    Football Sunday !
    Christine C.

I really wanted to love this place. They do have an amazing amount of screens to view whatever sport is on. I came in with my bh and an out off town friend on a Sunday to watch football. We were greeted by friendly staff and ordered a couple of pints. We followed up with a food order about a 1/2 hr later. It took another 1/2 hr to get 2 of the 3 orders. After another 15 minutes, our server came over and apologized and let us know the cook missed the order and gave me a beer on the house. 30 minutes later, still no food, server let me know the single cook was slammed (bar is not 1/2 full at this point), but it should be soon. It has arrived! Finally and is just north of tepid. The servers are quite nice. They have a decent amount of beers to imbib, maybe eat before heading here?

Dubs Christmas Party - Really love what the guys have done with this place. The wings are top tier and the energy is great. Really the only bar in Reno I find myself in these days because the ambiance is amazing.

Came back to check out Dubs again. Short walk from Silver Legacy . They have all the sports (NFL, UFC, etc) Good value on food and drinks. The food might have even been better this year. Drinks flowed all evening long. The customer service just flat out Rocks ! Richie , Ryan ....they all were quick , friendly , and very cool to hang with . They are opening a second location and I am sure with this staff it's going to be a success . Check it out and tell Richie big Dan recommended them ! I will be back again Cheers

Wife and I were walking around and came upon this place. It's a really cool sports bar a lot of games on. The bartender was super friendly. The food was good with big portions. Great place to hang out and watch the games! Cheers

When I visited Reno last year, this location was "The Stick". The place had reasonable beer prices and decent TVs, so I returned during my most recent trip. Speaking with the bartenders, the change took place recently. The place isn't as dark as it was before. They removed the tint from the front windows and repainted a lighter color. But the important thing for me remains: the beer prices are reasonable, and the TVs are ok for watching sports on the weekend.

What difference a change of ownership and a deep cleaning can make! We have come to this site since it was Chocolate Bar. The last time was when it was Sticks and it was dirty and the food was meh. We vowed to never come back. We came for a late lunch and pretty much had the place to ourselves. Well it certainly lived up to all the good reviews. First and foremost the cleaning and general sprucing up makes all of the difference. Alex our server (and bartender) and Derek (one of the owners) made us feel totally welcome and checked to see if everything was ok. Ok, this is a sports bar and the food is very much geared to that particular patronage. It was really good sports bar food. I had the Classic BLT, my husband had the Chicken Tenders. Both came with a generous side of fries. The BLT was quite good with crisp bacon, fresh tomato and lettuce served on thick lightly toasted sourdough bread. The balance of the three required ingredients was good and just the right smeer of mayo. The fries were crispy and held their crunch and taste even when they cooled. The portions were huge, so probably sharing an order would be better for the two of us. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other offerings. The cocktail menu looked really good. Glad to have you in the neighborhood!

Here on opening day and the staff is killin it! Quick, knowledgeable service. Solid looking menu items for a sports bar. Lots of TV and it's two stories. Used to be a place with all black walls and they really brightened it up with the white paint. Great place to go to if you love sports and beer. Ant was my bartender and he was a rockstar! Cheers!

We came here the new spot to check out the NCAA Championship Monday gameday, I walked into the venue with high expectations for a fresh new atmosphere, but unfortunately, some new paint did little to improve the old look and old TVs, which some still had color issues. Our group of 8 occupied seats on the 2nd level and promptly ordered appetizers and drinks as soon as we sat with zero wait. It took approximately 20 minutes to receive our first round of drinks and an additional 10 minutes for our bucket of fries, which were definitely worth ordering came with a secret sauce kind of sweet but Smokey if it was just a little spicier they would be awesome. Although the Buffalo Wings were just okay--being somewhat cold and not crispy--the Garlic Parm wings had excellent flavor and were warmer. The Jalapeño poppers were enjoyable, hot, and delicious. Throughout the evening, we ordered about 5 rounds of drinks, each of which took some time, leading us to double order to avoid running out. Overall, considering that the establishment is still new, I hope they can improve their customer service and, if possible, upgrade the TVs.

Watching the baseball game here was a great experience, Richard went crazy! Great guy

Second time I ate here and it's amazing. I never thought about getting food at a bar would be such high level of satisfaction but here it is. I would highly recommend everything ! Prices are very reasonable and the amount of food is large. Service was fast and hot. Staff is pleasant, definitely recommend not just for the bar /sport option but the overall of the place is enjoyable.

What happened to the theme days? And the hiring standards?…read more I used to frequent Twin Peaks weekly for a multitude of reasons - the wings are the best from a sports bar in Reno, the ICE cold beer, Whisky selection, the great service, and - of course - the atmosphere, but have minimized going to maybe once a month. TP Reno started off great. A great sports bar experience found in any of their locations, nationwide. Now? The food quality is a roller coaster. Gone are the theme days/weekends outside of the way overdone cowboy/rodeo Fridays. Gone are the hiring standards - yes, corporate has standards set. If it were not for some (definitely not all) of the great servers/bar tenders - Danica, Willow, Lucci, Brooke and a couple of others - along with the ice cold beer, and all the TVs, TP Reno would be just another average sports bar... The owners need to step it back up, or this will be just another failed restaurant due to poor leadership.

Those girls must wear, if you call it, underwear or lingerie. Shane is the manager, a really nice, down-to-earth kind of guy. He runs a tight ship and knows his business like the back of his hand. The food is pretty good, affordable, and tasty. If a big game or sports event is scheduled to be televised, you won't be able to get near the place. So be prepared. Otherwise, the place is huge with plenty of seats. The food is always consistent, with many items from scratch. My suggestion is to give it a try. Whether by yourself or with a bunch of friends over some beers. Oh, by the way, it's got a huge bar surrounded by T.V.'s to kick back and watch your favorite event. Give it a try. It was such a beautiful day.... where can we eat outside?…read more I found "The Spot", its in the old Smee's location on the river. When we showed up, we asked if we could sit at a table outside, the guy was a little overwhelmed, he said "I can sit you in 10 mins". I said "can we have this table". OK, but....just know I'll be with you as soon as I get caught up, I'm totally fine with that I said. . He bought us a couple menus to look over. Then a table on the railing with shade opened up, I didn't care about the table was dirty with dishes, so we decided to move. I love to look at the river and watch the people go by. The server said, I'll be over soon! He was never so happy when Sierra showed up to help him out. He came over to our table I said "I hope you don't mind, I moved to be in the shade, I know I'm one of those pain in the ass customers". Then he started joking with me and it was the perfect ice breaker. My server and part owner's name is Casey! He is an awesome guy and such a hard worker to ensure his customers are taken care of. I love that. We had a couple beers, he has quite the selection of beers on tap, he supports the community breweries such as Lead Dog and Revisions. My husband had the breakfast burrito $13, it was huge with homemade tortilla chips with salad and guacamole. I had the fish and chips. You get three large pieces of fish, fries and yummy coleslaw. I love how they put the tater sauce and ketchups in personal cups for you that shows class. My fish was absolutely delicious better than the old Smees and especially the new location. You get a nice meal for $20. They have indoor, outdoor, bar seating. They have a little merch area and a gaming bar if you feel lucky. I know the Open Championship Bowlers are in town, if you're looking for nice comfort food "tavern style" location this is the place for you on the Reno Riverwalk 50 N Sierra. It upstairs.

I was definitely in the mood to try something new. After some searching The Spot is what caught our eye. Located by the river and where Reef and Smees used to be. including what you ordered or used, Since this was a new spot we decided to just order and share a ton of appetizers. This included: cup of cream of mushroom soup, pretzel bites, spinach dip, poutine fries and Brussel sprouts. 2/5 were a huge hit where the orders we would not try again. Cup of mushroom soup: cup size is a good appetizer portion, good mushroom taste but WAY too salty. Would not order again. Pretzel bites: SUPER YUM! Slightly crunchy at the corners and fluffy inside. Perfectly bite sized and great dips (cheese and mustard). Loved these and would absolutely order again. Spinach dip: not a fan. The one thing I did like about this is that the dip portion was extremely generous, but I was not a fan of the taste. For me it was like slightly watered down sour cream. You have the options of chips or baguette. We went with baguette and for the first time in my life, the dipping vessels were very scant compared to the amount of dip so if anyone orders this, I would recommend it with chips. Would not order again. Poutine fries: YUM! Definitely a shareable portion. Thin fries topped with yummy breaded cheese curds and piping hot gravy this was my favorite thing. The gravy was perfectly salted and I loved the breaded cheese curds. I do wish the fries were thicker, like a wedge cut but honestly these were insanely good. Will order again. Brussel sprouts: made with bacon which is always a must for that yummy flavor. Also drizzled with balsamic which is a win in my book. These were very tender and delicious but very oily or greasy which kind of gave me the ick but flavor was definitely there. Will not order again. We were seated immediately upon arriving and waters were brought out. Orders were taken quickly and food came out quick! However after the food came out, no one came to check on us, see how we were doing or clear plates. We were always having to flag someone down for refills, napkins and the check. It wasn't busy. The inside is clean, has a large bar area and outdoor seating. Also lots of TVs. I don't think I'll be returning, but I do recommend the poutine fries and pretzel bites. Things to note: Have to walk up stairs to enter. No private parking lot, have to street park and a lot of parking is metered. 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Saturday & free on Sundays / holidays.
