I've…read moregone here exclusively over the last few years for birthdays, anniversaries, valentines, and mother's days. I have never once been disappointed (and more importantly neither has my wife). You can tell that the flower quality is really great. Their delivery has been reliable, but I've also gone inside and was surprised by how many good gifts and cards they have available. I also met some of the people who work there, and all of them were incredibly nice.

What arrived was wilted, sparse, and shockingly small--nothing like the lush, elegant arrangement shown online. The quality was cheap, careless, and poorly arranged (see attached pic). Worse than the product was the customer service. When I called to address the issue, I was interrupted, talked over, yelled at, and hung up on. The owner was defensive, dismissive, and aggressively rude. Anyone reading this should take a moment to scroll through the business's responses to negative Google reviews--that alone tells you everything you need to know. Bloom Around will NEVER stand behind their product when there are issues and instead they treat customers with open contempt. Do not trust them with your money or your meaningful moments.

You really tell how a business treats its customers not by flawless service, but when things may not go according to plan. I found this place through YELP and was a little wary because of the one single star review, however that review seems more a personal vendetta than service rating since they never purchased a product from the store. I originally came to the shop to have flowers delivered to my fiancee at her work (a school), and had them piece together a floral arrangement for valentines day. I had a pleasant conversation with the owner. Valentines day showed up and my fiancee came home and did not have flowers. I called a few times, but no one answered, obviously busy with their orders. They actually called me while I was driving there and explained that the shipment for one of the flowers I agreed to have in the arrangement were delivered damaged/late by their supplier, and they just got replacements and were offering to deliver them to our house. Since I was on my way I said I'd pick them up there. Upon arrival, the owner apologized profusely and bent over backwards to make it right. We came to an agreement on compensation and picked up the arrangement. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL. While the flowers weren't delivered to her work, I still got the arrangement I wanted on the day I wanted. Even after we had agreed on compensation, she kept trying to offer me items to make up for missing the delivery. My case is probably a "worst" case, and I left the shop extremely happy with the product and my experience. If that's the worst you can expect, then everything else is roses. I absolutely would shop here again and would recommend people to go here. read more

Recently ordered a small bouquet for a friend's 71st birthday. My boss and I were both pleasantly surprised to find some sprigs or fragrant rosemary in with the greenery and flowers. Rachelle didn't even know our friend is quite the chef. On another occasion a coworker was having issues with timely delivery of Valentine flowers for his wife. Even though they were crazy busy, Rachelle stopped what she was doing and made a beautiful arrangement in his price range. She saved the day. I've seen the work she puts into bridal shows as well as photos from the many weddings she had done - her staff are all very talented and excellent, unique designers. Rochelle is hands down the BEST florist in the area!! I hired her a few years ago to do all the flowers at my wedding. Bride and bridesmaid bouquets, boutonniere, corsages, altar pieces, centerpieces, and other focal floral pieces. Every single piece was exquisite!! Flowers On The Mound is by far the best florist I've ever worked with. They use technology in the best way. You start by texting them. You can send pictures of your dress (for corsages, hair pieces, floral rings) along with any important details. They will call you or text pictures, if needed, to work out details. Then you just go pickup your beautiful custom creations. We have been thrilled with every piece Flowers On The Mound has created for us. BUT the best part of working with them is the staff. It looks like any bouquet I could have gotten from a grocery store. But worse, once I started driving home, I noticed the flowers already looked like they were damaged and starting to brown. I know things, such as wrong dates, happen but I'm left feeling like I spent a lot of time (I don't live close) and extra money for an inferior product. This is magnified by the beautiful examples of bouquets that have on their website. If only! My advice is to bring in pictures of what you would like and maybe specify types of flowers.
