my wedding was just on Friday 0/29. I had an issue with the people who were originally doing my flowers. they did do my order. the day of, one of my bridesmaids called flower power and asked if they can do them last min. well this flower shop did such an amazing job with only a few hours before my wedding. they said the flowers would be dropped off to the venue around 4:30. when I got my to venue at 3:30 the flowers were already there ! and may I say they were absolutely PERFECT! they were so accommodating even with them having another wedding to do that day ! when I called to thank them this monday the man on the phone was so happy to hear back from me. they really are an amazing flower shop and I will be using them from her on out ! read more

Flower Power took the online images for bouquets for our destination wedding and crafted exactly what I wanted. We had to use "fake" silk flowers due to our venue- and honestly all I received were compliments! I have been coming to Flower Power since the early 80's for all of my floral work. Sherree has done arrangements for me from my Prom to my wedding and family funerals. The flowers are always fresh, beautiful and arranged to perfection! The store is incredible, I feel like I am walking into a family establishment and am greeted immediately as well as offered help. If you haven't stopped in to see the display of Yankee Candles than you are certainly missing out. Don't go anywhere else before stopping here. My boyfriend and I did our Valentine's a few days late this year. He went to Flower Power to get me a dozen roses in red and pink. He paid $50, which included a nice red vase. When I came home later that evening, I saw the roses and rushed up to them for a smell. I noticed that two of the pink roses had a pale, sickly look to them, with a green/brown discoloration stealing on the outer petals. Then I count the roses, and there are only 11, when there are supposed to be 12. I was pretty disappointed, but the business was already closed for the evening. I called the next day and asked to speak to a manager or owner of the shop. She repeated twice that I should have cut the flowers and placed them in water immediately. I told her that they were cut and put in a vase full of water before they even left the store, and also that care had nothing to do with the bouquet being short by a flower. She assured that if we brought them in, she would replace with new flowers. When I came home from work that evening, I was shocked. Flower Power resolved the issue by: taking away the vase taking away all but four red roses replacing the other roses with a mix of three other different types of flowers THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED! I wanted roses so I could admire them, and then dry them out for decoration in my home. These are not the type of flowers that can be dried out and saved. My boyfriend said he just accepted the arrangement and left because he had waited so long, and clearly these people just weren't getting it. In the end, professionalism was lacking all around. We shouldn't have had any issue to begin with - the order was very simple. Our problem was not resolved appropriately, because although the replacement is visually appealing, in the end, it is not what we asked for. Needless to say, this was a horrible introduction to Flower Power, giving us no reason to ever return. read more

Went to Flower Power to purchase flowers for a memorial service and was given excellent service by the counter person. The following day 5 out of 10 were wilted so I called at 9:10am. The owner answered the phone and told me I must have not put them in water. Not only did I cut them and put them in water she continued to be rude to me and argue. I returned the flowers and were given new ones by the same man who originally helped me. This was the first and last time I will be in there. There are plenty of other florists in the area who have better customer service. read more

I love Flower Power! Whenever you go into the Dunkin Donuts or Belford Brewery you will see their amazing mini arrangements on the tables. Always so beautiful. My friend just had surgery this week and I sent her flowers from Flower Power and was not disappointed! With the storm that was supposed to hit hard Wednesday they called and asked if it was ok to send a day early and were extremely easy to work with! Will definitely be going back. read more

I find that some of the reviews of this florist that show dissatisfaction are baseless. The quality of all the flowers from this shop is un-matched. No one is as talented as the owner Sherri. Further more I know first hand that she and her staff make excellent customer service their most coveted activity. If ANY order was not to the customers satisfaction they would rectify the situation with warm, personal, courteous inter actions. Sherri is too experienced, too wise and too kind to be rude or unprofessional to ANY customer. Every flower and gift in that beautiful store is gorgeous. Best wedding skills in the state. I like to support local businesses, but this one just does not have it together. For what people pay for flower arrangements and considering they are most likely for a special occasion florists should take pride in the work that they do. A couple of months ago I ordered a corsage and boutonniere for my parents on the day of their vow renewal. I went to pick it up and the shop owner had no record of my order. She tried to tell me I must have ordered from the shop around the corner, till I showed my receipt. She then made arrangements to whip something up and have it delivered within an hour. It did arrive at my house quickly, but was not specifically what I had ordered and was made up of cheaper flowers than originally discussed. I simply resolved to never use this business again.. until my husband ordered my Valentine's arrangement from there. He payed for a flower arrangement accompanied by a small box of chocolates. It arrived sans chocolates. The next day they sent the rest of the package. This is always a concern of mine when I send people flowers (did they get it? was it what I ordered? was it of the same quality as I saw in the picture?). I appreciate the efforts made by the company to fix their errors, but why so many errors in the first place? I hope they take this review as an opportunity to improve their practices. read more
