunderstorms. And the absolute best part of this club: canceling/starting a subscription is SUPER easy. As long as you give them notice in a timely manner, they just pause/restart your subscription without penalties or tricks like a lot of other places do. I highly recommend!

I was a paying member up until today, and unfortunately, I have decided saving a couple extra dollars on pf is not worth the disrespect at this location. The manager, Marco, micromanages and is extremely condescending and rude. He lectured my friend and I about resting. No one was waiting for the preacher curl machine, and my friend was resting on his phone between sets. Marco came over and told us we weren't allowed to be on our phones between sets. I asked him what we should be looking like when resting, and instead of giving a real response, he told me I should already know the policy. He also said we weren't allowed to rest and had to be working all the time. The policy is a long list of rules, and according to him, Im not allowed to be on my phone. I had no way to check the policy online. So I am confused as to why he wouldn't tell me the policy when he yelled at me for being on my phone. He automatically assumed we were high schoolers and threatened to kick us out. I am a paying member, and the automatic assumption I do not pay to be here because I am young is incredibly rude. I am upset he couldn't answer our questions; you are the manager here, the least you could do is clearly explain what is expected of us. Offhand, Marco is a bad driver. He were pulling out of the parking lot on another day and he almost hit us. So if you needed another reason to not come besides Marco having bad customer service, he's a bad driver. There's also this old cleaning lady who's super mean. Im not sure if she's here anymore, but I was biking and she came over and hit me with a dirty wet rag. I was shocked. I took my AirPods out and she asked me if the bottle on the ground was mine. It wasn't-- but slapping me with a dirty rag was rude. All in all, this planet fitness has a thing for hiring workers with poor customer service. You pay hard earned money to be here. You deserve to get a good workout without being micromanaged like a kid. Please heed my advice and stop taking the disrespect. Workout elsewhere. The extra money will buy you peace of mind.
