I was connected with Isak, and from the very beginning he was confident that he could do exactly what I was looking for. I came in with a design in mind, and Isak absolutely delivered. He was incredibly skilled, took his time, and paid attention to the details. The design came out even better than I hoped, and he kept enough length on top to give me a really fun, textured style. I walked out feeling AMAZING. But honestly, what made the experience even better was Isak himself. He was warm, personable, confident, and just an all-around wonderful person. I immediately felt comfortable with him. He reminded me so much of my little brother, which made the experience unexpectedly meaningful for me. Not a great experience…read more I called ahead and asked if I needed an appointment. The person on the phone told me they weren't busy and that I could just come in. When I arrived there was only one person waiting in the lobby, so I assumed it would be a quick wait. Instead, I sat there while a stylist finished with a client and walked out without acknowledging anyone in the lobby. The other person who had been waiting was taken back next, which made sense. But then another customer walked in and was taken immediately by a different stylist. Maybe he had an appointment, but it would have been helpful to know that before I drove down after being told to just come in. Then a pest control company came inside and started spraying behind the chairs and around the shop. The smell was strong and unpleasant. At that point I decided to leave before even getting my haircut. I drove to Floyd's across the street to since it didn't smell like pesticides and got my haircut there instead. Overall it just felt disorganized and not very welcoming, wont be back.

I have gone to this exact location four times. The customer service is excellent, the barbers/stylists attitudes are awesome and theres always a positive vibe. However I haven't received a single haircut the way I wanted it once. The last two times I went in they didn't even hear me out and just did what they wanted. One lady claimed she knew just what to do with my wavy hair. I actually stated at the beginning I don't want to "work" my wavy hair. The last time I brought a picture and the barber actually said at the end of the cut, "so I kind of did a trick with your hair". The picture was simply a medium razor fade, now I have a high and tight and feel like an idiot. Again, the service is top notch and everyone is nice but the new manager is more focused on his own customers instead of ensuring that the employees are being held accountable for their work. read more

Drove by and the building looked very modern and interesting. I've never been to a barber shop, I've always been hesitant due to different stereotypes. Didn't have an appointment and the front window said "walk in welcome" I had stylist Tasha O. She was amazing from greeting to good bye. Very professional. Showed her a couple pictures of what I wanted and she knocked it out with no issues. All of the staff was very friendly. I tend to be meek when I go to a new establishment or meet a new person but she was very friendly and was genuinely interested in my interests. Made my experience so much better. I look forward to booking another appointment with Tasha. Highly recommended barber shop. read more

I currently wrote a "bad" review ... I am now going to simply let everyone know never go see eric the manager! He is horrible! He will destroy your hair! I don't hold floyd's staff responsible, but someone in that company should hold Eric the manager "stylist" accountable. He should not have that job or title. He is the most unprofessional person I've met in the industry. My hair was chopped and ruined. Now I feel it was on purpose - he couldn't be that bad! I am calling the better business bureau, fighting with someone after butchering my hair. I usually walk into a barbershop a little nervous because I almost always regret my haircut, this was not the case today. Myrah C. did such a fantastic job cutting my hair and trimming my beard. The enthusiasm and attention to detail that Myrah presented was beyond satisfactory, and I will, without a doubt, return to her chair every month. I was looking for a barber since moving from the Bay Area and tried this spot It had a great atmosphere and the staff seemed happy and upbeat. I was fortunate enough to get hooked up with Jordan. He did a fantastic job and was cool to talk with. I have been back to him three times now and every cut has been money. Myrah C is the best stylist ever! She is super fun, does a fantastic job, and offers advice and thoughts. I actually look forward to having my hair cut now because of her. The shop itself is nice, clean, and has very catchy music. The prices are a bit high for product ($21 for Shampoo that can be bought at Ulta Beauty for $14). Constantly lying about wait time. I've been here several times and always call ahead to check wait time. Every time they say "no wait right now" I show up and there is a 30 minute wait. Today I stood outside the store and called, was told there was no wait. I walked in and the place is full of people and 45 minute wait. I walked out and never coming back. read more

He agreed to shape up the sides but clearly has no idea what he was doing. His clippers were dull and chewed my hair. Didn't taper or do the traditional landing strip that comes with a flat top. The owner appeared from the back saw the shock and interaction with this kid barber and did nothing to intervene. I knew at this point I never would return to this shop.
