We are visiting Denver for a long weekend and loved eating at flower child. We ended up eating half our meals here because it was that good and healthy! We had two salads, two wraps, and two entrees on our visits and really enjoyed all the food. Price is a little high, but worth it for the freshness and taste. All the employees were very nice. I've been meaning to stop in for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did! The place itself is SO adorable and cute - very airy and bright with a nice patio. It had cottage vibes mixed with upscale, yet affordable and not pretentious, well thought out food. I got the Thai Dye wrap with no avocado. They asked if preference or allergy - preference (I just don't like it and don't want to waste it). It came with avocado. The flavors in the wrap were really good - the Thai basil and daikon radish were perfect. It's a take on a banh mi almost. Some sauce would've been nice. Came with a small side salad. My sister got the Glow Bowl with no protein. It seemed small without any, but it was very hearty and filling. The sunflower butter added a nice flavor and creaminess compared to the standard peanut sauce. The rest of the menu looked so good - can't wait to go back and try more! read more

I would never know flower child is a chain- They do an excellent job with making it feel homey. So far I've had the steak wrap and Mother Earth bowl and loved both! A steak wrap is not something I'd normally get but I'm super happy I tried it because it did not disappoint. The creamy horseradish sauce is so good- hint ask for an extra side if you're a sauce person. I love that it came with greens too. The Mother Earth bowl is so filling and has tons of veggies & nutrients in it. If you're not a vegetarian I recommend adding salmon to it. read more

This is a great spot for a fast casual dinner or lunch in a wealthy part of town that wont break the bank and will leave you feeling satisfied, but good. Flower Child has a variety of plant driven dishes that can still be a bit indulgent. I am gluten free, and they made sure to note that in my order to avoid cross contamination, and the employee who took our order was very knowledgeable about the menu explaining why a certain dish was not denoted as gluten free on the menu. We tries the seasonal turkey zucchini lasagna and the chicken plate with sweet potatoes and braised greens and squash. The zucchini lasagna was good for what it was, but it looked better in pictures and was a little bland in flavor. Since we were sitting outside, the lasagna got cold quickly, possibly why it was less than impressive. The chicken was nicely cooked and tender, though small in portion. The sweet potatoes are always good, but they have a spicy kick and sometimes pieces arent cooked through. The winning dish was the side of braised greens (usually not GF but can be made so) which was hearty, flavorful, well cooked and paired really well with the chicken. Flower Child carries one of my favorite local kombuchas, Symbiotic, which can only be found here and a few other places around Denver. They have wine and beer, as well as good gluten free desserts. This location is being very attentive to the COVID dining guidelines, feeling safe and clean and socially distanced. Dinner was a very quiet time inside the restaurant, which made me feel even better about dining in! Definitely will be back! read more

Oh yummy yummy this place makes healthy food delectable. I ordered the Mother Earth bowl and it was a generous portion and sensational combo of flavor. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again! Ingredients include ancient grains, sweet potatoes, Portobello mushrooms, avocados, cucumbers, broccoli pesto, (I skipped the) charred onion, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette, and hemp seed. Food and services are always great. The patio is nice except for the patio side door. For about a year now the mechanism that slows the door has been broken. Every time someone enters or exits the patio the door bangs. Especially when you are receiving a delivery. This seems to be the preferred door for food pickups. Was jonesing for a good soup and bread with it! Found the soup, but the rest left much to be desired...Asked if there was dairy in either the soup/toast and was promptly told no. Got home just a few minutes later to find my soup was warm and cooked to perfection, but the toast drenched in cheese and the avocado a gross, paste-like brown. I asked if anyone else in the house wanted to eat it and they were all repulsed at the state of the food. That made me question wether or not it was worth driving back or leaving a review. I'm not one to complain at all, but this really did leave a sour note in my mouth (no pun intended). A friend and coworker suggested that we should try this place out, so we got a group of four and ventured over! It's located right next door to the Container store and Macy's furniture, and they do validate parking! The place reminded me of an indoor terrarium with all of the plants and garden items. Super cute! There's an outdoor seating area which will be very popular in the coming summer months. I ordered an entree consisting of steak with a side of quinoa and sweet corn and butternut squash. Other dishes included Crushed Avocado Toast, Gluten Free Mac and Cheese, Smashed Organic Gold Potato, Roasted Broccoli, and Sugar Snaps and Spicy Japanese Eggplant. Items that we thought are worth ordering again: Smashed Organic Gold Potato (super creamy and no lumps) Sweet Corn and Quinoa, Roasted Butternut Squash, and Sugar Snaps and Spicy Japanese Eggplant. The Mac and Cheese here is lightly coated with the cheese sauce, which is fine, but all of us like our Mac and Cheese on the creamier side. I've eaten at the locations in Dallas and Phoenix, so I had high hopes. The denver location did not disappoint. It's a great place to bring groups, especially if anyone is vegan or health conscious. The GF mac and cheese is delicious. So is the salmon. I also love their variety of drinks. Their salads are fresh and delicious too. We ordered curbside pickup for 7 people during COVID. The app said it would be ready in 15 minutes, and it was. I got there a couple minutes early and it was ready, which was nice because the paid parking is free for the first 15 minutes. I was so happy to see Flower Child expanded from LA to Denver. I've been in there a few times since I moved here. The atmosphere is very inviting. The ingredients and multiple options for Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian make it a very populist place. However, I fell in love with their GF Mac and cheese back in LA. I tried this place for the first time after hearing from some Texas folks how good it is there, so when I saw that there was one in Denver, I just had to try it! It is probably my all time favorite place to get some healthy food that tastes so good at the same time. I got the Mother Earth bowl and it was so yummy and perfect. I also couldn't finish it in one sitting, so it allowed me to have a healthy breakfast the next day. I also got the gluten-free mac and cheese and it was extremely tasty.
