Tess was wonderful to work with and sent a beautiful proposal that incorporated items I saved on my Pinterest board/honed in on the style I wanted. She was responsive and open to the changes and questions I had leading up to the wedding and I really appreciated her expertise in some of the things I was unsure about. Flower House is amazing and creates lovely arrangements way beyond your standard flower shop bouquets. I am so glad I found them to create an arrangement for my mother's 80th birthday. The online ordering was super easy and it was delivered next day, on a Sunday. I went with the highest price option for the arrangement shown. Pricing was fair and lower than going with some of the other "local florist" websites who don't really seem local or all that skilled to be honest, but charge a ton more. The care put into the bouquet was top-notch and at a very high level of artistry and skill. It was absolutely gorgeous and fresh! Tess was our the florist for our wedding that took place last Friday! From our first consultation call over a year ago she was able to understand our decor vision for the wedding and was so willing to work within our budget. Every addition and change we made throughout the process she was able to accommodate. When the floral delivery happened on our wedding day I was so impressed and happy how everything turned out. Everything looked so perfect. I had told her that my favorite flowers were peonies but I knew they can be expensive and was expecting to have them only in my bouquet. She was able to incorporate peonies in almost all the centerpieces and bridesmaids bouquets which was a nice surprise and touch. Thank you Tess! read more

Where do I start with this. I unfortunately was recommended to Tess by a lady who raved about her work and work ethics. I love locals and helping locals, but I was wrong this time! We started talking in September for my wedding in May. She is not very responsive to start which I should have taken that in consideration early on. Lesson learned! We talked over the phone and discussed what we wanted Etc and she had said she'll put a quote together by the end of the week so approximately 5 days after we talked. 2 weeks later, I message her asking about it since I still haven't gotten any quote, response was 3 days later and that I was going to be moved on "top of the " she ended sending the quote which I had thought it was high for what I had in mind. So she made adjustments to make work within our budget so she did. I was out of state at the time so Sep/Oct and we had plans to meet in Dec/ Jan to meet. During that time we kept emailing back and forth about color, style, centerpiece, etc As we were going to meet, that's when I was gonna do deposit etc. after moving back to California. I emailed her in December to see when we could meet. It was during holidays so she said afterward which was fine. We planned to meet in January and it was a really bad rain season so we had planned a day to meet and I asked her for another since I wasn't able to drive. On Jan 8, 2023 so after 4 months of discussing and going back and forth, she emails me saying she's sorry that she can't commit to doing the flowers. This is the worst thing you can do , waiting for long to tell me you can't but also it's Mother's Day and many Florists are already booked and others have Mother's Day obligations! I had exam during that time and only few weeks left! So while studying, wedding prep, and now florist Cancels. It was very stressful time and I don't appreciate her doing that! If it was the budget, and if she wasn't happy, she could have been upfront about it! Not wait 4 months to let me know. It was the absolute worst experience. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. I told her my vision (which was all over the place) and she took it and made floral arrangements for our wedding that were better than anything I ever imagined. She is creative and able to really make unique and one of a kind designs. She knew so many types of flowers/foliage that I never would have even know to ask for. Flower House 805 did the flowers for our wedding via our event coordinator Ebeling Event's package. They blew us away with their interpretation of my flower mood board and color direction . So beautiful. I wanted the flowers to feel like they were glowing from within, and for their colors to harmonize together as a natural fit for our California Cool Meets Burlington Bohemian wedding theme. Tess was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is a very kind, friendly, positive person that loves what she does. I was so happy to have her as part of my wedding team, and very happy with her work. She delivered exactly what I hoped for. At one point, I had shown Tess a picture of what I wanted for our centerpieces. She brought a sample centerpiece for me to see, and it didn't look quite right to me. I asked her for changes, and she was very gracious and happy to accommodate. Later on, I looked at the picture again, and realized she had perfectly replicated it. I hadn't realized that the centerpiece in the photo was in a slightly different color palette from the one I requested for the bouquets and arch florals.
