Although I planned on meeting him around 12:30, quickly headed out door as he was okay with eta of less than 20mins. Derek did a thorough job in explaining everything. What I really like about Green Scene is their videos along with the detailed photo report. They also use thermal imaging. Long ago, I had an inspector briefly point out things and provided written report afterwards. I was definitely okay shelling out more money for a piece of mind. Derek did nitpick a bit but, with this kind of investment, nitpicking is very welcomed! He even gave me his business card, inspection/notes paper and pen in case I thought of anything once home and brain had time to digest everything. :-) Highly recommend Green Scene!

During that visit, he made unprompted remarks about my personal life that had nothing to do with the inspection. When I told him that his behavior felt intimidating, he responded that he had researched me on the "deep dark web." We then asked that our interactions remain strictly professional and limited to inspection-related matters, but he declined to agree to that boundary. The encounter left us feeling unsafe and deeply uncomfortable. We have since filed a formal complaint with the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) regarding this incident. It is our personal recommendation to stay very far from this company. Homeowners deserve respect, professionalism, and basic privacy when inviting someone into their home.

There was no attempt to upsell and the promotional rate was offered. Paul Boyd, who is the owner is a certified and knowledgeable gentleman who is an expert in his field. He did an energy audit and identified areas to improve efficiencies. He also highlighted areas that were good, which is not something most businesses do. At no point was there a push to sell or upsell. His main focus was to ensure that the customer got the most from his visit. Will be using their services to fix some of the issues identified. The duct cleaning was scheduled for a different day. The techs arrived early and were very efficient and thorough in the job they performed. The work and cleanup was completed to my satisfaction. The pricing for the duct cleaning is competitive in comparison to other companies in the market. I highly recommend the services of Climate Doctors for your duct cleaning and sanitation. They did a fantastic job and they were very careful as they worked around my home and personal belongings. After the cleaning, I had a question regarding one of the filter sizes and inquired about before and after pictures. I received a follow up from the actual owner of the company after hours, who was eager to share all of the finer details of the service. He then proceeded to offer to come out and do a free energy audit at my home. This is the company you wanna do business with. Great service excellent follow up and they had a better price than the other company I had been contacted by.

    Workers came to add attic insulation and attic batt insulation to my home. They had a four hour…read moretime window for completing the project however they rushed and damaged my ceiling by walking too fast and aggressively on ceiling joists to swiftly complete the job, cracking my ceiling drywall in multiple locations. I would understand as I am a licensed structural engineer. Before they were about to leave I had to remind them that I also paid for installing batt insulation, if I hadn't, they would have left. My request to the estimator of making sure not to add insulation over my exhaust vents were not communicated to the workers so I asked and they were not aware of this ask. They were nice and fixed the very apparent crack, but weeks later a second one formed nearby due to the worker initiated the cracking by compromising the ceiling gypsum. I did not ask for them to fix this because how I can prove it? No one has walked up there since but enough time has passed to leave doubt on how it was caused. I would not recommend them.

After they had removed the old insulation Able, the crew chief, had me come look at what they had done. Next they sealed around all the light fixtures etc. Again, Able got me and I checked their work. Then they blew in the new insulation, which didn't take to long. I did a final check and they were on their way. During the process, Christal, I believe that was her name, call to see how things were going and again after the job was done. Also, they salesman, Ian, called to see how it all went. I might add that their price was considerably less that the other quote I received. This company is really worth using. I'm impressed!     I have been to 2 presentations. Bought the attic blankets…read moreand the solar power vents. All these items can be bought for less from different sellers. The attic blanket can be bought at Home Depot and installed by almost any half competent person that's not afraid of attics. The vents can be bought online and are exactly the same. The radiant barrier paint is available for under 400 for 5 gallons. The financing options they offer are worse than using a credit card. If you have a local handyman he can install all this for less than half the price. That said the blanket has helped stop radiant heat and the power vents are helping keep the attic cool. The paint has been made by many different manufacturers over the years. Not sure about the probiotic spray thing. If you are good paying more for them doing it for you and buying you a cheap dinner then go for it.

We agreed to get the free estimate and were thinking of getting the attic blankets and probiotic system. When the representative was ready to leave my home, I asked about the free items we were supposed to get. He refused, saying we didn't buy anything and we weren't getting anything free. This made me angry as I felt I was lied to. So, they lost a customer before they even got one.
