Sweetest lady you'll ever meet. She went above and beyond for my wedding flowers. She premade arrangements based on our initial explanation on what we wanted, but during the sample meeting, she re-structured the center pieces and bouquet just the way we wanted them. I became a flower expert when I started floral shopping for my wedding. I literally visited and consulted with every flower shop in Koreatown and beyond for the best deal and style of preference. The owner really worked with me in finding the exact arrangement that I always wanted and in some ways never thought about. She was able to really work with my budget when others would not without compromising on the quantity and type of flower that I wanted, New Zealand Cala Lillies, roses, among others. She also did several arrangements for me weeks prior to my wedding to show me how it will look on my wedding day and helped me make last minute revisions as well. I had bouquets, corsages, centerpieces and cake decorations within my tight budget, but it did look like I spent so much more money. After many visits for consultation, the owner, a nice lady, was so patient and helpful; she had a patience to listen to my ideas and needs and did the best she can do under my budget. The actual outcome was a lot better than the sample we worked together, and the overall design and the color were very lovely, and you can't beat the price. I was naive and didn't know how much the flowers would cost and it is one of the key factors that would make your day memorable. I visited so many other local florists around the church, but it was so much more expensive and I don't think I would've gotten the same level of services. Even though it was far from the place (it was Palos Verdes), they deliver on time, arranging with the cake delivery from bakers which was time sensitive. I randomly found this florist from their website and chose an arrangement. The arrangement I originally wanted was $150 and way out of my budget and I decidedly not to order but the friendly florist quoted me $80 for the same arrangement while subbing orchids for lilies to fit my budget. I placed the order in the morning and 2.5 hours later it was delivered and she used the expensive orchids instead of the lilies. Flower World will be my go to florist every time I need flowers. Ripped off :( We came here on a weekend to pick up a birthday bouquet for our grandmother. The owner never asked us how much we wanted to spend but proceeded to pick out a bouquet of roses and a few lilies. The flowers were not fresh, the wrapping a bit tacky and the overall bouquet was lackluster. However, the real shocker was the price tag of $60. I accept partial blame for not offering her our budget in advance but the next part was rather unforgivable. She told me that she normally charges $45 for a bouquet of dozen roses, which seemed a bit steep, especially when on our way out, we saw the HUGE ELECTRONIC DISPLAY that said ONE DOZEN ROSES $19.99. read more

Annie,the florist, made countless samples to make the best centerpieces for me. You can tell how much she is experienced as soon as you start talking to her. She's professional and generous which is hard to find at the same time these days with wedding vendors. She does care about the flower and making your big day gorgeous. She's easy to talk to, very responsible, and professional. Even the staffs who delievered the flowers to the venue were very detail oriented. My brother and sister in law got their wedding flowers from this place and the flowers were the worse part of the wedding that literally most poeple commented on. The flowers that they give to put for groomsmen and bridesmaids were so ugly and my friend's mom who attended the wedding who does flowers for weddings say the flowers look like 600 dollars worth at the most. I hate to give bad reviews for anyone but for sure with God and hundreds of others being witnesses that they did such a poor job that day. maybe the owners of flower world were at the worse moments of their lives and needed to make at least $1100 profit from a $1500 flower job. Do not pay them in advance. give some deposit and pay them after they come through to do what they said they would do.
