Luv-ing Fluffs of Luv grooming! I have taken my dog here twice and find them to be friendly and do a great job. Pricing is on par with other grooming in the area, but I also like the fact that it is more of a small business rather than big box groomers. The location is right in downtown Pineville with ample street parking all around. I also find the inside to be clean. You can see the back a bit which looks sanitary. My only hesitation for pushing to five stars is scheduling. I had to call five times across three days before someone actually answered the phone. There was a voicemail option. I suppose they are so busy which is a good sign though. Next time I'll make my next appointment while I am still there. read more

Every time I contacted them, I got an immediate response. Another company never bothered to return my call, so needless to say I didn't trust them to care for my cats. I loved that we got to meet our "caregiver" prior to deciding. When Joyce came to meet us, our cats immediately wanted her attention. We could tell they would be in good hands. When we returned home, they seemed very happy and healthy. Joyce texted us after every visit (at my request). That gave us peace of mind while we were gone. She was also able to give our cat his medicine. I like that the caregivers are background checked and direct employees. I also like knowing there are "back-up" caregivers in the event our scheduled person was unable to come. I will definitely use them again. read more

I started using Fluffs of Luv 4 years ago when I moved to Charlotte. The pricing is very reasonable ($15/day for cats) and they do so much. They will bring in your paper/mail/trash cans, water plants, raise/lower blinds so it looks like someone is home, give your pets meds and clean up accidents for no extra charge. They write a wonderful little note each time they come by so you have a pet diary when you return home. You can book appointments online and have credit card payment available as well. I love Fluffs of Luv. We have been using their in home pet sitting for years every time we go out of town. My pets love them, they leave diligent notes of each visit and really care about your furr babies. Before she passed away we had a beagle who was allergic to chicken (which is in about every animals food and treat). Our pet sister went above and beyond to get ahold of us when she wasn't sure which food was the dogs, or the cats. Just incase of the chicken. We have never had a bad experience with them. I have to say that I am super impressed with this grooming salon/pet food store. Let me first start by saying they are super friendly! I dropped my two dogs off this past saturday for a groom, and WOW did they look amazing! So what was above and beyond, it was raining that day and the gentleman in the store offered to carry my pups to the car for me. I also got a thank u card and magnet from the owner in the mail! Wow! The grooming was unbelievable. I've gotten so many compliments in my two babies;) The price is definitely average but way above and beyond for how wonderful they look. I also luked that they tell you the price up front and don't have added on fees like some groomwrs I've gone to have done. Oh and the store is very clean and does not smell one bit. Within the next day, we met our amazing care taker, and were all signed up and ready to leave the following day on our last minute trip! I will never bring Ash, our pup to a kennel again! Ash is 7 years old and is a rescue. She can be a bit nervous and does not trust many people. Our care taker sent a picture every day and notes of how everything was going. I had been to this place before to have them cut my cats hair, and they did a phenomenal job the fist time. However, the second time I went they used two different sized attachments so her hair had a zig-zag uneven pattern on it. The groomers failed to mention this when I paid, and I didn't notice until we got home because she was in her crate. Upon calling them, they said that after beginning they realized they were cutting it too short so they changed the size and offered to even it out if we took her back. People in the Charlotte area who have pets, you have to give this service a call. We have a large maine coon cat, and we just moved to the Charlotte area from New York. We don't have family down here so we needed a service to take care of the fat cat when we take trips, and this service is the best you can get. They seriously go above and beyond for you and your animals. They have different levels of services you can do, but while we were back in New York we had them come by once a day. For $16 a day they fed our cat, changed his litterbox, played with him for at least a half hour (mostly they spend close to a full hour), got our mail and watered plants. They even keep a log of each visit, telling you what they did and what your pet was up to (or into!) This may sound like TMI but you will be so happy to read it when you come home ;) The company is owned by two women named Jen and Bonnie, who are both so sweet and caring. They generally love animals and are careful about who they hire so you can be assured that your pets will be looked after with care. read more

The groomer, Carla does an excellent job grooming dogs.. IF she shows up for work. I've been bringing my dog to her since they opened the store in downtown pineville, and I've lost count of how many times I've received phone calls from Fluffs of Luv explaining my appointment must be rescheduled because "The groomer is sick" - Even sometimes my RESCHEDULED appointment ends up getting rescheduled. There is a second groomer named Farmer, that groomed my Schnauzer once because Carla was unavailable for so long.. Unfortunately he cut SO close to my dog's belly, that it gave him Razor Burn. I didn't complain, because I understand mistakes happen. I am not sure if Carla has a serious illness or just no respect for her job, but either way I've decided to take my business elsewhere. read more

I have used Fluffs of Luv for about 7 years now and love them! They are so reliable and I never worry when I'm out of town knowing they will take great care of everything. It's nice to have notes from them on what they did while they were at my house, and they have reached out via phone or text whenever necessary with questions. Alicia even used the vacuum to tidy up litter that was outside the litter boxes. I never would expect that, but greatly appreciate her care. Highly recommend them to anyone with pets! I am sure most dogs but our standard poodle always looks great when we pick her up. She sent us text messages and pictures while we were out, and the commentary she provided was such a reassurance that she truly cared about our cats and that she enjoyed taking care of them! We've been using Fluffs of Luv for years and I can't say enough good things about them. They come by as often as we request and we never have to worry about anything. They keep all of our info on file and we usually get the same sitter (who we absolutely love!) We love coming home and reading her daily log. We have a cat, a dog & 4 chickens and our pets are never stressed when we get home because they've received so much care and love from FOL. They water our garden & container plants which is so nice because we have a huge garden. They came by this past weekend when we received no rain and our plants looked very happy. They are the best!! Grooming: Have taken my two dogs to FOL for baths the last three months and have loved the experience every time! The bathers are extra careful with my dog who has a bad back, and its always a quick turn around to picking them up! Once I was even late to my appointment and they bathed them anyways. Very great customer service. Pet Sitting: Just used FOL when we went out of town over the holidays. I scheduled our trip with FOL about a month in advance and found their online registration to be user-friendly. The dog sitters came to visit well in advance of my trip so I got to go over all my crazy detailed instructions. In the past I've been super wary of leaving my dogs in someone else's care but FOL gave me peace of mind. The sitters left detailed notes of every visit and followed my instructions to a tee! They also did some extras, like take in my mail, deliveries, and took out my trash. My house was clean and everything was exactly how I left it. Most importantly, my dogs didn't even seem to notice I was gone! They look healthy and happy :) And as a bonus, they were able to coordinate a last-minute extra visit when my flight was delayed. I am completely blown away by FOL and I will definitely be using them for my pet sitting needs in the future!! read more

My cat Alley was diagnosed with diabetes a year ago. It's hard enough to find a petsitter who will give shots to a diabetic cat but mine is particularly skittish on top of that. The first petsitter I found was rarely available. My cat nipped at the second and bit the third so badly she had to go to the ER and filed a complaint with Animal Control. At this point, I saw no other option but to kennel her with my vet even though the stress of doing so causes her glucose levels to skyrocket. My vet searched until she found Fluffs of Luv and told them about my situation. I was terrified one of them might get bitten as the last petsitter did but they were confident they could help me. Rachel and Amanda came to my house where we experimented by letting them give Alley her shot while I went to another room. I was shocked when Alley didn't make a sound and thus hopeful when I left for my 10 day trip. They texted me the first couple days to let me know everything was fine and I began to relax. When I got back, I found several pages of notes they'd left documenting what happened during every visit. I've had petsitters not communicate with me to the point I wasn't sure they'd really even been to my house so having such detailed descriptions of every visit means so much. My only problem now is that I worry FOL may give more attention to my cats than I do! It's such a relief to know my cats are in the best of hands whenever I have to leave them. I love that they text me after each visit to let me know they have been there or even if they are running late. I even had one instance when I forgot to update the schedule online and I called them in a panic wanting to add an extra couple of days ASAP. I had a neighbor fill in for the first night and then they starting coming to take care of my cats the following morning. What a relief! I have used Fluffs of Luv twice and I am getting ready to schedule a third. It is so wonderful not having to mess with taking my two Boxers to the kennel. I love coming home and having them already there waiting for me. I could tell by how relaxed my dogs and cats were when I came home that they enjoyed having the ladies come visit them. From experience, it is very hard to come into a dog's house when he's home alone and have him be ok with it...especially overprotective boys like mine! I had an awful experience here! I have a 10 1/2 year old, 8 pound dog that has seizures. When I made the appointment they told me because she had seizures they would not charge me an express fee. I dropped her off and I will say they were very quick. However, when I picked her up it was horrible. They were so rude to me. They said it took 3 people to hold her down to groom her. We are talking about an 8 pound dog! She has been to numerous groomers and not once has she ever had a bad report. They told me they nicked her and blamed it on an old cut from the last groomers. I was told "who ever cut her last time nicked her and didn't tell you." The problem is she hadn't been groomed in over 2 months. The "nick" was so bad I had to take her to the vet. She has a huge wound on her stomach! When I was picking her up the man who groomed her was working on another dog. While I was in there he yelled at the dog. I can only imagine what they yelled at my dog. He also shaved her tail so short, it looks like she has been injured. Her cut is very uneven and looks awful. When I went to pay they had no memory of not charging me for the express cut. They were very rude to me and had no interest in me ever come back, which is fine with me as my dog is still healing from their carelessness. I have warned her daycare, which is down the road, and her vet not to reccomend this place. Please think twice before you consider this groomer! read more
