I appreciate her authenticity and real connection that she made with us. It was nice to meet someone who was able to be themself. Refreshing. The entire class was an intimate group of five total. Jenn took her time with us and made sure that we were happy with the scents we chose for our candles. The class spends a bit of time talking about scents and how to layer them. Did I learn how to make candles on my own? No. It was more of an introduction to the world of candle making. Give it a try and dip your wick into it. FYI: You get a 15% store wide discount on the day of the workshop. Scents open up more fully in your candle after a few days. One Disappointment: We checked Google and Yelp for their hours and thought we could make it before they closed. We raced over for our candles after work. Plants and pots seem to be my theme lately and I'm ok with it. This cozy and inviting space is filled with indoor plants and pots of various sizes. Make sure you look high and low so you don't miss anything! The friendly staff approached me to assist, and helped me measure to find just the right size. I took home another pot, a clean matte-finish, white ceramic and it's the perfect replacement pot for my existing snake plant. Thank you Flourish Team! They also sell greeting cards and little home decor items and some jewelry. And they have a new location in Sebastopol. I'll be back!

I have been replacing my All Clad non…read morestick with Hestan titanium which Science says is the best nonstick pan that isn't bad for your health or require the seasoning and heft of cast iron. I went in to ask how to use my new pan because it was sticking a bit. Of course they knew exactly how to solve my problem. I needed to learn how to use my new pan. You have to heat the pan (dry) first, before you add your fat, then add your food (eggs for me). It worked perfectly. The pans have worked every time since. It's always a new learning experience with new technology. Classic nonstick pans taught us never to heat an empty pan. Now it's the reverse. ILeoni has the most knowledgeable staff around. We all know too well how rare good customer service is today. I shop there as often as possible. I want a family owned small business to be able to thrive and be here for decades to come. She was hospitable which is very rare in the downtown Petaluma area. She was well educated and helpful helping my mom and I find the perfect tea for us.
