A week or so goes by and I receive a message from someone at AAA named Joseph Sullivan, stating they would like to come out and give me an estimate. I responded to the message and said, "Thanks, but I was told you don't do that by the lady that answers your phone, so I already scheduled someone else, but if for some reason the current company falls through, I will get back in touch and have you give me an estimate." Well, that ended up happening so I got back in touch with AAA. I left them a message on their voicemail and sent Joseph a direct email asking for him to come out and give me an estimate. I received ZERO RESPONSE. That tells me all I need to know about this company and my project is a decent size job. The quoting process was great and easy to compare options. We bit the bullet and decided rather than applying some bandaids, we should get the entire thing rebuilt. This way, WE could enjoy a beautiful fireplace rather than paying for someone else to when the house is eventually sold. The guys at Clean Sweep did a beautiful job! They demoed the old chimney, jackhammered the foundation, poured a new one, and built us a working chimney from (below) the ground up! We opted for a gas log and a nice set of doors to keep the dogs and kiddos out when it's turned off.
