A perfect Denver morning at Olive & Finch - Union Station! I stopped in for a pecan sticky bun and a white mocha latte, and both were absolutely divine. The sticky bun was everything you'd hope for -- warm, gooey, and buttery with perfectly toasted pecans and those caramelized edges that make every bite a little bit of heaven. The texture was flaky yet rich, like a croissant and sticky bun had a delicious love child. The white mocha latte was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet -- just the right balance to pair with the pastry. The barista crafted it with care, and it came out hot, velvety, and beautiful. The vibe at Union Station adds to the experience -- sunny, open, and full of that downtown Denver charm. You can sip your coffee, watch travelers pass through, and enjoy the hum of the city. Highly recommend Olive & Finch for anyone looking to start their morning with something truly special. This is my new go-to stop whenever I'm near Union Station.

Cute brunch restaurant with some seatings available inside and outside. Order at the counter or online wirh QR code at the table. The quality of food was good. Service was alright. Some free street parking available.

I freakin' LOVE Olive and Finch, don't get me wrong. It is often the first place I suggest for breakfast, out-of-towners, and lunch. HOWEVER! This particular location needs to TURN THE MUSIC DOWN!!!! What is with the war on silence these days? Why are they blasting (and I mean blasting) club music at 9am, or ever for that reason? Several times we had to repeat our order to the cashier because they couldn't hear us over the music. We literally watched a family walk in, looked shocked at the music, and walk out. This location is and will continue to lose customers because of the music. I will not return to this particular location - Cherry Creek is not nearly as loud. Otherwise I do suggest the Mushroom latte which gets me through the week, the gluten free coffee cake, the sandwiches, and the shakshuka.

Brunch at Olive & Finch was lovely. They can easily accommodate GF needs and had many options. Many baked goods available and many were gluten free. Service was prompt.

Food is delicious Service: everyone has a good attitude and they come back to see if you need anything else. The place is really nice I love to bring friends for a cup of coffee and something else, also is perfect to come over for a date with my husband

Staff was super friendly & they note GF options which is a plus for me. The venue was clean & open to the street which was a great vibe for the pride parade. I didn't get much to eat, but the yogurt I had was yummy. I tried the purple haze zero alcohol drink which was yummy, but felt a bit sweet. Excited to check out the other location as well & hopefully order more food!

This Olive & Finch location was pretty good! The huevos rancheros came out with perfect sunny side up egg (love that runny yolk), delicious salsa verde, fresh avocado, beans, and crisp tortillas to bring all the ingredients on the plate together. Great option for a hearty breakfast or lunch. The pastries at the front looked fantastic, and judging by the steady stream of customers throughout our breakfast, I doubt I'm the only one who thought so! Solid option for a casual meal, a spot to work with some cafe vibes, or to grab some pastries to go!

Olive & Finch has a brick and mortar location not far from city park and also has a food stand in the airport. Both as casual. Service is good! It seems a bit overpriced for what it is and could use more vegan options, but overall, it's a great place to go for a breakfast or quick bite.

Olive & Finch has been a LONG TIME FAV: The area was my Old 10 year neighborhood, when I had my Hysterical Victorian, wonderful memories! And would you believe I past my Old FAV twice: Olive & Finch, causing me to giggle and state I have been away too long from some great restaurants. Now Olive & Finch is a thriving free wifi, stop in for some delicious food, or mouth watering pastries, quick bit or linger on your computer, meet up with friends, it does still have outside eating and street parking. This is truly and has been for decades a "Walk-About-Neighborhood!" Who many of us work very hard on to achieve. How the very Tiny Kitchen is able to serve so many dishes, I have always found phenomenal and all savory and appetizing! The Staff are indeed the best in helping to decide or manufature a new idea; which we did! I love Chai and we added a bit of Festive Pumpkin to my Chai, OOOO Delicious.!! Love the entire staff, my gentleman waiter is Hungarian and could pronounce my French name; AWESOME! Then Aspen & I sat down to a mouth watering huge smoke salmon salad with "Caviar YUMMY" pickled onions and a creamed cheese I could not identify, yet FLAVORSOME MOUTHWATERING, WITH EACH BITE!!!!! Served possibly on Brioche, the flavors were amazing; had to slow down and SAVOR!! The Open Aired Windowed space is fitting for everyone, serving a seated windowed bar/stools or wooden bench where Aspen and I sat, our waiter was sensitive to the extreme sunlight on my Aspen, he came over and lower the lovely shades while we could still view the outside street on 17th avenue. This is a walk-about neighborhood, filled with wonderful memories and I am ecstatic Olive & Finch are still in a long time business serving a plethora of people. The menu does change, so visit often and there is an open fridge for any cold drink possible, easy to grab. The pastries are to die for, WORKOUT TIME AFTERWARDS!! Lovely area, and I do miss my old neighborhood!!!

This was THE BEST CARROT CAKE I've EVER HAD! Perfect creamy cream cheese frosting & moist cake.

This is a wonderfully cute little bakery spot where you can get breakfast and lunch, too! I was looking specifically for a carrot birthday cake for coworkers and searched in the area online. So glad they were one of the spots to populate. This carrot cake was PERFECTION. The frosting is exactly how it should be, super cream cheesy and not sugary or gritty at all like some other places like yucky grocery stores do. The cake inside was super moist. I Loved the addition of pecans and strawberries. The strawberries goes so well with that cream cheese, too. Candied ginger can be more of a some like it some don't but I think it fits in this type of cake in the spice cake family -- and easy to avoid if someone doesn't prefer it. I personally think the strawberries & pecans are enough. And this cake wasn't too spiced either which I also liked. I will definitely be coming back to this bakery for more birthday treats, we celebrate monthly, and I will 100% be back for another amazing perfected carrot cake!!! I'm going to try to remember to ask if they can write HB on the cake itself instead of the separate chocolate placard because it just got wasted and was an extra up charge, too, that I didn't know about -- that should be an optional question with the order versus automatically added. It's just more to remember on my part that I wish they'd ask me instead. Please go support them they're amazing!!

Good down to earth food, a bit heavy on the salt and pepper. Service was friendly but slow. And it's also "half"-serve (you use a QR code to order, and get your own water). Lots of outdoor seating with umbrellas. Not the most scenic, given busy Denver streets and across from a bank.

Then the food starts showing up and suddenly the whole table is passing plates around because everyone keeps saying "wait, try this." We ordered a bunch of things and the smoked carrots were probably the biggest surprise for me. I would absolutely go back just to eat those again. The masa birria, diver scallops, and grilled artichokes and asparagus were all great too. The hanger steak was cooked perfectly and came with duck fat potatoes, which immediately puts me in a good mood. Dessert also fully delivered. The banana cream pie with black sesame whip was one of those desserts where you keep going back for another bite even when you're already full. It just felt like a really thoughtful meal from start to finish. Definitely one of my favorite dinners I've had in a while.

Absolutely Exceptional…read more Jack's on Pearl exceeded every expectation. As Texas transplants, we've enjoyed some incredible steakhouses over the years and have traveled extensively, but this was truly one of the best dining experiences we've had. We even drove up from Colorado Springs for our 18th wedding anniversary, and it was worth every mile. We started with the wedge salad, which was fresh, crisp, and packed with flavor--easily one of the best wedge salads we've ever had. The warm bread service was incredible and paired perfectly with the house-made spreads. The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and absolutely unforgettable. The highlight of the evening was the Wagyu steak topped with cheesy potato croquettes. It was cooked to perfection and so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor and was one of those dishes you continue talking about long after the meal is over. What impressed us most was that every single item we ordered was exceptional. The quality of the ingredients, attention to detail, presentation, atmosphere, and service were all top-notch. After reading some of the reviews beforehand, we weren't sure what to expect. In our experience, this restaurant is incredibly underrated. Our meal, service, and overall experience were outstanding from start to finish. If you're looking for a special dinner, anniversary celebration, or simply one of the best meals you'll have in Colorado, Jack's on Pearl is absolutely worth the visit. We will definitely be back and will be recommending it to friends and family. Thank you to the entire team for making our 18th anniversary so memorable. -- Andrea & Sergio

Wow moments - an ice cream cone, miniature "popcorn", and delicious cocktails. But... the food tonight overall didn't live up to the 2-star billing. My first issue: I left hungry. And I'm not a big dude. 165 soaking wet. That really shouldn't happen. We've been to a bunch of two-stars in NY, DC, Tokyo, and Paris, and they mostly program in a heartier, larger main at some point that lets the guest fill up. The wagyu was tasty but... it was probably 3oz of steak. Second: the service was over the top. We had two trainees tonight, and man were they trying hard. The descriptions bordered on melodrama, and they really struggled with interrupting and trying to subtly hurry along one of the slower eaters among us. That really shouldn't happen at this level. Too much service; it shouldn't be noticed when it's done right. We love the Michelin guide. Wolf's Tailor is a gem, and it certainly deserves a star. We started with the Summer Harvest Salad ($14) with Rebel Farms greens, freekeh, crème fraîche, pistachios, and fresh herbs. The kitchen thoughtfully split it into two bowls for us, and it was one of the best salads I've ever had--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. For our entrée, we shared the Dumpling Lasagna ($18), made with duck sausage, mushroom ramen broth, egg roll dough, chili crunch, and green onions. It was unlike any lasagna I've ever tasted, wonderfully creative and absolutely delicious. Although it couldn't be plated separately, they provided extra plates so we could easily share. I already had the tortellini in mind since it was featured in James Beard awards so I got that it was really cheesy and the truffle was really powerful and then I packed a punch. It was a little bit underwhelming however, I really enjoyed the artichoke soup with chili sauce or chili and then I also really like the beignet. I think I didn't have to go with the seafood. I only had a little bit of the octopus and I was like I don't think I'm gonna get this next time but the next day it was a delicious left over for lunch. It look like a paella. Even folks that don't like artichokes liked them. - the fish tostada was great! - Tomato soup was super and the grilled cheese to go with was super. - Affagato was the best we've had in a while. - The apple donuts had to be one of the better desserts I've had in a long time. The bad: - Pablano soup was really salty. That's all I've got. It was a good meal and a better dessert.

The eggs were so good - a must order. Each egg half had a creamy whipped filling of fresh deviled yolk mixture with a pinch of spice.

BurnDown is in a…read morerenovated 1940s brick building with a modern industrial vibe using preserved charred beams from a past fire when it once was a furniture shop - hence the name Burndown. There are three stories & a great roof-top deck with beautiful views. Not only does BurnDown have amazing food they also host live music & have trivia nights. Note, parking is on the street. We arrived for lunch on a Wednesday, ordered & paid at the bar then found a table. Our food was brought out to us. The staff was friendly & personable. I had the Mexican Street Corn Dip, French Onion Soup & the Harvest Salad. The dip was delicious... it was made with sweet corn, chipotle mayo, lime cream, cotija, hot Cheeto dust, cilantro & served with chips. However, I would have liked it a little more spicy. The soup was classic comfort food at it's best. It had caramelized onions in a savory rich broth, topped with gooey melted Swiss cheese & a toasted baguette, it was fantastic. And just as wonderful was the salad, made with squash, walnuts, dried cherries, green apple & goat cheese tossed in a great vinaigrette. This was a fun lunch with terrific food!

The reason to come here though is not for the food, but the vibe when it's busy, and most importantly, the view of the front range. Especially from the roof top on the fourth floor, the view is phenomenal.

And the bruschetta are always sooo good, as well as the vast majority of the wine options! I can't say I've ever been disappointed. The staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable if you can describe to them what kind of wine you want and like. As for the bruschetta, like I mentioned, they are all good, even the ones that aren't my personal preferances they stiill aren't bad, but my absolute favorite is the artichoke. I usually get two of them because it is so creamy and delicious. I also like the salami a lot, probably my second, and the lox/salmon is good, too. PS, you can also recork your bottle if you aren't a pro wine drinker for the board & bottle special. It's truly a no-brainer for the price to go ahead and get that bottle and 4 slices for a mere $25. I've tried a few other things here, as well, I can't say anything bad! And the place is often packed so that says a lot.

My friend also ordered the salad with the candied walnuts, and when it came out, it had barely any toppings. She almost was too shy to say something, but I spoke up for her and the kitchen remade her salad with no issue, luckily, it was much better the second time around Our server was super sweet and attentive. I don't think we got a name though. Thank you for a nice time!
