I stopped in here after eating at the Braeburn, and this is the cutest little coffee/ brunch spot ever!! The welcoming vibe and good tunes are inviting. The inside has tons of books to read and browse, the bathrooms were clean. But the icing on the cake was the protected garden that had bumblebees and several hummingbirds flying around the flowers. It's absolutely adorable! They have little play areas for your kiddos to enjoy, and saucers for pets to get a drink and cool down. I will definitely be coming back to check out the live music I was told about and try the food out.

Great spot to enjoy a coffee, read a book and relax. We had our 2 kids with us and they really appreciated all the space to roam and shared toys to play with! Very friendly staff as well

Great spot... kids loved the atmosphere and books/toys! Enjoyed our drinks and baked goods. Friendly staff and lots of space.

Great spot with good drinks and baked goods. Kids loved the games and books. Lots of space and large tables for bigger groups too. We enjoyed our visit and will be back!

What a cute local coffee shop! There's tons of seating outside and seating inside! They have used books that they sell inside. So many options with espresso drinks. Some yummy baked goods. And I love their soup of the day options. This is a place to come by, grab a used book, sit down anywhere, and enjoy the beach breeze.

Just a quiet local shop. Friendly staff and nice patio area, perfect for an early Saturday morning coffee run and meet up. Love this town and the patio area gives a great people watching scene Might go on the garden tour later, idk.

Pad Thai.

They were extremely swamped and understaffed on the day we visited before a whale watch, but the service was super friendly and fun! There were five in our party and we opted to sit outside as there was actually sun. I had a pesto chicken sandwich which was delicious. My husband had pad Thai which was also really good. The menu is a bit eclectic, but everything I saw at our table looked good and got rave reviews. We will definitely come back!

The Italian soda we ordered was bad. Got a chocolate chip cookie and later saw that the center looked undercooked.

Cute little cafe! The vibes were good! And the chai tea latte was amazing! I didn't want it to end. Tasted like fall in a cup.

I do wish they made their own chai or got some locally made but it was all very delicious and it's a really nice warm place to sit, eat and read.

I purchased a book from a used book marketplace online, and it turns out the vendor selling it was…read moreGregor Rare Books. It arrived several days before the quoted delivery date, and was in pristine condition. It was an extremely hard-to-find hardback, so for it to be as flawless as it was (seriously, it was as good as new) shows just how much Gregor Rare Books cares about their products. Now I *really* want to go back for that First Edition "Master and Commander!"

Book enthusiasts and casual readers alike will find Gregor Rare Books a place to get lost in. While…read moresmall, there is no shortage of books you have been searching for, books you forgot about, and books you didn't even know you needed. Arranged in a manner that better suits your personal bookcase than any library, you will naturally gravitate to the right place among the shelves, visiting stories and authors as if they had called to you. The books are meticulously kept, and David is a wealth of knowledge about each one of them, as well as the lives and the loves of the writers themselves. A single question can lead to an engaging and enlightening conversation, and soon you will have a stack of books on the counter you have no recollection of putting there. Then comes the difficult part of choosing the ones that will leave the store with you. Trust me, this is not easy. Be warned: if you go once, it is very likely you will return. But if your travels keep you from returning to the island, simply ask David to keep you up to date on new arrivals. He will happily do so. With a diverse and broad selection (and with jazz guitar and piano recorded by locals playing softly in the corner), David and the bookstore stand out as an experience that delivers not only books to love, but the joy of exploration and discovery.
