Wow! What a hidden gem in Oxford! We received very courteous and attentive service and personal attention from the lovely owner before we finished our meal. The ambience is clean and casual and the large windows bring in plenty of natural lighting. The "healthy start" platter may be named with tongue-in-cheek as it features two generously thick and smoky slices of bacon and two eggs but the grilled mushrooms, avocado, and roasted potatoes made for an awesome brunch! Their giant pancakes are probably the best any restaurant can offer - better than many so-called "pancake houses." A stack of three is probably more than anyone can finish! The chipotle chicken panini was also more than I could eat at one sitting, the serving was so generous. This is not "fast food." Everything is cooked to order and is brought to the table when it is ready, so everyone may not be eating at the same moment, but everyone will be served a fresh dish, not one sitting under a heat lamp for 10 minutes while the rest of the order is finished. And accommodating, too-- I asked if there was anything vegan and was pleasantly surprised by the options, but they also said they could try to make pretty much anything vegan if I wanted. I got the Belgian waffles and some black coffee. It's beautiful in there, and honestly it felt amazing to go somewhere that had options for people like me :) I had such a nice time and would definitely come here many more times. I am a huge fan of flowers cafe. It is small, locally owned, uniquely decorated and beloved in the community. I've tried a few breakfast options, they've all been fresh, fast and with large portions. The smoothies are delicious, though I don't buy them because they're premade and sitting in disposable cups. My only recommendation for improvement is to eliminate disposable and single use plastic for all dine-in services. read more

Flowers Cafe - Still Brunch Royalty Second visit, and I'm convinced Flowers Cafe isn't a restaurant--it's a love language. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, and wow. Two fried eggs (expertly guided by the amazing Cynthia, the hostess who helped me decide how to have them--give that woman a raise!), laid over warm tortillas with chorizo, beans, green chili salsa, crema, and red onions that came in like a flavor mic drop. Every bite was magic. The breakfast potatoes? Crispy golden cubes of joy. I'd defend them with my life. To drink? Their fresh carrot-orange-pineapple juice tasted like liquid sunshine. Bright, smooth, and just sweet enough to make me rethink my entire hydration strategy. Service? A+ all around. Kind, quick, and genuinely welcoming. I felt like a regular even though it was only my second time. Flowers Cafe has officially secured a permanent spot in my weekend brunch rotation. This was a great place to stop on our travels! Th menu was great for a breakfast or lunch we opted for the smoked salmon and the bacon bagels. They were excellent and plenty. Great new cafe in Oxford. Ed stopped in on a Saturday morning and there were a few other people dining in too. Service was friendly and coffee was very good. Food comes out as it is cooked, which can mean longer ticket times for the table but everything is hot when you get it. French toast was surprisingly good, chilaquiles was good but would have liked it spicier (personal preference). Prices were quite reasonable. We will definitely be back! read more

Really terrific place right in the center of Oxford (right off the intersection of Rte 10 and 472 - across from the big church). Excellent place to grab a coffee and a bagel - but they also have a full menu of food. Ideal place to grab breakfast.
