I ordered flowers to be delivered for my Mom's 81st birthday in Natick and I didn't receive an email confirmation, nor did she get any flowers. But they charged my credit card ~$65. They've never replied to my emails and their phone goes straight to voicemail. If you want to pay money for nothing online, these guys are the place to go. Flowers by the Depot is my go to shop. Last year they did the corsage for my son's girlfriend for prom. It was beautiful! They'll be doing it again this year! The owner is so nice, and her son who helps run the store is efficient and knowledgeable. read more

I ordered some flowers for a wake/funeral several days in advance. I left a phone message with all my information and followed up with a text as instructed. Flowers By The Depot debited my AmEx card but did not reply by phone or text. I kept calling and texting as I was worried the flowers would not arrive. They did not. I was very disappointed I could not honor the person who passed away and her family with some beautiful flowers from a local Natick business. AmEx refunded my account and is investigating. Bummed. Ordered a bouquet for my sister's birthday through their online order form two days before her birthday. Received a message saying, "Thank you. Your information has been submitted." Did not receive any type of confirmation of order or anything, so called and left a message the next day, hoping all was set. Sister's birthday came and went with NO flowers. I called the day after (again) and Jay said he didn't get the order or the voice message I left. I don't want to give a 1 star rating because the business didn't actually provide a service, but their system and lack of organization caused disappointment. read more

I called Flowers by the Depot in Natick Center, spoke with the owner Jay who was most gracious and helpful. He was able to put together an arrangement which met my needs exactly. fraud not flowers! based on the great reviews here we ordered a mother's day orchid for my 96-year old mother-in-law who lives in natick. we placed the order well in advance, wednesday. they took our credit card and assured us a morning delivery no later than sunday. nothing was delivered!! answering machine said they were closed on sunday. what legitimate florist closes on mother's day?! this is an irresponsible, dishonest, greedy company. stay away! read more

Beware: Bait and Switch. Part 1, The Problem: I ordered a "blooms of the heart" arrangement, which is shown on their website as an elegant arrangement in a tripod stand, with roses, delphinium and carnations. I ordered this for a wake, to represent my family. I spoke with Jay, the owner, and asked him if he could make the arrangement more white than colored. He was very nice and said sure, no problem. When I arrived at the wake, I was mortified to see that what was delivered was an arrangement containing daisies, alstroemerias and some small white flowers with a few willow branches in a vase (not a stand). It looked like something I would have put together for $60 at Market Basket, certainly not the $228.44 they charged me (including delivery, which they taxed by the way- delivery is not taxed in MA). To make matters worse, the condolence card was hand printed messily in large, uneven capital letters. I found out when I spoke to Susan (the owner's mother) that she had written out the card using her prosthesis (she is an amputee). I felt terrible for her disability (and still do), but do not understand why they are hand printing these cards (especially given the circumstances) instead of electronically printing them as every other florist does. The recipients do not know these circumstances, and I certainly cannot go to a grieving family at a wake and say "Sorry for your loss. Hey, you know the arrangement delivered on behalf of my family, well it was supposed to be a lot nicer, and card looks that way because the florist is disabled". I can't do that. If I hadn't attended the wake, I never would have known that a totally different arrangement was delivered. Part 2, Response from Florist: The day of the wake (Sunday), I called and left a livid voicemail. They are closed Sun and Mon. I called Tuesday and demanded the owner or manager call me back. Susan called me back and explained that her son was in the hospital. I was sorry to hear that but went on to explain that the arrangement that was delivered was completely different from what I ordered. She knew enough about the arrangement to (inexplicably) try to argue with every point I made- but when I demanded a refund, she suddenly didn't know anything and had to look into it. I didn't hear back Wednesday. I called the shop Thursday and spoke with Meaghan. She said it had been crazy and that Susan would call me back by end of day. No call. No call Friday. I called Saturday and left a voicemail. It's now Tuesday and I still haven't heard anything. If the mistake was accidental, I would have expected them to follow up and offer at least a partial refund. Someone had an order for "blooms of the heart", and made up a completely different arrangement, with (coincidentally?) lesser value flowers, in a lesser value presentation (glass vase). My request to make it more white than colored meant substituting white roses for pink- not swapping out daisies and alstros for everything, putting it in a vase instead of a tall stand, and calling it equivalent. Part 3, My Advice: From what I see, there are really three possibilities: A) They intentionally rip people off in order to improve profit margin B) They don't see the difference in value between roses and daisies or C) There was a genuine mistake, and they are too overwhelmed (or don't care enough) to follow up on it after over a week. Either way, I do not recommend relying on this business for an important arrangement (especially for a funeral arrangement, where you cannot, in good taste offer an explanation to grieving recipients), and I especially do not recommend paying them in advance. read more

This store is trash. I ordered over $60 worth of flowers from them for my mother for the Friday before Mother's Day. The flowers were never delivered, with no notification or explanation. I had to ask my mother if she received them. When I called the next week about the missed order, (again for MOTHERS DAY) there was no explanation, no effort to redeliver the flowers, and not even an apology for neglecting the order. Now, a month later, I have called three times about this issue asking about a refund, which I have been promised every time. I still have not received this money and I basically feel like this store has stolen my money. Their customer service is non-existent. They literally took my money, forgot about me, and refuse to issue a refund. I would avoid them at all costs. read more

I'm quite disappointed with their customer service. I found them unreliable. Things that were meant to be coordinated with my bouquet order never happened. I wanted to use a local florist since they are usually reliable and better quality, but in this case it was a poor choice. Very disappointed:( I ordered 4 pieces for a funeral and did not get what I asked for. The flowers were not there when I arrived I had to call and she said they were delivered a few minutes ago and left in the garage. They were located but were very poor quality and unprofessional arrangements. I asked for a basket of roses got a cheap clear vase with mostly filler flowers and one or 2 white roses . The other arrangement I asked for blue flowers and green belles of Ireland with yellow accent I got a sagging belles purple iris and one yellow daisy the rest was green filler plants Also order a plant and requested a flowering plant with the greens got just green plant Lastly I ordered a spray with the tag "sister" . The spray was beautiful but the tag was missing I called back and asked where the tag was she said it was delivered I said it is not here and requested another sent it never came I also complained that I was not satisfied. Horrible, terrible service!!! I ordered an Easter Lily to be delivered locally, and when it arrived it was lopsided with no dirt in the pot. Six days and many, many phone calls later, they still have not addressed the situation and fixed the plant (or provided a new one).
