Three employees were sitting down chatting away while I waited for my appt. I went because i wanted to cut my hair into a long bob but my consultation specialist looked at my hair and said my hair was fried. There was nothing he could do, I was so confused. I said, I'm not here to dye my hair. I'm here for a haircut. He said, I know. You need keratin and once your hair gets healthy I could try. Out of curiosity I asked, if I get my hair back to "healthy " again. I asked who he would recommend and he said nobody here. I was shocked and to be honest, I was so over the consultation that I awkwardly laughed and promised him I'd be back. He could honestly care less. I wasn't too irritated because it smelled like hard boiled eggs or broccoli in there. Not to mention, The older woman at the front desk was hella grumpy as well. Not a great experience…read more I called ahead and asked if I needed an appointment. The person on the phone told me they weren't busy and that I could just come in. When I arrived there was only one person waiting in the lobby, so I assumed it would be a quick wait. Instead, I sat there while a stylist finished with a client and walked out without acknowledging anyone in the lobby. The other person who had been waiting was taken back next, which made sense. But then another customer walked in and was taken immediately by a different stylist. Maybe he had an appointment, but it would have been helpful to know that before I drove down after being told to just come in. Then a pest control company came inside and started spraying behind the chairs and around the shop. The smell was strong and unpleasant. At that point I decided to leave before even getting my haircut. I drove to Floyd's across the street to since it didn't smell like pesticides and got my haircut there instead. Overall it just felt disorganized and not very welcoming, wont be back.

I trusted her professional advice, even though the end result was clearly uneven -- highlights only on the top of my head and none underneath. Even though I wasn't happy, I still tipped her and politely booked a second appointment to fix the bottom section. At my second appointment, things got even worse. I waited about 15-16 minutes, only to be told there was a "miscommunication" -- I had been booked for the wrong service and with the wrong stylist. I had specifically requested Amber to fix my hair, but she was already with another client. So not only was my hair not done correctly the first time, but my time was completely wasted the second time as well. I drove there for nothing and left feeling stressed and frustrated.
