My brother wanted to get flowers for our mother, he called ahead to this florist and said I would be coming by to pick up the flowers. She was really great, she had his message written down and was completely ok with getting payment from my brother over the phone (which most places will raise an eyebrow at). She gave us an ENORMOUS bouquet for a very reasonable price. Our mother was floored and very happy. I highly recommend this place. My one and only heads-up though is that the owner has a very thick accent, so over-the-phone orders can be confusing. Really love this shop. I'm in town for a few weeks and wanted to order some cut flowers. I talked to Sharzad, and she recommended I get a potted plant so the flowers would last for the entire visit. She told me about her various orchid plants, and the one she sent me is sooo beautiful, loaded with blooms. She even made a follow-up call after they were delivered to make sure I was happy with them. AMAZING. I needed an arrangement yesterday for a friend at Ritual Salon on Mendocino and had just been redirected three times from florists who won't accommodate same-day orders. Sharzad not only took my call before she was officially open, but she turned that arrangement around in just a couple of hours! I was FLOORED when I came around the corner at 4th Street - it was far and away beyond my expectations and yet within the budget we discussed. I was so delighted, I walked it over to the salon! I went here the other day to get some flowers for a friend. The lady who owns the shop was very nice and helped me to get the flowers that I wanted. I found some very nice orchid's that were absolutely beautiful. The selection here I would say is kind of on the small side. Although the quality of the flowers here is very good. The Google maps shows that it is in the middle kind of, so it was a little bit hard to find. It is indeed on fourth Street and to the left of Peet's coffee. VERY last minute delivery needed on Mother's Day, and Mirage Flowers came through! Unforeseen events thwarted our plans to see the mum in Santa Rosa. We live 1.5 hours away and planned to bring flowers and do dinner. With an understanding, but, disappointed mother, we had to do something, quick! We called 9 other flower shops at 2pm, all were already done for the day or we missed the delivery van. Mirage Flowers said they would make it happen, and two hours later we received a photo text of a GORGEOUS array in a vase and a very happy mother. I hate to leave a bad review, but my experience buying a corsage for my daughter's prom was not good. First of all, She is hard to communicate with. Second, she called me the day before to request payment over the phone. I went along with this even though I wasn't comfortable with paying before I saw the finished product. Finally, the ribbon color wasn't even close to what I requested. She didn't seem to have a huge selection of ribbon to begin with. Then she proceeded to argue with me about the color. I had to go home and do my best to fix it to match my daughter's dress. After paying $30, this is not what I thought I would have to do! The only positive is that the flowers she used were beautiful. I would look elsewhere when purchasing corsages. read more

I had went online to look @ Local Florists in the Area to send flowers to my Partner for his 40th Bday to his work. I had looked at other Florists but they were too Traditional and slightly over priced for my Budget. I had came across Mirage Florist and saw a few Photos from their website and was intrigued by the arrangements that were done. So I contacted the Florist shop and spoke with Sharzad and had asked to see if I could get an arrangement done and delivered the next day. She told me that she was able to do it and the price was completely within the budget. So when the Delivery was sent over, my partner took a picture of the arrangement and it was exactly what I expected. Very Classic, Modern, with beautiful choices of Tropical Flowers. I came across Mirage by accident, while trying frantically to find last minute corsage/bout. for my daughter for prom. Several florists turned us away, out of flowers or too busy to take any more orders, or simply didn't have anything to match the colors we needed. When I walked by her shop, Sharzad had orchids out in front that matched the colors we were looking for PRECISELY! When I asked about getting flowers on short notice, she wasn't flustered a bit. Her prices were amazingly reasonable, unlike the other florists I had visited that day. She reassured me that her corsages were primarily flowers, not a lot of filler. She even cared enough to ask about my daughter's body size/shape, and the dress style, so that the size of the corsage would look right. I left hopeful, but a little worried that it might be "too good to be true". We picked up the flowers shortly after the time they were promised, and they were exquisite!! The colors were perfect, the amount of "filler" was exactly right, and she was right - 5 orchid flowers fit perfectly. To top it off, she remembered my name! (And this, I found out later in the conversation, was after she had stayed up nearly all night filling the many, many orders she had received!) By the time my daughter got home tonite, the flowers are still in near-perfect condition - they held up really well! A corsage of this quality, with this many flowers would have cost easily 3 or 4 times as much elsewhere, and I really think we wouldn't have gotten nearly as good service from any of the others that I visited. Can't say enough good things here - I didn't have a single complaint!! read more

Both ladies were very dismissive of my mother and I. My mom very politely asked questions about a flower she's been looking for and was met with no eye contact, one word answers, and a chilly demeanor. They were extremely rude for no apparent reason. I'm sure I could think of many excuses, having been in customer service myself, but even with my customer service background, I still can't justify how rude they both were to my mom...on Mother's Day, no less. I just hope there was no discrimination involved, as we are both women of color.
