I thought I would try a new florist in town to send my very pregnant daughter flowers for her birthday. I placed an order online after seeing a beautiful bright and stunning arrangement. I then immediately called to ask if the could add more flowers for an additional cost to make my daughters arrangement extra special. Again I said please something bright and cheery for her birthday. Four days later I see the saddest looking arrangement and was horrified to see what I had sent. In fairness to them, I sent an email letting the owner know what happened. Someone did reach out to me to try and make it right but by that time my daughter had her baby and I was afraid to use them again. Flower Casita did a fabulous job with garden style whimsical sunset color pallet flowers. They brought so much color and joy to the day and in the photos. Flower Casita was recommended to me by multiple other vendors/wedding planners in the know. They had better value than several other vendors who were quoting me minimums double that of what wedding wire said their typical cost was (10k minimum for a company who's average service was listed at 5k ). Flower Casita was very transparent and provided an easy to understand breakdown of floral options with prices so you can build a bundle that works for you and is all about working with you instead of about trapping you in a commitment for minimal output like some of the competition. Flower Casita also does flowers for some of the museums of San Francisco. They are a legit artistic floral company with plenty of creative energy and ingenuity and running a respectable business in general--not just there to prices gauge by the thousands on weddings like some of the competition. And their work is stunning! Flower Casita also made a bouquet for my bridal portraits. While I was getting my hair and makeup done I saw someone running with flowers to the arch area during setup. They offered an option (which we chose) where the vases used we could take home, so our guests got to take home beautiful table centerpieces from the wedding and were overjoyed. I loved my bouquet. Flower Casita is the most incredible florist I have ever worked with. They came HIGHLY recommended by my wedding planner and they brought my vision to life with more beauty and creative finesse than I could have ever imagined. I created an inspiration deck with Google Slides for my wedding and shared it with them, and they in turn created an inspiration board that blew me away. I immediately knew that they understood my style (glamorous, garden chic), and would bring it to the next level. Every aspect of the florals on our wedding day were magical, from the ceremony arrangements to the reception tent, which was decorated with greenery at the entrance as well as on the ceilings for a Taylor Swift-esque botanical wonderland effect. The photos speak for themselves. Many of the guests said that the florals were the most stunning they have ever seen. The crown jewel was the cake, which they decorated with dried flowers and greenery, and assembled a bouquet in an acrylic cake stand (an idea I found on Pinterest). Flower Casita is truly special (and the team is so sweet and dedicated) and I can't wait to use them again for an event. I found this gem of a shop and knew it was the perfect match. My dad had died mountain biking in Mt Tam and their modern, green designs called on the spirit of Mt Tam in the way I was looking for, for his celebration of life. Staff were wonderfully helpful in figuring out what would work for our budget and utilized the inspiration pics I shared to perfection. This main arrangement was exactly what I'd hoped for. However, we went in on Friday to pick up some greenery they'd ordered us for table arrangements (also perfect), and they shared that since they were really busy with other orders on Saturday, they'd made our main arrangement on Friday. We saw it at that time and it was lovely, tho I was confused why it was made a day in advance since my dads memorial was Sunday. We picked it up Saturday and it still looked very good tho not as fresh, and now, Sunday, the day of the event it has several pieces wilting. My family is disappointed and quite honestly, hearing that they pushed the order up a day because they were so busy the following day feels like we are not as important as other clients. This shop is exquisite and the flowers and designs are unique and wonderful but I'm just disappointed and saddened. Had this arrangement been made yesterday instead of the day prior, it would look much better for today's memorial. I wish they had anticipated and shared their level of busyness, and if they had shared with us that it would have to be made on Friday rather than Saturday due to existing orders, we could've chosen to go elsewhere. read more

Another pro of having this meeting is you get all your questions answered so that you won't be worried: Is this flower available in this season? Does that flower last long enough and won't die too soon under sun because it's an outdoor wedding? My husband and I came in to place a last minute order for a few center pieces and a small bouquet for our wedding which was the next day. I forgot the name of the woman who help us but she was so friendly and kind. Even though our wedding was the next day she was able to get out request in and ready for us with no problem. She was very helpful when it came to assisting with the flowers selection and style of the arrangements and even suggested we get a boutonnière for my husband which matched perfectly with my bouquet. The price was a reasonable, the service was above and beyond, and I was a very happy bride. I noticed the shop had other things to purchase which caught my eye. Wish I could give them 6 stars. I called the same day I wanted my arrangement and the younger gal who helped me (from 1st phone call up until pickup) was so accommodating & kind. I needed the arrangement for my (pretty much) mother-in-law as her mother passed earlier that day (December 30, 2017). I had seen arrangements online that were very sort of... dated. She's a young at heart so I didn't want the older looking arrangements. When I called, I told the girl that ultimately I wanted only pink, for a sympathy gift and not a lot of greenery. More flowers then filler. She asked me what my budget was and I told her I didn't want to have to refinance my car, but I also chose not to go to Safeway and support a local business. :) So we settled on $65-$70. When I came in, she was soooo sweet, knew I was the one coming in for the pickup and told me she'd wrap them and I'd be on my way. My god, the flowers were impeccable. So gorgeous!! I WISH I took a photo, but I almost wanted to keep them for myself. Teehee.. They were just, so pink, so soft spoken, almost like they were saying, "I'm sorry for your loss, let me brighten your day without being too loud." Absolute perfection. The wrap job was in brown paper with a straw to tie it together and a single rose in the middle like a wax stamp. I handed them off to my boyfriend to take to his Mom since I couldn't and winked at him as to tell him, these are the flowers I want from now on.. Lol! Tali at Second Street Flowers did the flowers for our October 2017 wedding and they were absolutely beautiful. We chose her originally because we were having the wedding up in Geyserville. Leading up to the ceremony, we met with her at the shop in Petaluma to discuss all the details about what we wanted and didn't want from our florals, and then closer to the date had a walk-through at the wedding site. She was very helpful with all the questions we had and knew exactly what sort of feel we wanted. Four days before the wedding, we had to switch venues at the last minute and move down to San Francisco because of the North Bay fires. Tali completely updated the flower color scheme etc. at the last minute so they worked with the new venue, and they couldn't have looked more wonderful. The bouquets she put together for me and the bridesmaids were the perfect size and were stunning. The groomsmen's and groom's boutonnieres were also great.
