My boyfriend and I went to purchase a bouquet for my mom-in-law's birthday. The associate, Indy (sp?) was incredibly helpful! I requested for yellows & accented whites at a specific budget, and he came out with such a gorgeous collection of flowers. He even allowed me to determine the wrap & ribbon to further accentuate the bouquet. My mom-in-law was absolutely in love with them! She set them in a beautiful vase on the kitchen counter, and couldn't stop talking about them. Would 110% shop here again and recommend it highly to others! read more

Very nice staff and owner, cute little store with a decent selection. Although the flowers were beautiful and reasonably priced for Staten Island, seems that the flowers died in just a few days. And from personal experience. They should've lasted at least 7-10 days. Basically just a giant waste of money. read more

I had placed an order through 1800Flowers as they had a beautiful pastel colored basket floral centerpiece for Easter. I knew that it would be delivered from a local florist and that was OK. It was pictured as all pastel colored flowers. I was so excited when I had went to my sister in laws to see it in person. Well that changed when I saw the arrangement. Mostly leaves with a couple of pink roses, purple and yellow flowers and looked absolutely nothing like the picture. To me I think a phone call to me letting me know that they were pretty much not able to make the centerpiece as shown and ask me if I would rather something else. I will not be ordering anything directly from Petals on Page at all. The first picture is of the centerpiece that was delivered and the second is the actual picture that was on the 1800Flowers website. They look nothing alike read more

I attended my friends college graduation and found out that they had to go and purchase another set of flowers from other florist. At the time of there pick up at this florist the sign said Sunday's closed and they had a receipt showing to pick up on Sunday. Her mom also had paid in full. Not wanting to disappoint her daughters day she went to another florist and had to pay once more. Now they are out of all that money and then some. How can a business make a promise, get paid, and not provide the service. So I recommend that no one goes to this florist stay far away. They didn't admit to fault and kept money without providing a service. Sounds shady to me. read more

Let me start by saying I know Mother's Day is an extremely busy time for florist, and they raise their prices but I received a tulip arrangement that looked like it was put together in the delivery truck and 3/4 of the tulips we're wilted. I reach out to them and they were very apologetic telling me they would send new ones by Monday or Tuesday of this week. Needless to say it is now Friday and still nothing. I advise anyone looking to buy flowers go to Bernard's best quality and if there is a problem they correct it immediately. read more

I stopped in for a bouquet of flowers for my house. I asked the young lady for "something that would last for more than a day or two." When asked how much I wished to spend, $20.00 was my price point. Two days later, I am looking at a half dead, mismatched, $25.00 bunch of flowers. Flowers delivered through 1-800-Flowers were not as promised online and did not resemble the "large" bouquet that was paid for. Instead, it resembled a small bouquet. Original arrangement was to be filled with a dozen specialty roses; 6 roses showed up with other filler flowers. Additionally, rush delivery was paid for so they would arrive same-day as a birthday gift. There was no attempt to deliver same-day. Florist claimed they could not be delivered and that a phone call was made to attempt delivery. No call was made, no attempt was made as there was someone home all day. After complaints were received, the flowers showed up the next morning, stuck between the front door and the storm door. When a complaint was sent to 1-800-Flowers about the timing of delivery and size of the arrangement, Petals on Page came to collect the flowers and said a refund was issued. I have never heard of any store coming back to collect the flowers when a customer was dissatisfied. I'm so thankful that 1-800-Flowers has outsourced another delivery through another florist. This was terrible customer service. What a disaster this was! read more

Beware!!!! This florist does not receive any stars they are a zero!! I used petals on page through 1-800- flowers. My delivery was sent 3 days late, after I was told the delivery went to a neighbor. (This was a lie nothing was ever deliver to anyone). I ordered a fruit basket that was supposed to have cheese, crackers, ect. What was delivered was nothing that was in the description it had only sugar free candy. To make matters worse the florist called the recipient harassing them that they were not going to get paid and told them how much the basket cost!! This was a sympathy basket the recipient was in mourning and florist was harassing them!!! 1800 flowers gave me a full refund but when I called petals on page to speak to the owner directly I was hung up on. My boyfriend had ordered me flowers from Petals on Page, through 1-800-Flowers. He scheduled the delivery for 9/15 and the flowers were delivered a week early. When he contacted 1-800-Flowers, they had no recollection of a delivery email sent to them or anything. Thankfully, I was actually at work the day the flowers were delivered. The flowers were still beautiful and fresh, but still a little upsetting they couldn't get the delivery date correct. It would have been a real bummer if I wasn't at work. The card I received even had 9/15 on it. Not sure if it was a mix up on their end or 1-800-Flowers. read more

Terrible customer service. Can't even get a delivery on time for a funeral. First they lied and said it was delivered . Then they said it was on the truck. Then they said driver was in traffic. What traffic? A 10 minute local ride. Don't use them- they are a vendor for 1-800-flowers and would not use them either. Plenty of other florists in Staten Island that have a proper way of treating their paying customers. Don't use them! read more

Terrible experience! Requested mason jars with tulips. Received ugly plastic silver bowl with mostly filler flowers. Of course, my party was staring in 30 minutes so no time to correct. Also, was charged in full when order placed so good luck to me receiving any type of compensation! On June 26th I had a college graduation party for my daughter and it was suppose to be the best day ever , until we arrived at petals on page to pick up flowers for the arrangement that I was going to do for this event, but when we pulled up at 945 the time we told the person working there .they where closed and when we read the sign it said closed on Sunday you can imagine what we where thinking. So now that I had not received these flowers I had to lay out more money from another nice florist to get flowers, I then later drove by that street to pick up my second set of flowers from the other florist, at 11:00 am and noticed that the open sign was on the petals on page was lite I went into the florist and explained and questioned why they where not open earlier, the guy said I was just told to show up for a pick up, I then talked to the owner on the phone and after yelling to them to request for my money back she said fine so I had the person sign the receipt indicating that I would get my refund back. As of today's date which is July 7th I have not received anything back . I recommend that NO ONE GOES TO THIS HORRIBLE SHOP, not unless you want to be ripped off like I was . There is NO STARS for this business but they would not allow my to finish posting this unless I give a star but not well worth it read more
