Came in this morning for a faucet aerator tool and replacement aerator. This store has a big variety of items. Definitely love having a store like this in town vs going to Bakersfield. I noticed there were 3 employees working when I walked in. There were two other customers besides me so 3 customers and 3 employees. I need direction to where the tool might be. The front desk cashier was very nice and helpful. After finding what I needed I still had a question. I asked a female employee who was available and she walked to the area with me. During the time we spoke she came off rude and not helpful at all. Everything she told me was what I already knew and seemed frustrated. I asked if the tool didn't work if I could return it and she said yes but that it had to be in Pristine condition. Kinda hard to do if you need to test the tool. At this point I grabbed the one I thought was closest to what I needed and hoped for the best. I even showed her a picture of the aerator after she asked me what size it was and I said I didn't know since it was still in the faucet and I couldn't take it out without the tool. The one I grabbed ended up working, so I ended up helping myself. Customer service needs improvement. Price are not bad especially in a pinch if you do not want to drive to Bakersfield. read more

My husband went into Floyd's in Shafter Ca and was waiting to be charge for the items, the cashier was making out with a guy behind the register. There was a total of 3 people waiting. He said she was a short cashier and name badge said Norma. He said that there a true value in town. It don't look good on your Company. He also said it wasn't the first time it happened to him with her. She was the only cashier and she was in the front of the store making out when he was waiting, The store manager had to call her to come back into the store to do her job. I have shopped here a few times while on my lunch break. The staff and customer service has always been excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They are a bit more expensive than Home Depot... but I suppose it's due to being out here in Shafter as opposed to where I live in Bakersfield. Most likely because there are more places there so pricing is more competitive. But it's convenient, so at times I still go there even though it costs a little more. read more

Always helpful if need it. Never have to wait too long for cashier service. Always found what I was looking for.

Nice employees. I went there to pick up some parts for an unexpected repair that needed done at my dad's house. Everyone was very helpful.

Nice people. An employee helped me find just what I needed and they had it in stock unlike Lowes and Home Depo. Only compliant is that they are a little pricey. Got two wheels for a gate at $23 a peace, Lowes sells them for $18 but didn't have any in stock. read more
