Seafood pan roast (no mussels). Delicious
Angela P.

Pleasantly surprised at the food quality here. I thought it was just regular bar food, but they have a good variety to choose from. I got the seafood pan roast and it was delicious. I came for lunch with coworkers, and the staff was friendly and attentive. My coworker ordered the fish and chips and the plate was HUGE! It came with four fried fish. I will definitely come back with family. Lots of seating away from the bar. High chairs available for little ones too.

Came for the late night happy hour without reliving my fishbowl days! Wings with fries for $7, and the service was prompt. Bonus, I like tequila on ice with pineapple, and they have thick pineapple slices! Shout out to Hannah for doing a great job taking care of me! The wings came out crispy and and the tide sauce was like a teriyaki buffalo mix. Let's call it a very mild sweet heat. Steak fries are always an easy go-to and reheat well in the air fryer.

Changed it up a little and had the Steamed Clams and a Salad. The Steamed Clams were very tasty, but very small. It was a little disappointing, but I guess they tried to compensate by giving more (I counted 21). I still prefer the bigger ones though. The Side Salad tasted fresh and much bigger than I was expecting. All together, I was actually pretty satisfied with my food. Mercedes was our server and she did a great job taking care of us. We actually got $10 off our meal today. The Rewards Program is very good here. They also honor Military discounts. We really like how down to earth this place is.

4/12/25 So we came with a large group. We had 9 of us Friends . Jayla S our server was amazing with our large group , very Attentive and on top of whatever we needed. I ordered a Michelada., Tide Bourbon Burger W/ Garlic fries . We also had some jalapeño poppers for appetizer. My beer was delish. My Burger was good , i have had better on other times but still delish I ate the whole thing. Garlic fries were on point. Crisp and plenty of garlic. The jalapeño poppers were cooked perfect and not too spicy Good flavor. Everyone enjoyed their food. All in all was a great evening of food and friends. Will be back . Always have good food when going. Enjoy !!!!

Went here last night for dinner. As usual, great service and a great atmosphere. I had their Taco Salad for the first time and it was delicious. If you're a veteran (Marine Corps!), they give you a 10% discount. On top of that, if you sign up for their rewards program, you get $10 off every time you hit 100 points. They also have two happy hours a day. One starting at 2pm and the other at 10pm. Their prices on everything are just right. I highly recommend this Flowing Tide in South Reno.

The service is typically good at this location and the food is consistent. The cocktails are sometimes iffy. Great place for big groups. Although, if you or your kids have strong food allergies, your food selection will be limited. They fry everything in soy bean oil (which is difficult for those with soy allergy). They use the same grill for all foods, which is not good for cross-contamination. Unfortunately one of our kiddos couldn't get a burger due to a fish allergy and the risk of cross contamination.

Chicken Kabobs on rice.

Great kabob skewers, fish & chips, teriyaki bowls and more! Comfortable booths and covenient bar dinning with full bar. Staff are friendly but often become inattentive and overwhelmed at this particular location due to frequent high traffic situations. Less problematic at most other locations.

Anchor Burrito (husband enjoyed this-- it has chicken fried steak inside!)

Ok, wow, based on the outside signage I was expecting kind of a dumpy dive bar but this may be my new go-to for dates with my husband! We were eyeing the happy hour prices for dinner out as a family sometime too (I noticed they had kid items on the breakfast menu so I'm assuming kids are allowed to dine at other times as well). The atmosphere is surprisingly upscale for what I was anticipating and tastefully done to the ship theme. The service was great, the drinks were tasty (the waitress was kind enough to relay a taste preference to the bartender and the bartender delivered on my desired "sweet and creamy" coffee drink). The price was fair (especially given the recent egg shortage which has doubled the price of eggs recently!), and the breakfast got the job done. I'd be curious to try the French toast next time and/or request some avocado and lemons with my eggs Benedict next time (I prefer when the hollandaise sauce has a note of lemon). I will say that they could revise their lunch/dinner menus. Those menus are consistent with the dive bar vibes of the outside signage, they could really elevate the vibe by making their menus more classy looking (not in terms of what food is offered, but just the coloring and images of the menu). I can't believe we've lived on this side of town for 3 years and have been missing out all this time because we assumed the place would be dumpy.

Prompt and helpful server but she seemed over-busy or in a hurry. Food was pretty good. I had a bacon blue burger and added grilled onions. My hubs ordered wings. Fair and reasonable prices on most items. I sampled an IPA which was okay, but went with a Dirty Wookie instead. The place was fairly loud inside, but cute and themed for the name with porthole windows.

Happy hour is from 2-6. Half off drinks and seven dollar chicken tacos, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders! Waitress was super friendly and great service!

We came in around 8:00 pm. I ordered a salmon dinner and my friend had a French dip. Our lovely server was Violet. The food came out fast. Service was outstanding and the Salmon and herb rice dinner was a Five Star Meal. The ambiance and decor were so cool. Amazing wall mutuals of ships and serpents and a pool table too! I also loved the lighthouse behind the beautiful bar. The prices were amazing. The food was so good I went to thank the Chefs, the servers and the Manager. I will come back soon and bring my family. Thank you to Violet and Paloma for outstanding Service with Five Star Food and a team of people who can really cook.....Mauricio, Mauricio Jr. and Javier. Five Star Julie A

I had a peach old fashioned which was very nice and smooth . Had the parlor burger and tots, it was massive but very good . Rani was our server and she was excellent and took good care of us . The lighting fixtures were fun and unique. There were tvs everywhere. Of course one was tuned to atmosphere and some bar trivia was playing. We started off dinner with some fried wontons. They were flavorful and cooked well. We ordered the French onion soup and the chef's burger with fries. The soup said on the menu it came with homemade croutons but instead it came with generic saltine crackers. Also it was made with red onion instead of yellow onion which was a ... choice. The burger, however, was perfect. The flavors were good, it was cooked exactly as ordered, medium rare. Our waitress was great. We absolutely loved her. Even though she was the only waitress there she was on her game. She was honest and professional and really had a great personality. Food came out in a timely fashion. The cocktails were delicious. The restaurant was clean and well taken care of. Overall we enjoyed our time here and if we happen to be passing through again we would stop here.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and it's clear they've thought of everything to make it family‑friendly. Beer: We tried the Spa Lager -- an American lager infused with cucumber and lemon -- and it was absolutely delicious. Light, crisp, and super refreshing. They have a full line up and also offer flights. Definitely have to check out others next time I visit. Food: For lunch, we shared the "Go To Pizza" and their Tatanka wings -- both were flavorful and came out hot and fresh, a real step up from typical brewery bites. Extra Perks: One of the coolest things is their outdoor garden area, which seems perfect for larger gatherings. They also have a rooftop space and a dedicated kids' area with kid‑friendly shows -- a huge plus for families. Events: They offer daily events, and we saw they have a fun lineup coming up -- including a singles night, a Mother's Day brunch, and they even serve breakfast. Lots of reasons to come back.

Airy and bright atmosphere, lots of windows and outdoor patio seating on those nice days. I tried the grilled cheese with short rib and homemade chips. The ribs were tender and the sauce savory. It was a little light on the cheese for a grilled cheese sandwich. I expected a pull of cheese when biting it but it was more like a splattering of shredded cheese on the short ribs. Flavorful overall and the bread toasty. My coworker had the Twisted Bahn Mi vietnamese sandwich. Now we are both from Northern CA and had plenty of vietnamese sandwiches there but let's do a side by side. Starting with the bread. Twisted version was a softer hogie kind of roll. Where traditional viet sandwiches use a baguette roll with a crispy outer crust and firm inside. The meat. Twisted version had shredded pork, more like pulled pork. It was slathered in a korean style sauce. Traditional viet sandwiches typically use grilled meats without any sauces. The condiments. This is where both Twisted and traditional are similar and different. Shredded carrots, daikon radish, cilantro, mint leaves are similar. What's different is the heavy use of shiracha aioli in the Twisted and traditional using pork liver pâté with mayo. So am I saying the Twisted Bahn Mi is bad? No, just stating it is not the same as traditional Bahn Mi and better to know than to be surprised. Would I order it, no because I an used to traditional. The grilled pork belly and bacon mac and cheese appetizers were great! I would consider those two as my entree! If you are in the area, give Twisted a try.
